This update is focused on rebalancing some missions and characters to accommodate the new content we have released since the Wardog Fury campaign launched - Including new characters, weapons and Cards. V.07 also serves as a bridge to a major update we are working on, that will radically change the Raiders of the Broken Planet’s progression and economy system, and includes one big change that we will announce by the end of the week.

We expect V.07 to go live by the end of the week, once the First Party submission process has gone its way - we’ll announce it via all our social media channels. In the meantime, let’s have an in-depth look to the different tweaks and rebalancing included in the update.

The design team is quite happy with the new characters’ performance and how they have been integrated into the game’s ongoing ecosystem. However, we have detected significant differences on some missions: some are too easy to beat, while others have a very low victory rate. We've have analyzed where those defeats occur and moved difficulty spikes towards mission parts that are deeper or more interesting to play.



Missions

In Shock

- Increased enemy spawn rate during the first phase (10-15%).

- Rebalanced some values of Shae's electrocution.

- Increased Dr. Kuzmann's life when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Increased Dr. Kuzmann's Tesla ground attack damage (10%).

- Increased number of enemies per spawn on Dr. Kuzmann combat (+1)


A Breath of Hope

- Decreased the number of Aleph charges needed on first monolith when playing against an Antagonist.

- Decreased the number of Aleph charges needed on second monolith.

- Increased the number of Aleph charges needed on third monolith.

- Increased the waiting time on monoliths when not playing against an Antagonist (10%)

- Increased enemy spawn rate during the monolith phases (10%-15%).

- Increased bonus enemy spawn on Survival phases when not playing against an Antagonist (20%).

- Increased Guardian regeneration when playing against an Antagonist (5%).


A Fistful of Sand

- Increased enemy spawn rate during the first phase when not playing against an Antagonist (7%).

- Decreased the Protector's shield (10%).

- Increased the Protector's life (5%).

- Decreased the number of enemies spawned when you find the Protector (-1).

The Enemy Within

- Increased enemy spawn rate during the first phase when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Increased Drone life when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Reduced Drone spawn rate when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Reduced Council's progress bar speed when not playing against an Antagonist (10%).

- Reduced Uras-Beherit life when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Reduced the number of Aleph charges needed to activate the Uras-Beherit when not playing against an Antagonist (-1).

- Increased the amount of time the Uras-Beherit stays activated when not playing against an antagonist (10%).

- Reduced the number of enemies at the first phase initial spawn when playing against an Antagonist (-1).

- Increased enemy spawn rate when playing against an Antagonist (10%).

- Reduced Drone life when playing against an Antagonist (5%).


Short-Fused

- Reduced Loaht's house resistance when not playing against an Antagonist (10%).

- Reduced enemy spawn rate during the second phase when not playing against an Antagonist (5%).

- Reduced the number of enemies at the second phase's initial spawn when playing against an Antagonist (-1)


No Reservations

- Reduced waiting time at the bridges (-5s).

- Reduced enemy spawn rate during the second convoy (5%).

- Reduced enemy spawn rate during the third convoy when not playing against an Antagonist (20%).

- Reduced enemy spawn rate during the third convoy when playing against an Antagonist (10%).

- Increased fart duration by 10%. (I love my job)

- Reduced firing rate of Wardog gunship during third convoy.

- Increased duration of the final phase (10%).

A Weapon from The Past

- Increased the Drone's life (5%).

- Increased the Drone shield's turning speed (5-10%).

- Decreased Lyras' Sphere speed bar (15%).

- Increased enemy spawn rate during second phase (10-15%).

- Increased engineer spawn rate (5%).


The Beast’s Lair

- Increased enemy spawn rate during first phase (10%).

- Decreased the number of enemies during the escape from the first phase.

- Increased enemy spawn rate during Marmalade's first phase when not playing against an Antagonist (20%).

- Increased enemy spawn rate during Marmalade's first phase when playing against an Antagonist (15%).

- Increased Marmalade's damage (15%).

- Decreased the number of enemies per wave during Marmalade's final phase when not playing against an Antagonist (-1).

- Decreased enemy spawn rate during Marmalade's final phase when not playing against an Antagonist (10%).

- Decreased the Aleph charges needed during Marmalade's final phase when not playing against an Antagonist (-2).

- Decreased engineer spawn rate during Marmalade's final phase (30%)


Characters

Harec

- Decreased Stalk's target acquisition time (-20%).

- Increased Stalk's flying back speed when wounded (roughly +10%).


Hans

- Increased Heaven's Bane K8's projectile speed (+45%).

- Decreased Heaven's Bane K8's regular projectile explosion radius (-10%).

- Increased Heaven's Bane K8's final projectile explosion radius (+5%).

- Decreased Ansgar "Warm" MM1's damage (-15%).


Lycus

- Increased the kinetic Shield's capacity (+5%)

- Increased the kinetic Shield's recharge speed (+7%)

- Decreased Shit Happens's damage (-5%)


Alicia

- Walljump flotation lasts longer (roughly +15%)


Dr. Kuzmann

- Increased Light Horizons's healing power (+33%).

- Increased Light Horizons's damage (+5%).


Ginebra

- Increased Javelin Ursa M-02's time between shots (+10%).

- Decreased Javelin Ursa M-02's tension chargrup speed (+20%).


Loaht

- Increased Bubble Gum's time between shots (+50%).

- Decreased Bubble Gum's ammo clip (from 5 to 4).


Iune

- Decreased Last Wish's Aleph pressure chargeup speed (-20%).

- Increased The Vortex's Aleph pressure chargeup speed (+15%).


Cards

Iune

- Increased Munificent's cooldown boost (roughly +20%).

- Decreased Angelic's cooldown boost (roughly -15%).


"CrashDumps"

We have also included a new feature for the Steam version of the game to facilitate bug tracking. Now, the game will automatically save only the latest incidence, making it easier to track down when necessary and avoiding accumulating unnecessary data.

The path where the data is stored in is: "Documents\MercurySteam\Raiders of the Broken Planet\<steam-id>\CrashDumps

sounds like a lot of good changes for when you have to antagonist, but also some good stuff for raiders too if your solid team, that is.
I'm real happy to see changes for The Enemy Within. They look really good. that was my personal most hated mission.

Hi guys,

This patch will arrive today to Xbox One and Windows 10 and it solves the following issues:

-   Various minor bugs have been corrected.
-   Fixed a bug associated to the Russian tooltips.
-   Solved a bug that doubled damage when shooting to enemies in Wounded state.
-   Several functionality fixes have been implemented.
-   General improvements to the game’s stability have been applied.
