Spacelords’ Advice / Descriptions of some cards.

I know that the translation of some cards are a little weird. I also know I will probably get a message saying "Don't ask the forums just test it out". But with the factions points now being universal talent points Its hard to test out the cards I have questions for rather than just settling with the cards I like. Which isn't bad, however, I feel left out of some builds that could be better. For example: I didn't realize how good of a card "electrical bypass" was until Hihsasuke made a video about it.

The whole point of this is because I read a card for Sooma "Temperance". The description reads "If you do not have active protections, your pain bar empties 5% every second. If you have an aleph super boost, your protection are 80% more powerful". The first part sounds great sense I don't care much for increasing my personal damage. I wanna support. However, I get confused with the aleph super boost part. What does it mean by 80% more powerful? Other cards say "25% more health points" so is it the same with a differ word? Does it mean that the shields will apply more pain to your pain bar? I would like to know before I use the talent points trying to get it.

Gameplay Feedback / Mikah's decoy bug?

So I was antaging as Mikah and whenever I antag as her I usually use her decoy for one of two things. To secure a grapple or cqc kill. Or to get away from cqc and use granny to snipe from a mid to long distance. Just depends on the map.

However, I noticed that whenever I recall my decoy successfully and then redeploy it the decoy just gets instantly destroyed and I have to wait like 30 minutes to reuse it. I never noticed this in the past and at first I thought I was just recalling it too late but there were some moments were the raiders were no where near my decoy and it was behind cover so there was no way of them destroying it. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I just crazy?

Gameplay Feedback / Sooma's gun (The Last Vial)

Now that I have the weapon at maxed forged I can see more of how the weapon works and I have to say it is a great weapon, however, I still feel it lacking as most say. At low MMR it is pretty "okay" with Hades Division enemy type. Wardogs I can usually melt at low to mid and a little at higher MMRs as long as they don't swarm me. Then Fifth Council just laugh as I tickle their feet but granted I expected that much, the Fifth Council are a bunch of tanks.

I feel "The Last Vial" is in need of Aneska's "Atlas" treatment. Give the weapon a larger area of effect or maybe even make it have more of a tick damage while leaving behind a red mist for X amount of time. I don't really know if this would solve the damage output because while I tested it I used the Maelstrom faction card which increases damage. I was doing around 40 damage which usually meant in a low - mid mmr I was able to kill an enemy using 2 or 3 rounds (depending on the enemy type). However, against an antagonist it does not provide any sort of threat to them it seems.

I don't play antagonist much. Whenever I do I don't really care to win. Usually just throw matches or just halfway play because its whatever. However, I do suffer from one minor thing. On some missions its fine I can spawn almost anywhere. Almost.

Missions like "Destroyer of Worlds" for example. There are only 5 spawn points and they are all on the opposite side of the raiders? I get not wanting player camp their spawn but if you are playing as Hive, Mikah, or anyone who doesn't stalk to a wall or have a giant flying death orb its hard to secure kills. Again not all missions are like this and I know this isn't the old spawn system but I feel like MSE introduced this mechanic in its early stages then just forgot about it...

Having more range on the anchor points would feel much better and give the antagonist a step up. Alternatively, you could get rid of the anchor points completely and have something similar to Doldren astral form however keeping the "Immune" time and everything else that comes with an antagonist. This way the antagonist can get the drop coming from a random spot of the map instead of being in a rough idea spot that most players (at least I) have memorized.

Bug report & Technical Support / Host migration issue

Every sense Sooma's release I have came across what I can only assume is a bug. Almost every mission I join the game does a random host migration causing portions of the game to refreshing erasing all progress. I never came across this before Sooma's release and I am not the only one who has had this issue. This bug is extremely annoying especially on missions like "Mind Over Matter" because it makes the boss gain full health even whenever he is near death.

I have already made a bug report about this but considered making a post about it as well sense I feel its getting worse.

Gameplay Feedback / Renting a Raider

I know before it says if I rent a raider I cannot build their weapons. I rented Sooma just to see her cards (and too my disappointment found I cant) became curious about the weapons. If I get ant of her blueprints will it be a waste of time or will it be unlocked whenever I buy her? Can someone please help as soon as possible sense the rent is due in 6 days now. I do plan on buying her soon anyway just curious if I can go ahead and get her blueprints while she is rented.

I don't exactly consider myself "endgame" but I am pretty well equipped and know most of the tricks and tips on all the raiders. Well almost all...Lycus has always caused problems. Whenever I first played I considered Alicia and Kuzmann as the weakest and most useless raiders in the game but as I grew and maxed out my level I learned it was the way I was playing them and not that they were weak I was just refusing to learn. However, Lycus I have always glossed over. I never really seen as a threat to anything in the game and therefore sorta weak or weaker than the others. I don't know if this is the same case as Alicia and Kuzmann were I am just not playing well with him or if he is just sorta weak. I have tested most of the card combos I can think of and every gun but everything seems weak to me in his kit. Can I get other's opinion to figure out if its me or if others think the same?

