I wouldn't be surprised if on the next update you have to collect aleph and give it to cortez just to revive your team lol.

Next update:
You have to kill elite enemies to grab aleph shards, after you get 4 shards you need to go to a specific point on the map and stand still for 5 seconds to get 1 complete aleph cystal, the aleph spots randomly change with time.

You can't get ammo from enemies, instead, everytime you defeat an enemy you get an amount of points depending on the foe, with those points you can order Cortez to give you an airdrop, you need to stand still for 5 seconds to open the crate and get your ammunition.
Ps: Antags can steal it, so be quick!
Ps 2: Antagonists open the crate instantly, because playing antag is super hard, you gais!

It's only going to get worst with the master of puppets update. We'll probably end up with antags in every match due to the heavy emphasis this update has on the antagonist game mode. Now that aleph will be so rare all antags really need to do is get rid of any aleph they get their hands on and it will drastically slow down the raider's mission progress.

Imagine if they triple the antagonist rewards. This sounds so insane and horrible MSE may actually take it into consideration.

No one, in their right mind is going to play as an Antagonist on their pot and dailies.

And they shouldn't, you're already playing the "troll mode", the chance of messing someone's game should be satisfaction enough for you.

You gain nothing for fighting an antagonist, the last thing we need is more reasons for people to play this stupid mode.

not telling this for you, but i just end a game with a guy like that.)

I would like a "fuck off" command. Sometimes players stay too close to each other, most of the times to steal your aleph and ammo.

On of the changes we'll be introducing in the Master of Puppets update (due to release on July 29) is that you'll get a much higher % probability bonus of getting a Blueprint if you lost the previous die roll.

I think the problem is that veteran players have to succeed in 3 RNGs to get a rare weapon they want, 33% for the blueprint, 50% for the wanted weapon(in Ayana's case) and the score roll in the end of the mission.

What I'm saying is that it doesn't matter if the chance of getting the weapon in the end of the mission is 500%, if it's just another duplicate. Unless you're stating we'll have a higher chance to get a different weapon from the one we got previously.

Lowering my MMR isn't a problem. In doing so I'll not make matches harder when matchmaking lumps me in a game with T2 R6 and unranked teams.
With the prizes galore, all awards are the same regardless of MMR rating.
Lowering MMR is good because if a high ranked antagonist invades you chances are their MMR is also high, which will make the mission difficulty lower. It's way easier to counter an antag if you don't need to worry about mobs.

P.S. The daily pot is irrelevent. There's no guarantee of winning it and losses are far more likely with the dreadful matchmaking and antagonist thrown in. On average I've probably got 7-10k in it. If I lose, with bounty weapon equipped, I'll probably get a third to a half back.
The chances that you'll get robbed of your rewards are there but the chance of getting 8k in one match makes it far from irrelevant.

I was in another, usual, 2x T2 R6 and a T2 R5 on final 5th Council mission. No Alien faction teammates and BOOM in comes a T1 R1 antagonist. The game started and it was Alicia. NO WAY ON THIS EARTH was I going to be target practice for her and able to do diddly squat to combat her. It's a maze. Plenty of obstacles to keep her airborne while she reigns death down. I proposed a surrender. They chose play on and I instantly quit. It wouldn't matter if the match level was 100 or 10, as they'd lost the minute the Antag was revealed. I went off and read a book. I checked back about 6 minutes later and I was in a game penalty. Either Alicia had destroyed them or they'd seen sense and surrendered. Nothing I could have done to combat her.
Until MSE sort out their utterly attrocious matchmaking, I will continue quitting bad matchups. This is my only form of protest. I'm sick & tired of going into missions with players 150 levels below me.
What if one of those people were trying to get a blueprint? Will they get screwed just because you're affraid of trying playing the game? Which character did you chose by the way? Why are you queuing for a hard match in "Mind Over Matter", or any 5th Council stage, if you'll quit in the first sign of challenge?

When a game is lost it's lost. Take today for example. Excluding dailies I played about 10. Of those I quit about 5.
You're a bad loser. Can't win every game, you should know this by now.

I've nearly got all characters and soon my platinum after that. When that happens I'll be deleting Spacelords for good.
Cool, hope you're getting it as soon as possible.

