Suggestions / Re: Alicia's double jump needs a cooldown
 on: October 08, 2019, 06:59:44 PM
Oh c'mone man ,dear Quanrian no reson said dat bullshit about how easy to counter Alicia and how Hans is Op,-Your character is safe bcs poor develorers from MSE will never be able to into a ballance in their PvP game:)
Say hello To Harek And his Rertarded walljump and back from Alpha to Atm.They not care about thing like those.
So u can continue fly and press buttons forever; Most players play on consoles and they never abble to deal with "your playstyle" not matter what they pick.

It won't matter anymore
Her rock and roll got nerfed
And he smoaking daisy's explosion got nerfed to dust

Having a little jump gimmick is all she has now
I mean we are here while ginebra is suffering every single day...

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Time to wait 15 days for sassy

One guy create post oct 2nd and write:
"The weapon crafting system is actually very generous, the right gold with the right wait times, very well done on that"
I not remember nickname but somethink familiar xD

I was referring to the WEAPON crafting
The card system is so scammy

You pay more gold, more talent points and wait even more time to get the card you want

Is that amount of time justifiable?
And that only one card
Plus why can't we cancel a craft

I have 5 stuff taking days and weeks to craft
It really gives me no reason to play more

64
The weapon crafting system is actually very generous, the right gold with the right wait times, very well done on that

But like i said the talent system is way too expensive
If toy don't want to rush you have to wait more that 10 days to get the card you want, or pay thousands of talent points that you never get on a normal mission

I know we have to grind, but it's literally impossible
Please do something about it

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Card system feedback

I agree, I love the new system even the destroying of old cards to get a new one which a lot of people dislike. However, the rush time cost is insane. A raider's max cost is 180k so why are the cards 200k+? A card shouldn't cost more than a raider. The wait period is extremely long to. As someone who played Warframe the wait period was annoying but to my knowledge nothing was longer than 2 to 3 days and it felt like that was understandable. I still wanted to rush it but I knew in the long run I didn't have to wait that long.

That being said it is a new system and I expect MSE will make changes later, I just hope they don't make it too easy because then new players will never experiment with cards and just go for what the community says is the best cards to use.

All i'm suggestion is a cap on the wait times
A cap on the gold and talent points

And buff the last mission reward drops
Making two pluses instead of one on every reward

You are so close  so close to perfection
But the new card systems suffers a lot

There is no way in hell we're making enough gold or talen points to pay for some of these cards

And having to wait literally more than 10 days for a card is so cruel

MSE do you want us to play your game?

The max amout of wait time should not surpass 3 days
You should also buff the replayable mission to have 2 pluses on all rewards

That way it's a lot easier to farm these golds

The system is great, the prices are unfair
Amd it doesn't help when we gain so little

I agree. I'm unable to play her properly. She lacks damage, when she's mobile she is defenseless. In my opinion, she needs a redo.
However I'm not sure, that there aren't people who can play her better than I do.

She's a fifth council, she's supposed to stay in a specific location kill enemies from far then sprint with her power to finish them off, but it never ever works, all fifth council memeber have CC and damage in their arsenal, ginebra can either bring CC or damage, and her damage options aren't that great

These suggested changes that i've stated will make her a more offensive character

But i'm not really a dev so i can't say for certain they'd be balanced changes
Who knows?

Everytime i try ginebra, it never works properly
The playstyle i mean

She's supposed to be a predator/ hunter with high speed but her 1 second transition time is enough for players to recover and retaliate
And enough for all ads to melt you to little sparks of aleph

You have to bring a specific weapon for specific situations, while that's fine, but it's very detrimental when you bring the wrong weapon to the wrong mission

Javelin sucks, really really sucks, even at long range

She's underpowered, overnerfed and unusable

I suggested many changes but the best one i could come up with is to...

1.make the transformation to cougar form 1 second and the transformation to normal form instant, basically reverse the transformation process

2.when she comes out of her form she gains her missing health instantly

3.give her a new rare that's adaptable to all situations, or interacts with her cougar form

Maybe add a cat wall jump when climbing and pressing the jump button for the fun factor and to cancel the climb, but it won't matter that much

Gameplay Feedback / Re: My opinion on infinite ammo
 on: September 25, 2019, 01:45:44 PM
I appreciate the response, but what makes the game most inaccessible for new players was not the aleph.  It was the passives/poor matchmaking (getting matched with veteran antags as a noob raider), and confusing inconsistent MMR.

Yes I agree, getting aleph from the elites did feel magical.  New COD is coming out soon and is going suck players from ALL other games, including spacelords.  I tried the beta and it felt amazing, even though I don't really like those mindless no-strategy type of games.  If I was you I'd make my experimentation decisions and all prioritization decisions wisely, as this will be a new and powerful dynamic in the gaming business (Black Ops 4 was a huge letdown, there is a big hunger for new COD).

This is coming from someone who would like to see spacelords reach it's maximum potential.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your advice. :)

Accessibility is a global issue that's not related to a single element in the game, but to several different ones (control, tutorial, Aleph & ammo management, gunplay, melee..etc.).
That's one of the reasons why, as you suggested, we are also removing player level-tied passives from the game and have been working on improving matchmaking as well.

