Gameplay Feedback / Re: are you fkg serious ???
 on: July 04, 2019, 04:34:59 PM
My very first mission of this awfulness* was exactly the same, I was Rak in "Hanging by a Thread" with all three Lewie brothers. The level was swarmed with enemies, but still I made it to the third part, but shortly before the end I was overwhelmed by enemies.
What a mess and I do not just mean the mission!

*the new update

We can call it now "Spacelords the Limited Edition", and everyone knows Limited Editions are always more costly. LOL

Wow what a mess this is, I thought it coudn't get worse after the recent updates, I was wrong really wrong! Connection problem after connection problem like on every new update release. Then I made it into a game and I had to play with all 3 (!!!) lewie brothers and at the end I couldn't win and my first daily rewards were screwed up!

I always thought you people at MSE want people to play your game, but now with all the limitations, everyone (below lv200) stops playing when not receiving XP and rewards (or very little rewards) anymore. And again, stupid decisions, limiting daily rewards means limiting daily players? If I get no or only a few rewards, then it makes no sense to continue playing, right?

Ok now we have limited lifes, limited ammo, limited gold, limited talent points limited xp and limited blueprints (they can be found only in the monthly rewards, seriously???). Pretty much every aspect of the game is limited now exept aleph, but for god's sake we have that "super chicken run" drop mechanic.

I'll turn off the game and rest my head in the palms of my hands.

But the bad thing about the new Aleph system is exactly the "picking it up" manually and running around in circles like a headless chicken to obtain the aleph, and exactly that remains in the game, oh boy?? *sigh*

They should generally focus more on content and not on stupidities like limited ammo drops, awful aleph drops, sudden death timers, removing player's levels, shortening wounded states, …
Man, they got so many things wrong the last few updates, it's unbelievable! With all these stupid features, they'll be scaring off more players than gaining new ones!
Everything needs time, I understand, but everyone probably wouldn't have enough resources if they were wasted on such annoying features nobody wanted and asked for.

If it's not broken, don't fix it! But maybe I got this quote wrong?

Gameplay Feedback / Re: LEVEL Reminder
 on: June 24, 2019, 02:58:12 PM
I can understand, if MSE doesn't want the level to appear ingame. But why not in the main menu, as it was before the update. Thus, from level 200, they could completely hide the level bar, because from that point on this thing is completely meaningless. MSE could just as well for example show the weather report for your region that would make more sense.

If somebody has to endure all the crappy mechanics of the latest updates, then at least give me back my hard earned level. The 2nd of July would be a good date for that.

… About 4vs1 being only gamemode.... Dead by Daylight somehow works only with it from the start.

Yes, but these two games are a bit different. In Dead by Daylight it's the survivors vs the killer, and that's the whole story behind it, you can't leave out the killer, because then there wouldn't be much left of the game. Because the main objective is the survivors vs the killer.

But that's not the case in Spacelords. In Spacelords it's different, you can very well take the Antag out of the game and the game will still work. Because in Spacelords the main reason is not to fight the Antag (as in Dead by Daylight, fighting the killer), but to play and experience the story (pve).

The Antag is just another component in the game, which you can put into the game, but also remove it again. The game will work in both ways. Thus, different game modes would have been possible from the beginning.

Well, as I said, now of course this is a fatal situation in which MSE is in right now, but it's also their own fault, because they ignored this topic (different modes for different players) since the beginning and they were too fixated on this 4v1 mode.
And as I said, if you only offer a 4v1 mode in an online multiplayer game, this will not and can not work in the longterm  —  because people are different.

New mode are all nice and good, but you guys DO understand that it will only leave us with worse que time? ppl who que for horde mode, dont wanna play base game, so they will not accept base game que pop. Or this will just leave them all hanging and waiting for god know why.
And that on top of, similar MMR or decent ping that game try to give us.
Basically its nice idea, but we just dont have enough ppl to support more buckets.

Yes, and why is that?
Because they did it wrong since the beginning. You just need choices in a game because players are different. You can't come up with just one mode, if it's your vision or not, it will not work. Look at all the other MMO's or multiplayer games out there, even Blizzard/Overwatch was forced to offer a PVE mode (and they have millions of players).
Maybe it's already too late now, but what do they have to lose?

… I still love the game as is, but a new mode would be welcomed.

New modes and such was all suggested months ago, but MSE unfortunately is not interested. They prefer to use their limited resources to complicate the game and to artificially increase the grind, … um … sorry, I should've said to make the game more accesible.

… We're evolving the system into something more accessible yet featuring a wider range of playable possibilities.

More accessible!?? I would say if you compare the aleph-drop-mechanic then and now, I would say it was waaaay more accessible then, as it is now!

You can not make it more accessible if the player already obtained the aleph automatically, the only thing you could have done better is just dropping the excess.

it seems players liked the previous gameplay regarding aleph, so why will you take risk to add new things to modify smthg they don't like whereas you can just put the old loved one ?
(except because you want to keep going with your agenda and your vision of the game)

Most likely, they use the new aleph-drop-mechanic and the timers to complicate the game frustratingly and thereby artificially increase the grind. But that's a risky business, because I think they loose more players than they gain with these new mechanics.

I can clearly say that I've played a lot less since the last few updates, because I just don't enjoy it as much as before the updates.

And about their vision - their vision (e.g. gameplay mechanics etc.) is worth nothing if NO one (or only a few) likes it, but as we have seen so many times, I guess they are too stubborn to see that.  :'(
