Our position in this topic is very clear, any voluntary behavior that harms other players' experience will be punished, with bans.

Well, i have this little problem.

Sometimes when i gonna start a match, one "Antagonist" appear, kill all the team and i lose mi rewards.

Other times, i queue to obtain a Blueprint, and this "Antagonist" appears again, kill us all and i have to repeat the match to try to win a Blueprint.

Also other times i fight this "Antagonist" and win the match, but the struggles and extra time he make us spend make the score go down, with that we have less % to win the Blueprint and inevitably i lose the Blueprint.

I am not an expert but... isnt that a "voluntary behavior that harms other players' experience"??

Or that is limited to suicides and disconnects?

I've had a match recently, which ended in a loss, because the Host was in Peru, and everyone else on the team had >999ms and couldn't even move.

An option to change Hosts would have prevented this. I'm not quite sure why the game even picked him to be the Host in the first place.

As long as forced PvP exist then so will instant surrenders, suisiding, feedin and disconnecting. Simple fact, there isn't any way around this. The quicker PvEers get get out of a antag game the quicker they can go back to making rewards again in this already trickling reward system. Antagonists are SO aggrivating and a total waste of time, there is no incentive to engage.

I'm so sorry to tell you wonderfully creative devs, this is not going to change. It just won't.

EDIT: Well no point in sulking about it. There has to be some preventative plan on my part. So I pose a question for those who are antagonists, not a mean one. What missions do you queue for the most? Or better yet, what missions favor antagonists the most? Some of us want to know what to NEVER queue for if we can help it. It would be useful information for many of us.

Edit: So here is what I got so far (DO NOT QUEUE FOR THESE MISSIONS AS A RAIDER IF YOOU WANT TO PROGRESS IN THE GAME!!):

1. Fistful of San: because of the MASSIVE failure of MSE, the antagonists DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO ENGAGE THE RAIDER!!!! It's a free handout for antags, they just have to kill the fragile fucking old man. They need to give him about 5 times more health. We were kicking the shit out of this Shae and she ignired us and just killed the old man WITH EASE!!! (and I like this missions. Shame the antagonists dictate what missions I can choose. GREAT SYSTEM!!!)

Will update this list as feedback comes in.

First of all im just going to say that the antag system shouldn't change because it's one thing that defines this game and the argument that it makes new players not wanna play is complety absurd because when i started playing the game when it first launched and lost to an antag was fine to me not one time did i ever have the thought of me downloading a game just to delete it for losing some games when i had just started playing it also if your quitting games just because theirs an antag in your game should be a bannable offence if you do it often and you may have not learned this but when theirs an antag in your game it makes every single mission have less enemies and makes them and the bosses weaker with some systems overloading faster. If you see yourself constantly losing to antags maybe your not grouping up with your team because most of the times its always 1 or 2 people walking around by themselves which cost you guys a lot of lives

You know... just reading this responses makes me more relaxed.

Reading that kind of arguments "I don't uninstall the game for losing against an antagonist and that is an absolute proof that nobody is leaving the game because everyone are just like me"


Yet Spacelords go free to play to save the game.

Good thing is the game have more players now... at least on consoles and maybe on Microsoft store, because on steam... well...

Man... This game... I don't know anymore. Once you get max forge and the majority if not all your bloops unlocked, what else is left to do? Not much reason for us vets to keep playing. Other than to help others as mentor I guess. Not that many of us here seem to be ok with that. I like the xbox community. They seem to complain the least and just wanna have a good time. Not all of course!! I'm just gonna say cause I feel compelled to... If you're a quitter, suicider, whiner, I do not want to play with you. You should play a different game in my opinion. I don't Antag at all anymore and losing obviously isn't what any one is here for but still. We all knew the game was 4v1 going in. Why can't people stop trying to ruin this game? It is what it is. Its gotten much worse in my opinion since the Spacelords change but the core of it is still there. If ya just wanna fight npc's all day everyday I'm pretty sure Halo5 has that. I enjoy the added challenge once in a while. And you all know if there was a choice, almost no one would ever play against an Antag. I would so I know some others may but the majority can't seem to handle it. By the way I have spent over $100 on this wonderful game and all I can really complain about is all the complaints lol

I'm relaxed


When an antagonist invade the match i just "alt + F4" and relax watching tv, eating something or playing something else.
15 to 20 minutes later i open the game, "Oh my god, i'm "penalized" for leaving", i just alt + tab and continue watching tv, eating something or playing other game for 5 - 10 minutes.
Alt + tab again to return to the game, and start again.

