Giving an Antagonist the same rewards as a Raider is a bit of a joke don't you think MSE?
It's 1 versus 4 in reality and the only time the game evens out is when Elite heavies get aleph and either bomb the area or get a shield and grab the raiders.

You should at least have triple the gold, xp and faction award. Even better, if a raider/s are playing for first pot/s of the day you should be getting a large percentage of that, at least 75% of total winnings. And if there happened to be blueprints: common/advanced and rare then they should be yours as well.

No one, in their right mind is going to play as an Antagonist on their pot and dailies.

I'm afraid I don't get your point of view here. Why is it you feel antagonists have less incentive to play than Raiders when they get similar rewards for the same amount of playing time?

Game difficulty for Antagonist is FAR higher than a raider. 1 human + AI does not equal 4 humans. As stated Elites only become a threat with aleph. Tank Turrets can be a problem, helping the antag, but can easily be killed. The only times an Antag really has the same advantage, as a Raider, if not more, are on 'Cat & Mouse' and 'Mind over Matter' with the Beholders. If the creatures start spawning all over the place in 'The Enemy Within', the antag will be on a par with the raiders, but that's rare if you're in a good team. The Destroyer of Worlds is also a mission where unchecked kills on elites who get aleph, will turn the place into a Blitzkreig and shielded grappling elites on a rampage.
You'll pretty much always find antags on these missions. Other ones are really suicide for antags.

Sure, but in the other hand you can choose character after the Raiders, you have unlimited spawns, alternative mission victory options, you can now give orders to the AI, you can spy Raiders while you're dead, you can choose your spawn location...etc. The way that I see it, it's as a highly asymmetrical game mode, with both handicaps and advantages.

Ojuel,

Yes, I can see all that but humans ALWAYS beat AI in video games. The new commands, an Antag can give really are a waste of time. Giving orders to four grunts means diddly when a good team will annihilate them in seconds. A team of 4 T1 R1 raiders will destroy the equivalent antag. A T1 R1 X 3 team will also. Your new updates aren't doing much. Even if an antag can spawn anywhere there's still 3 seconds or so of antag invulnerability when they spawn a yellowy-orange glow that while the enemy can't attack you, you can't them, but they can SEE you. If antags could instantly reappear behind you, punch, grapple or shoot without invulnerability, on a par with Doldren, then that would give a huge edge, but then it would be very unfair.

Ojuel, the majority don't want an antag. You need to give them a choice or people will walk away. Monitor antag and no antag match figures and see what the overall consensus is and work from there (of course if an antag-no antag choice was given). I think the game is excellent but, truth be told, your updates are not addressing players' concerns and the new aleph update, let alone recent, isn't going to work.

There's an age old adage - "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

Here are the patch notes if you really don't understand the video... https://spacelordsthegame.com/news/patch-notes-17
Thankfully Tekato, I reckon I'll get my platinum sometime beginning of August and I'll be gone.
MSE are just stumbling on ahead like a blind man without a stick. They've nerfed all rewards, added stupid aleph changes no one wanted, removed BP acquisition greatly.....Another update and another mess.

Gameplay Feedback / Ginebra's ability is pretty crap.
 on: July 25, 2019, 06:13:56 PM
Yup, it pretty much is. Worse, she can be grabbed while in beast form. And she's so slow! Geez....The ability makes up for her slow speed, but that's, erm, about it. LOL
Added to the fact her weapon only really damages the people if they hit an object or one another, out of all the character in Spacelords, she badly needs a rework to her ability and weapons.

Ojuel,

Is it really that hard to not just fill up the blueprints, of the character playing, that they haven't received, instead of duplicates, just like what you do for blueprints, in the score award at the beginning of the month?

More so, if you are going to keep giving us blueprints then you need to SERIOUSLY ramp up the duplicate gold award. If we're getting one blueprint a day and a rare, whenever (I've had two since the update) then quite frankly you should give us 30k for a common, 50k for an advanced and 100k for a rare.

You still are not understanding that a 300% drop in BP award is terrible practice by MSE. We have gone from at least 2 common/advanced blueprints and a rare (guaranteed win that day if in the 8 hour time slot) to you giving us one a day.

I was mistaken! Once again mse never fails to surpass my expectations!  https://youtu.be/QiIuPAaG6-0
I can't watch these videos. I never understand a bloody word that comes out of Karen's mouth. Her thick Spanish accent confuses her English incredibly so. I'm good an understanding English, whomever is speaking it, seeing as I'm Scottish, but geez, they need to get someone better at speaking English than Karen. Hey, I'm sure she's probably a lovely individual, but trying to understand her, when she speaks English, is incredibly hard.

Suggestions / Re: "Come with me"command

I would like a "fuck off" command. Sometimes players stay too close to each other, most of the times to steal your aleph and ammo.
ROTFLMFAO!
Yup, happened to me loads of times. I got so frustrated with a Konstantin, in one mission, who hung about me like glue, stealing every aleph drop and grabbing elites I was about to kill.

As the title suggests, it is, very much so and I'll explain.
There are four kinds of quitters. Those who rage quit. Those who quit because mission objectives aren't being carried out. Those who quit in the game lobby because they're in a team with a player they don't like. And those who are simply trolls who just quit for the sake of quitting.