Since you're going to remove level passives, any plan on reducing the MMR difficulty since we won't be as resilient as before? (That if we were resilient enough to survive past 40% MMr)

Gameplay Feedback / Re: My opinion on infinite ammo
 on: September 25, 2019, 11:09:07 AM
Is the Melee CQC fixed yet?  I was watching streamers and it looked like there was lots of problems the last few months.

The Ammo and Aleph should reverted to pre identity update, with the caveat of dropping the aleph gem if you already have a 5 stack.  I think that's what most players want.  To this day no one has given me an explanation why it had to be changed, other than "to experiment," which is bad answer, because in this stage of the game they should be conservative and stick with what they know people like, and discard what people don't.  There's is no time left to turn people off or acquire bad reputations.

The Heavy Metal udpate includes several latency-related CQC bug fixes.

When it comes to Aleph drops, HM will feature an improved drop positioning algorithm so that it's easier see the gems that fall off a character after killing him/her. We've also been fixing post-finisher invulnerability times, so that players have a safe time margin within they're able to grab the Gem.

While experimentation is always important during a development, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a blind, aimless experimentation:
- Aleph drops let us make the whole Aleph overloads management more accessible for new players by giving it a visual representation in the physical word instead of being a HUD-only feature. The tutorial we added to the game clearly shows that.
- Aleph overloads' visual presence in the world also lets us to provide Gems to the players in new, alternative ways, such as the Aleph Natural deposits.
The HM update also features a cool gameplay plot-twist on the feature, letting players use Aleph Gems as grenades (Gemnades is such a cool name) in a much more fun and controllable fashion.

That said, we're currently working on trying to bring the old "elite-hunt-for-Aleph" gameplay dynamics, since some people in the community miss those magical moments that got lost on the way. We'll try to have it ready before the EF patch gets released, but it's still a bit early to tell.

This is unrelated but i'm so happy that you guys show us that you constantly look at feedback and reply to us always
So thank you for that
I hope you Never change this part of the community <3

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Tarasque needs minor improvements
 on: September 21, 2019, 12:05:15 AM
I agree, also maybe increase the damage just a tad bit more would be great!
Being a crit weapon damage is actually fine with me
It's the way the shot spread to flames is the problem
It's not viable in either PVE or PVP

Gameplay Feedback / Tarasque needs minor improvements

The fire carpet spread is really really slow
Making it hard to land a shot when everything moves so quickly.
Firing rate might need a slight buff as well.

Gameplay Feedback / My opinion on infinite ammo
 on: September 20, 2019, 01:25:10 AM
In my opinion i think it's unnecessary,
As a RAIDER that is...
One of the things i love about this game is having to run out of ammo...and thinking "oh shute i need to be careful, to get some more"
Having infinite ammo feels so lazy and boring

Raiders are supposed to be on a singular mission, their resources are limited and they're outnumbered...

As for antagonists they're supposed to be fully prepared for battle, and equipped with excess ammo
So either make this infinite ammo option for antagonists only
Or drop ammo on specific platforms like the current aleph system

i hope you see this :)

74
Look, i can't lie...i really enjoy when there's a friendly antagonist in my game...having fun, emoting...or hilariously helping us complete the mission
But when there's an unfriendly squad mate however...
You see..stakes are higher when you're the raider, antagonist don't have a lot to loose because they can expect to loose a lot

So i can understand having an antagonist who just wants to have fun and take a break from constant tension

But having a player raider who deliberately sabotages the mission is unacceptable
How does they sabotage it?
By carrying an objective and running away from it (the bombs at beast's lair for example)
Or by giving the antagonist aleph :/

It's fun i understand...but i also feel bad for the players who loose everything they've accumulated from past missions just because someone didn't want to play according to plan

Is the answer a kick option? Absolutely not
Kick buttons can only bring more trouble from people who aren't happy with their teams

I have a not very simple idea
Report mission button
When you report the mission the last few minutes before the report gets recorded

Then one of the teams review the recorded bit and see if there's something unusual
And then they decide on what to do

This can easily help record a bug(there is none but you never know)

Suggestions / Re: An option for the heavy metal update
 on: September 16, 2019, 10:22:59 PM
Would it be ok if we can choose 2 faction cards or 2 character cards instead of 1 faction and 1 character?

But you can't use the same card or even the card with the same side
You have to choose 1 antag card and 1 raider card
And to balance it even more 5 stacks of aleph buffs only 1 card from the same deck, the first card you chose, and it won't buff the second one

Thoughts?

When the Heavy Metal update kicks in you'll still only be able to equip a single faction card and a single character card during a given match.

On the other hand, you'll be able to unlock all the cards in the deck if you want to, so that you can chose whichever you want and assign it to a loadout. No RNG/rerolls involved.

Unlocking talent cards will be possible by spending either:
-Talent points
-Gold
-Talent points + Gold
-For free

That sounds perfect!
I honestly can't wait :D
