… since I always see ppl overusing it and ignoring their weapon, now I guess there’s no choice.

We always laugh about the Baby Harecs and Lycus who are trying to melee attack Dr. Kuzmann (In Shock), well, then I guess we have no choice either but to melee him ourselfs. Whether it helps or not *LOL*!

The way it is now engineers drop nothing, normal soldiers drop small packs and occasionally those ammo crates, and elites is unchanged. I have a bad feeling it's not a bug.

Uras' acolytes always dropped ammo on the thousands so I don't think it's abnormal behaviour there.

Come on MSE, gimme a break! It always used to be one step forward and two steps back with the previous updates. These days, it's not even half a step forward, but certainly five steps back.
With all those #&%? descisions, e.g removed the leveling, aleph drops, ammo drops, raiders life limit an now limiting ammo???
What's next maybe a five minute time limit in each mission, at least you do not need to worry about to long lasting games anymore!
Oh Boy, my interest in the game is dwindling day by day!

Yes I was also wondering, I experienced this yesterday with Alicia (but I played only one match, because of connection issues), most of the time I got only three or four bullets at a time (!!!). Please let this be just a bug, and not one of MSE's new forgettable features (except the new communication feature all others are unfortunately for the bin).

That is where I got the idea from. Symmetra is my favorite character in Overwatch. I thought using this idea in Spacelords would help out the team a bit. Obvilously not stealing the idea because the traps wouldn't do any damage just hold them in place. I see it as a combination of Ayana's wire and Symmetra's turrents.

It's okay, keep it up. MSE reads everything here in the forum.

Well, I can't really play today, the game is constantly losing the server connection.

"The connection to the mercurysteam servers was lost"

I reconnect - it works for a minute or two - and again and again and again …
Never had these issues befor the update.

If you want to avoid these long games so much, why are games with successfully survived "survival phases" rewarded better, then? This makes no sense, to me???

Should be the other way round:
no survival phase reached = less life consumed = better rewards

… the Sudden Death feature is …  actually more "useful" when it comes to PvE matches.
… avoiding Suvive phases in PvE is usually a more trivial thing, so matches may become excessively long. The new Sudden Death phase should tackle the problem of having excessively long matches …

Okay you shorten the games, but at what cost, now if I ran out of all survival phases/ lives I have to loose, but with unlimited survival phases maybe I could have had a win!
I prefer a longer game with a victory at the end rather than a shorter one with a loss at the end. It breaks my win streak and with a loss at the end you always get less rewards than with a win at the end (wouldn't make sense otherwise). No matter if it was a long or short game.

It's a good thing for MSE, because with this new update, (most likely) every Raider will lose more often in games and that will lengthen the grind. I don't like this new direction (Forcing antag play with the new Adventure mode, now even the raiders lifes are limited and don't forget the aweful Aleph drops), but unfortunately that's how it is!  :(

Maybe I should take a closer look at Dauntless.

Really not liking this new direction.
So, MSE if you are so eager to push antag games even further (and drive off even more PVE players) and run Spacelords totally aground then here are a few suggestions to speed up this process (Of course, the fastest way to accomplish this would be to integrate all at once.):

The Antag can spawn everywhere at mission start
The Antag spawns with 5 aleph
The Antag is immortal
The Antag has unlimited ammo
The Antag doesn't need to reload
The Antag's special ability is always available
The Antag can equip 2 additional cards (4 in total)
And last but not least, games without an Antag, gives no rewards.

Good luck!

But of course you could also integrate more meaningful features into the game, e.g. to revise the card system (which has been demanded for ages), buff the old man in fist full of sand (is also demanded for ages), an improved cutscene skip function, … … …

I have strong doubts that this will contribute to the improvement of the game.

Please don't do that, this will totally ruin the solo queue, because if you get teamed up with a bunch of newbies (and that happens quite often), who burn up all team-life, someone has very little chance (or no chance at all) of carrying the game!!

Oh boy, I have to say I'm very disappointed what happens in the recent updates - Aleph drops, now this …  :o ???

Try a disco ball, or maybe the radar or aleph drops will help? No, well then you're screwed.