"Oh but you are affecting the other 3 players by leaving them alone with the antagonist"
They choose to stay and fight, not my problem, i play to have fun and is not fun for me to fight against an antagonist.

But yeah its ok that are people who like playing antagonist, i am not against them, they are just playing what they like, just like us the raiders, but i choose to not play pvp so i alt + F4, thing i would not do if there were an option to not play against antagonist.

Nah, "my face is tired" of hyping about new patches that comes with 3 good things and one "game breaking" thing that ruin the other 3 things.

Just started playing the game it is an interesting game. Issues I am having is the peer to peer servers. Seems people are always disconnected and/or the match is switching to another host. Has there been any word on plans for dedicated server? It doesnt much feel like it's worth my time to play when it's just load screens or missing players. With breach being the same thing it wouldn't be worth spending a dime on this game.

I just got Earthing yesterday. I freaked out so much when I saw a common BP. I prayed to my Weirwood Tree, the Old gods and the Seven for their blessings and then formed a team and wore my anti Antagonists Garlic around my neck and jumped into the mission with Valeria and got Earhing.

I think it's better than her other weapons but has a steaper learning curve but higher potential ceiling then the rest, because it's cool down is INSANELY low and you can get multiple explosions from one orb, and you can actually SEE where it is on the map more accurately because it has an electric bolt that touches the ground that it passes over so you can tell where the orb is in three dimensional space better than Little Girl. The explosion is smaller, but if you can aim with it it pays off and you can get more use from it since the cool down is so low compared to her other two weapons. also, Little Girls normal fire is the worst of all three, Whip being the best with it's constant rapid criting laser fire. But Earthing has a vertical three stacked laser on a lower rate of fire but does great damage on close to mid range hitting one target with three shots at once each doing 25 to 50 damage.

i am going to stick with it and try to master it. The Cool down and guiding lightning bold and the tipple beams is too good to pass up.


I like Whip

The majority of time you are surrounded by mobs, you don't have time to place a portal to kill all the mobs around you, maybe to kill one side of mobs but with the small range of explossion you will get shoot to death before you place another portal.

With Whip you just call the octopus lord and kill all the mobs around you.

Yes it have more cool down but you can place the portal where you can grab more kills.

But this is subjetive and depends on the play style of every person, maybe Earthing suits more your playing style, i like the triple shoot, but at higer lvl mobs you cant kill fast enought with the weapon and the small radius of explosion is not very effective.

But if you like it go for it, maybe you can make it work very well.

OR!....you could just leave everything as it is now and make PvP optional.
I don't think they will do that.

I remember on the page "Patch Notes 10" they added a paragraph, i don't remember exactly the words but was something like: "antagonist is a key feature", "Without antagonist the game will lose its uniquenes", "We dont gonna take off the invasions"

Dont bother searching for it, the paragraph was deleted. Was betwen the Mikah image and the  "What's new:"

In that moment i feel so dissapointed that i forgot to take a screenshot, now i am trying on pages that show you how were the pages on the past so i can take a screenshot of the paragraph, but no succeed...

The question is: Why they delete that paragraph?

Maybe they are thinking on making the antagonist optional and are arguing internally.

Something like:

--"We need to make the antagonist optional, the people who like being invaded are so little that our game is dying"

--"No! the invasions will remain, the game needs to be unique, no matter if the game never succeeds, we will die in our uniqueness!"

Off topic: Its "uniqueness" a word or google translate is trolling me?

There's plenty of players above level 100 and beyond. Unfortunately it's that level demographic that has been hit the hardest with the new rotational reward systems, so we have been playing a lot less. I only get on now if I happen to see a common blueprint (which happens VERY rarely) or if I want to play antag.

From what i have read from different posts, it seems that at lvl 100 you will almost never see again a common blueprint.

I guess i should start collecting common blueprints now before the apocalipsis begins.

And dont built any common weapon until i hit the maximum forge level.

I am lvl 98.

No matter how "subtle" is the augment, you are paying for something to have an advantage over a free player who dont spend money.

So yes, its pay to win.

Similar to the suits of Black Desert, and that game IS pay to win.
