Bug report & Technical Support / Bug as Antagonist in a low blow
 on: February 03, 2019, 04:43:30 PM
Hi,
Minor bug I encountered.
In "a low blow" I played as Schneider as antagonist. On the third map (bridge with 4-5 switches), I spawned as far back as one can next to the switch, in the corner. When I spawned, as soldier spawned right next to me and I coulnd't move because of him.

However then he moved away and when I moved side wards I glitched back to my starting position. Moving backwards helped, however I couldn't recover the drone that I placed until I died.
After one death, everything was back to normal.

My weapon was the bouncy-ball one and I don't think any ability from the enemy team interfered.
Hope it helps, sorry I couldn't make a screenshot.

your idea is better, and shouldn't need as much work to implement. I'm all for it. And if the level is easy enough, they can experiment and won't feel too bad, while noticing that it's about the objective, not about killing a shitton of ennemies.

Hi, just to let you know that the language filter is abusive on a genuinely funny level.
When I wrote "good night" it blocked "nig".
When I write "something" it blocked "meth".
Cyrus is introduced by the game as a "intergalactic son of a bitch" if I'm not mistaken, but I can't write bitch.

In my guild we have like a game going, finding all the stupid filters. For example one boob is okay, but the plural, boobs is blocked. Dick is absolutely fine, as a Richard, I'm okay with that.

So in short, when the game uses so much strong language (which is cool), I don't understand such a ridiculous language filter.

(btw. happy that there is no in-game chat, I would have seriously insulted A LOT of beginners that just join to shoot a couple of mobs and don't read objectives)

Suggestions / Re: Gameplay and how to improve it

Hi,
while I've never had issues with the connection (I didn't know about the 3/4 voting) I agree on the second point.

In Mario Maker you had to show that you were able to accomplish the level before you publish it online. I would like for people to have to successfully finish a level solo before unlocking the online play. At least this way everybody in an online match knows the missions goals and how to achieve them.

Suggestions / Suggestion to reduce underperforming beginners

As I was a beginner a couple of days ago, I have some sympathy for those that don't know what to do, although now it seems obvious (hindsight is 20/20).
My suggestion is that they get a introduction into the objective of a new level, once it opens (only for them) and to play multiplayer they have to answer a very short multiple choice questionnaire to unlock it.

For example:
why are some mobs blue?
where do you need your aleph?
etc.

there are really good youtube videos that explain it. It might seem weird to officially recommend a fanmade video, but it would still help a lot.
