Gameplay Feedback / Antagonist spawning

I don't play antagonist much. Whenever I do I don't really care to win. Usually just throw matches or just halfway play because its whatever. However, I do suffer from one minor thing. On some missions its fine I can spawn almost anywhere. Almost.

Missions like "Destroyer of Worlds" for example. There are only 5 spawn points and they are all on the opposite side of the raiders? I get not wanting player camp their spawn but if you are playing as Hive, Mikah, or anyone who doesn't stalk to a wall or have a giant flying death orb its hard to secure kills. Again not all missions are like this and I know this isn't the old spawn system but I feel like MSE introduced this mechanic in its early stages then just forgot about it...

Having more range on the anchor points would feel much better and give the antagonist a step up. Alternatively, you could get rid of the anchor points completely and have something similar to Doldren astral form however keeping the "Immune" time and everything else that comes with an antagonist. This way the antagonist can get the drop coming from a random spot of the map instead of being in a rough idea spot that most players (at least I) have memorized.

The character card Firmness gives him all his health back if he loses it. It can only happen every 45 seconds to 10 seconds with an aleph super boost (Rare card description). The card its self is bugged to were sometimes it still puts you in a downed state even if the UI says you have 60 health points and sometimes I find that it actives too early whenever I have half or less of my health. It is one of his better cards for antagonist play sense it basically gets rid of the fact you only have 60 health points however once you get use to CQC and using his stalk effectively Id recommend changing it to another card. Although firmness is still a good option to have in any game

Hello! Although I see your point I do believe you are over reacting. Frist off Ginebra isn't really that great of a choice for "Hanging by a Thread" anyway, however, I probably would have done the same in hopes to get her blueprint regardless of the match. No fault there.

The high level Mikah leaving, sure I get is annoying especially if it is a high mmr rating. However, being this upset by it seems a little overboard? You also didn't provide any sort of solution for them to fix this. Just a long rant about how you feel screwed over for a blueprint, that you can always try the next day for, and how mad you are at a player for leaving. Also although annoying you also have to take into account of the players life. You don't know why they left it could have been to be a troll or it could have been serious. Also to say you will leave a mission anytime you see that player in the team seems sorta hypocritical to me...Yes, you (might) be getting even with that Mikah player, but you are still punishing other players who may have that issue on a daily basis. On top of that hurting you as well sense you will most likely miss out on the rewards.

I am not saying you are in the wrong by any means, however, its just a game. If you feel as if something has seriously been done wrong to the game don't just say "F- you" and "F- this". It doesn't help. The correct way to go about it is to address the issue and give 1 to 2 suggestions on how they can make a feature or gameplay better.

Every sense Sooma's release I have came across what I can only assume is a bug. Almost every mission I join the game does a random host migration causing portions of the game to refreshing erasing all progress. I never came across this before Sooma's release and I am not the only one who has had this issue. This bug is extremely annoying especially on missions like "Mind Over Matter" because it makes the boss gain full health even whenever he is near death.

I have already made a bug report about this but considered making a post about it as well sense I feel its getting worse.

I have played around with Sooma a bit. Not much though. I found the best way to get damage from her base gun is shooting the floors and walls. It then works like a gas bomb. However the damage, even fully max forge, is still weak against everything. I feel its in the same field as the original Atlas. A buff to the area it affects and the damage then the gun will be really fun to use. Even if they don't do a damage buff adding in some sort of tick damage like a poisoning effect would be nice. Her rare is good however doesn't fit my play style all that much. Redeemer is where she shines in my opinion. Your still support and you can run and gun like any other wardog class. Ontop of that you don't really need the damage buff from her ability to feel powerful which means I can focus more on shielding vs keeping my buff up at the highest it can

I know before it says if I rent a raider I cannot build their weapons. I rented Sooma just to see her cards (and too my disappointment found I cant) became curious about the weapons. If I get ant of her blueprints will it be a waste of time or will it be unlocked whenever I buy her? Can someone please help as soon as possible sense the rent is due in 6 days now. I do plan on buying her soon anyway just curious if I can go ahead and get her blueprints while she is rented.

I feel the quickplay system is fine outside the fact that you can loose everything from a random antag who may not even be good but sense their mmr is so low the adds alone are one shooting you. I feel like raiders shouldn't be punished so harshly against an antag. Im not saying get rid of any punishment but in some cases its unfair. Like the mission "A Fistful of Sand" the antag can just play harec and flat our murder the protector or like missions "In medas res" were a valeria or ayana can lock down the door way causing no way to get through. I should feel bad for losing against an antagonist NOT absolutely furious.

In the past his infinite beast form was due to a card combination that would give him a large bit of damage resistance. However, I had this build locked so I could play infinite beast form (I only did it in training missions) and the build has not given me infinite beast form sense they fixed it so if it is still in the game there has to be a different way for it to work that I don't know about. I do believe it should be fixed even though his aim is terrible while in beast form, he can still kill anything extremely easy and is annoying to fight against if the Loaht is an antag.

Most have either quit the game entirely or are waiting for Sooma or another major change. Some hate playing games with new players and wait for their friends like I.

Hmm is 500 crit dolores really that weak? He is a bit to cqc friendly. But on other hand he really good here at closer range. Coin and dolores both can pretty much one shot wound most/all raiders. Hes long range option being nerfed couple of times now is a bit ehhhh. Idk he could get buff to his shield to drop push effect. But devs think ot would make him to strong. So nuh don't think he weak.

Doloris seems to be too close range in my opinion. I get once its fully built up it can do a lot of damage but its so close I always just use melee because im close enough to do it. Spinning coin is what I use and find it good as an antag but find it lacking in higher mmr missions. Only gun I haven't tested out in full yet is Shit happens and that's just because I have other guns I need built for raiders I actually use like Ayana's short nine

I don't exactly consider myself "endgame" but I am pretty well equipped and know most of the tricks and tips on all the raiders. Well almost all...Lycus has always caused problems. Whenever I first played I considered Alicia and Kuzmann as the weakest and most useless raiders in the game but as I grew and maxed out my level I learned it was the way I was playing them and not that they were weak I was just refusing to learn. However, Lycus I have always glossed over. I never really seen as a threat to anything in the game and therefore sorta weak or weaker than the others. I don't know if this is the same case as Alicia and Kuzmann were I am just not playing well with him or if he is just sorta weak. I have tested most of the card combos I can think of and every gun but everything seems weak to me in his kit. Can I get other's opinion to figure out if its me or if others think the same?
