Don't doubt about you are doing a great job and your criteria on game & meta dynamics, I left my comment "just in case" to give as much feedback as possible to help make this game a success. I am aware of the initial planement and that this beta won't be exactly as the upcoming release, and that mathcmaking will be more balanced due tu players ranked skill level. But I thought leaving my comment won't hurt.. 
Anyway, insisting on this subject, I think it will be a good idea (If not already planned) to don't force to play against antagonist a player that didn't yet succesfully complete that mission, to easier the entrance level and learning curve, if you watch a bunch of videos from this weekend in youtube, all newbies had hard times to spot the objectives at first, so the antagonist just make it a lot more difficult. In the same way, a player shouldn't be able to play as antagonist if he didn't complete that mission as a Raider, because how is he supposed to protect the objectives if he don't know them.
<Tl;TR> I think it's vital newbies don't become afraid in the first two matches, because when they catch the game, they will be Raiders forever, I know, and you know