Gameplay Feedback / Question about the accumlated pot

I don't think I fully understand the rewards that come with it. I get that you get all the accumulated gold and other stuff but if I don't play the game for a day or two does it still stack up?

I played all the quickplays for one day and then got off and couldn't play the next day. Before getting off the gold that I should have gotten was 7000 something. The day that I could play it I got 20,000 something. Is this how it is suppose to be or did my game bug out? I think I am missing something.

I am hyped to know she is coming on the 16th. However, I'd like to know more about her lore wise so I was curious if I would have to wait till the 16th for her bio to drop in the "world" tab.

Also has MSE dropped anything about her weapons? I have an idea on her ability thanks to the first stream but her backstory seemed really interested and I'd love to know it in all its glory.

I am not the biggest fan of the current reward system. I know surprising another player who dislikes the current state of the game.

However, I could see this update being decent after some polishing. Limiting the XP was a bad choice. MSE has already gotten rid of levels and replaced it with tiers which I thought was useless but didn't really care. However now that they have limited the amount of XP you can even get this is by far the worse choice. Yes it stops newer players from grinding to high levels but is that really a bad thing? In this game if you are level one your passive stats (Brute Force, Armor, and resistance) are low which makes you squishy as hell even as a Fifth Council member. Not only that but getting the 2000 gold and 50 status points harder which was already annoying to try and get anyway. Having a game were you can expect players to hop on and play up to 5 missions a day is harming the game. We (or I do I cant speak for others) play the game for the rewards and diversity each raider brings to the mission. Hurting the amount of rewards we get a day makes the game no longer fun but instead a chore. Plus making it harder to get blueprints which sucks sense there are still guns being added. I cannot get Ayana's short nine because either others choice her before me or the blueprint hasn't even dropped.

 The only positive thing I can say about the current state is the queue time is much faster which I hope they don't change. If the rewards were increased more than I could see this update working but still a waste in my opinion.

Now I am usually strongly against vote to kick features in any game. As a person who played Left 4 Dead a lot I often came across a group of 3 that would vote to kick a player just to have an AI as a teammate. However I believe it would be a good feature for people who are toxic and overall just not helpful. I don't mean if you have a low tier player who is just bad either. That it is understandable because they are new they are just learning the game and frankly this game is a challenge for newer players as it is.

The reason I ask for this feature is due to a player I just experienced on Xbox one by the name of "da49060" on the mission "In med res". The player being a tier 1 as Mikah decided to vote to surrender for no reason, we were doing well having 14 out of 16 lives. Da49060 then kept jumping off the ledge wasting our lives causing us to lose the mission. This was after a line of missions were we had antagonist as well so it was a relief to have a calm relaxing missions and then just got it taken away from some toxic player throwing the game.

I messaged the player politely asking him to stop at first then slowly getting more annoyed with it, ill admit it, and his reasoning on why he was doing this was "I have things to do in real life". I then asked why doesn't he just leave in which he replied with "I don't want to be banned" and kept throwing away lives. If we had a vote to kick feature that player could have been kicked and I would have kept enjoying the game and won the mission getting back the gold I just spent on a new weapon.

Suggestions / Question for MSE: Ginebra's ability

While making an earlier post about Ginebra I brought up the fact I disliked Ginebra's ability patch that happened a couple of years ago (don't exactly remember when). In the past Ginebra would not be stressed in cougar form but in the current state of the game she is stressed in cougar form.

I dislike this and feel like it makes Ginebra much weaker then any of the other raiders. That being said I do know of a lot of people who say this was the best thing to happen to Ginebra claiming she was "over powered" but not really giving any examples on how she was.

Basically I am curious on why MSE has changed Ginebra's ability in this fashion. Sorry if this came off as rude I am just curious.

I am a huge fan of Ginebra, she is one of my favorite characters in the game as of right now (besides a few complaints mostly that of her cougar form being stressed but that's another post). However, I have noticed with her rare gun Schleuder the targeting is a little off?

The way the gun works for those who don't know is you aim and there is a laser pointer that tells you, the player, were the bolt will fly toward. The bolt also bounces off of surfaces dealing extra damage.

The thing I question is I have noticed the blue laser turns red whenever there is an enemy within the line of fire but whenever it turns red and I shoot I sometimes just barely miss even though its still red? is this a hit box issue or just me? If its just me will the card "Hallow ammunition" help me secure the kills?

Suggestions / More Game Modes

I don't know if anyone has brought this or not but I feel like adding more game modes would increase the player bases. On top of that it would defeat the repetitiveness that some complain about. As I am not a fan of PvP I think I would enjoy a sort of "Fire fight" type of game mode where its just endless waves of enemies and after like 5 or 10 waves a random boss will appear. Eventually adding in challenges as well like more elite spawns, increase enemy damage, speed boost, etc. Just random challenges that make the waves harder.

I feel like this type of game mode would be fun although should be able to be played solo as well. Although I don't fully know how the boss fights will work sense most bosses like Aneska has landing spots on the map but I have faith that MSE can make it work. If they even consider it.