I disagree on those who rage quit and the trolls, but understand why people quit for the other reasons explained. People who quit will very probably lead to a mission failure and this is a baptism of fire. You will be rewarded when you play well and you won't if you don't.

Leaders will give advice to new players (and old) on mission objectives. FOLLOW THEM! That's what your leader is there for. More so, if you see objects with a hand icon then they need to be interacted with. This is obviously something THAT NEEDS to be done in order for the mission to progress. Added to this, solo missions will enable you to understand what to do.

So, by quitting, for the 'good' reasons, you are effectively telling the team to shape up or ship out. There's no excuse for mission objectives to not be carried out. More so, if a higher level player asks for the team to surrender you should follow suit because there's a very high chance that you will not finish the mission and therefore waste time. For example, if you are playing the 'Hanging By A Thread' mission, are on the second stage and Cortez has gone back FOR THE SECOND TIME to get aleph, there's a 100% probability that you are going to die and not finish the mission, either in that stage, while the timer's running down or certainly when sudden death kicks in.

Sure, there will be many people who will disagree with this post and I accept that, but let's not forget that games are there for the enjoyment of players. They're not there to make people angry and frustrated. They are a there to help release the tension of our daily lives, an escape. People should NOT feel obliged to continue playing if they're not enjoying themselves and game companies need to understand this. Therefore, if you're in a team who are not playing as a team, then, in my opinion, there's absolutely nothing wrong with quitting whatsoever, considering Spacelords is a team game.

Suggestions / MSE, Could you implement a block mechanic please?
 on: July 25, 2019, 01:30:45 PM
One of the reasons I'll quit a game while in the game lobby is because of a raider in my team, who's toxic. As the title suggests, is it possible to create a block mechanic, to filter out players in matchmaking you don't want to play with. There's nothing worse than having players messaging you, spewing vitriol, only to find them in your team in the future. You really don't want to help these people, let alone play with.

Moreso, this game mechanic, if implemented properly, would 'clean up' the gaming community. Toxic players will find themselves being blocked so many times, eventually, the only games they'll be playing will be the solos.

Suggestions / Re: Prizes Galore Rework Suggestion
 on: July 24, 2019, 11:12:12 PM
I'd rather build 2-3 weapons for 2-3 charcters each forge level. Am I the only one who thinks that would be more fun? It would at least FEEL like you were being proactive in the game. I just hate waiting so long to forge weapons between levels. I would probably expand my character selection too if it were easier to acquire and build guns. It seems like a win/win. Give us more to do than just grind our way to a new weapon every 2-3 forge levels... that takes forever and I know I lose motivation to play. Video games are about instant gratification - Spacelords likes to prolong our gratification it seems!

They've drastically reduced everything in order to get your cash. Pre 'prizes galore' (ROTFLMFAO), on an 8hr rotation you were GUARANTEED 2 common/advanced blueprints and 1 rare. Sometimes 3 common/advanced and 2 rare. Now it's a joke! I was making over 100k gold in a day, now it's 20. MSE have wrecked their player base. I never played it when it was 'Raiders of the Broken Planet', but I have a feeling they implemented a P2W scenario, as they have here, far too quickly and their player base left.
I suspect they relaunched as Spacelords, hoping that the players had gone from RotBP, so they could attract new players and do exactly the same.

'Prizes Galore' is a joke, a complete and utter joke. They've nerfed blueprints so badly, they've essentially 'flipped the bird' at their player base. From at least 3 common/advanced and a rare BP's guaranteed, they now offer one with two chances to get, with a loss going into a final chance pot next day. They've dropped BP award by at least 400%. As for gold, faction & xp, that's been nerfed. They want people playing 5 games MAX per day (pot & 4 dailies) with the last two of those giving pretty much the same awards you got in a game pre patch.

They should be giving, at least a common/advanced BP and a rare, GUARANTEED, each day and not only that, no duplicates, unless you have all weapons for a character. BP acquisition should be the same allocation as beginning of month, score awards.

Love the amount of salt you emit, it's pretty funny that all can you do is assume I'm a 10 year old? Lol try again buddy i really don't care what you call me but if you think it makes you look or sound intelligent it more or less makes you seem immature and quite frankly sad.  i have no problem with the antagonist system, i have stated this numerous times, what i suggest is something to balance both raiders and antagonists alike.  from the options I've seen, an antagonist has way more going than a raider. for starters the infinite lives, i can see why  many antagonists kill themselves over and over again with an objective object in their hand. there is no consequences for this so they do it knowing deep down they'll keep spawning infinitely so they do it. a team of raiders don't have that luxury, instead they have to be careful. pit a team of rank 6 or 5 or 4 raiders against a purple tier level player and we know who will win that scenario.  i myself is a purple 5 tier raider, but don't go around blindly into firefights especially with an antagonist. sorry to hate on your precious antagonists but the way i see it both sides should be balanced. not one over the other as it seems.

Look, sonofoz & SergeyKosinskiy are both forum trolls who deliberately antagonise (pun intended) people. I can't believe they haven't been warned. Anyway, just ignore them. I no longer read and therefore don't reply to anything they have to state. They want you to get frustrated so that you'll get angry and get banned.