I don't quit dailies. I will pretty much 90% of the rest though. Why? As stated before bad MMR, terrible teams who run around like chickens and red server connections.

They made the dailies and pot to PURPOSEFULLY stop people from quitting. But now with a low player pool, MMR is a joke and there will be more quitting.

I play this game SOLELY for my enjoyment. Yes I am selfish and? Having to play with noobs, who don't follow orders, in grossly unfair matchmaking and at times, red connections IS NOT MY IDEA OF FUN.

Why do you quit matches that aren't daily or pots? Even if you lose them the gold difference will still go to the pot, and your MMR will lower too, so it will make the upcoming matches easier.

I understand the situation since I lost thousands of gold in pot and daily matches by either players who didn't know how to play or high ping, but this is a team based game, if you'll enter matches just to raise the MMR for newbies then quit, you better not playing it at all. If you want enjoyment without thinking of others, you either play single player, or competitive games which don't have teams, like fighting games.

yes, and that's exactly what maniac surrenderers, no reason quitters and suicidal players are doing to others : ruining their games.

You're right, with the new update you'll lose the treasure if you quit anyway(either by leaving or surrendering), so trying your best to carry low rank teammates is the best option for now.

In this game we're all in the same sinking boat, only the players can help themselves.

This is irrelevant to the OP sonofoz. This was addressed in another post. However, seeing as you brought it up, if I, the only T1 player in the game, at R3 is struggling against the enemy at a 38% MMR, how on earth are T2, R6 and unranked players doing? The answer is they're not, which means that there's a low chance of surviving in many missions, meaning that a surrender is the only viable option, which if it isn't taken, then in my opinion, it's perfectly understandable why people then quit.

If you give up you're getting a lower score anyway which means less rewards, if you fight you have the chance to increase your score and even win by some chance. A 7 is much better than a 4.

Before quitting a match or trying to give up, did you ever thought the people that are playing with you are trying to get a blueprint or are in their pot match? If they leave the mission they'll lose their chance for the day. I also get frustrated by low level players screwing my rewards but I'll still try to carry them to the end.

sonofoz, I respect your fighting spirit, I really do, but this is a game. It's not real life. It's pixels on a screen where ultimately every choice you make, playing this game is yours. If people don't want to play and choose to quit, that's entirely their prerogative to do so. There's a big difference to quitting as a pixel on a computer screen or playing in a soccer team and then saying "screw this, I'm off down to the pub", to leave your team one man down. There are video games and there's reality. Don't confuse the two as the same.

Ok, so if a rank 1 purple player gets in a group with you and two other unranked players then leaves in the start of the match because he didn't like the team composition or whatever, but his MMR scaled the difficulty to 70%, then it's fine for him to leave, right? It's just a game after all.

And this is what I mean by I find it unfair whenever tier 6s are put against tier 1s. However, there are still a bunch of people who are tier 1 with maxed forged weapons who still complain. I understand peoples annoyance especially if there is a weapon blueprint that only comes once a day now. Some players just want to get rid of the antagonist forever and make the game boring.

Yeah, and tell me how did making antagonist forced benefit the players and the game in any way? How is the queu for antagonist going for you? For me, I'm trying to play four missions where I have low score as antag to complete my monthly goal and I'm not finding any.

The games I managed to get so far are in 250+ ping where I can't even throw a punch.

So the identity was just weapons with different colors, new emotes, and melee weapons which actually take the personality out of characters since their finishers are all the same? I didn't even realize that was the update lol

There's a forum user who reported it, with video evidence. That also happened to me, I was the host, it migrated to another person but I was still in the game. I play on PC.

Guys. If MSE added a system where players could turn off the option to have an antagonist invade their game then every player in the game would turn it off and leave it off. They might as well just scrap antagonist from the game all together if they do this.

You say that but people still play the infected mode in Left4Dead 2, even though the game is basically rigged for the infected. Same with fighting games, people don't like to lose but they still go to versus mode to try playing against real people when they get tired of fighting the AI.

The trick is to give people the time to get used to the coop and let them experiment with the mechanics and stages, then let them play the PvP when they're bored of running through the PvE mode with easy. If MSE did that from start they would have a bunch of pros playing their PvP mode by now.
