with identity I prefer my antag matches like this:
Within 2-3 minutes it should be clear who wins. Don't make it a shitshow, the other side should surrender.

Reasoning: Everybody is looking for good points at the end of the month (that's why I antag now), if they give me a 10, then I'll no longer select that map as antag for a month. If they muddy my victory to a 6-7, then I might come back.

Similar for me, if I mistakenly join the wrong map, or if I clearly loose, I either help them or leave, letting them win.

Pros of ammo drops: the antag can decide to take it or give it to elite,
an elite meleeing you, doesn't immediatly have the aleph,
if there is a raider who can use it more than you, you can give it to him

but yeah, I'm on team "only drop if you have aleph super boost" as well. Altough not as much as you guys, it's fine as is, and could be more convenient.

sometimems mmr doesn't match the skill, that is a problem. However they did buff antags in a couple of passive ways in the new patch (ammo/aleph drops on the ground, and you can move that egg around).
It subjectively it felt harder, yesterday I had low tiers as antags and they did a great job, one even won.

Antagging can be frustrating though, since you're dead 50% of the time, even with a good (but not great) gameplay. I recommend some antag-streams (from "known" antags on discord video content) that not only show you that you can win without dying, but also how to do it.

But as yours was only a rant, let me respond by - git gud :)

Might I include given the new purple coin: how about renting skins for a quite high purple price?
Perhaps 500 purple coin to rent a skin for 1 match?

It's mostly to see if you really like it and the things you can buy with purple coin are extremely limited at the moment.

Hi,
Yesterday I was playing Valeria with Shakura on a low blow. On the third part I carried the team at the end killing 50-100 mobs easily when they tried to rush to the elevator. However in the end it showed only 24 mobs killed.

Is it possible that only Hades count for kills, and not Wardogs? Is it possible that only Gunshots and melee count, and not Shakura-only kills?

Seeing a Doldren with an empty cardslot and a forge 0 weapon be the MvP was a letdown. (the other 2 were probably worse)

the drop adds more difficulty than help to the game. However difficulty is not necessarily bad.
Pros: Other players can collect it, if you want the Rak to really have his 5 aleph. Similar with bullets. The Antag can profit, mainly from bullets.
Cons: Is disturbs the flow of the fight if you have to stick behind to gather that aleph. I often wished I could rush into the next fight but remembered that I had to gather that aleph.

I would also favour only excess to be around but can accept that this is adds other interesting factors to the game.

reasonable suggestion, but the way it is now it encourages trying out different weapons. If I forge at lvl 5, I will probably not forge it again on forge 7, because it would be a waste of gold, thus I craft another weapon and try it out.

I probably crafted around 5-6 weapons before forge 20 (max), I bought raiders instead and rushed to level 200.

partially true, if Shae is a raider, she is very good against antags, but so is focus and Aasi Dagan as well. Aasi Dagan can wound antags in one shot. It's difficult to kill if he then takes cover.

The Sa-Dhu can kill in one shot, however the weapon has to be fully depressurized and the antag has to be alone or else the shot spreads to other mobs.

So it still seems fair to me. As antag you can pick a character after the raiders picked theirs, if they pick a shae, handle accordingly. Maybe a Doldren could be useful, Alicia would be the least useful. When rushing in, wait for Shae to have done her great shot and is reloading, or try to be sneaky towards her.

My favourite is boobs, simply because in singular (boob) it won't get filtered but plural ... bam, and it's too sexual. I think that's disrespectful against women suffering from breast cancer.

I hope I encounter you on the field, you with the Sa-Dhu, and me with guildmates.

I haven't encountered many Sa-Dhu antags, that's true (probably for a reason). But I had my fair share of games.

No worries, I had similar feeling against some other weapons/combos: A Ginebra throwing us off a bridge nonstop, a Iune headshotting us in milliseconds and flying Hans & Alicia hard to aim at and of course the Ignis Harec with good aim.
But all those matches had things in common, the antag was well chosen for that map, the team had no experience with that kind of antag, the team hadn't expected an antag and the raiders they picked weren't well suited for it and the team did no teamwork.

Just an idea that raiders won't necessarily like but would encourage gameplay and motivate to get money even on high levels.

How about you can't buy a raider forever but only buy 500 lives for 50k, everytime you die ingame or loose a match, you loose one life.
If you die very little, you have plenty of cash for weapons, if you die a lot, you don't.

It would also encourage people to spend more real life money, and it would not be pay to win.  It might however discourage people from helping newbies, so perhaps mentor matches would give +5 lives as reward.

I am concerned as well, that it will push some bad behaviour because everyone wants to do the jobs that bring the most points, but I'll voice my concern (if there is any) after the patch.
I'm sure the devs thought of most things and should be able to patch the things they forgot.

apart from some specific raiders (Lycus with shield, Harec Stalk, etc.):
stay behind cover,
dodge to cover,
shoot her before she shoots you (throw grenades, orb etc. at her position)
you're not alone, she is, so once she shoots, rush towards her and kill her,
spawncamp her, know the spawn location on the map.

last but not least: she will run out of ammo if you stick together and not let her melee you.

For a low blow, I can highly recommend Valeria with Shakura. I carried a lot of people there with her.
When the map starts, run around, find the levers. There should be 2 levers on in main area and one somewhere in the starting area.
Place Shakura so that the orb floats between both levers in the main part. The portal should be at the levers where most mobs spawn.

And you can wait it absolute safety in the beginner area near that lever, defending all 3.

Every team can put aleph in the reactor. Most beginner do it immediately and near the end, when things get hectic, some doc is gonna release all the aleph and you're screwed. Valeria can stay out of trouble and just concentrate on docs. Ignore players dying, elites and all else, just defend the levers and sooner or later you're gonna win.

With an antag, you're gonna need to improvise, but since they don't see you hiding, they're still gonna be in the main area and your shakura will help your team. So it should still work.

my playstyle is not as strict as you suggest. Mostly 1 player is in the vicinity of the upper bunker, because some docs spawn there that will pull the lever. Often enough we loose only that lever and Schneider has to pull it again.
One player stays close enough to Schneider and most importantly, when you see a doc spawn wit their blue outline, the other 2 hunt them. Don't let them run towards a lever that you defend, kill them on their way.

Most useful raiders for the first part: Harec (stalk+snipe docs at terminals), Valeria (Shakura can defend a terminal and she can roam free) and Shae (can snipe from balcony and still defend the upper bunker). I also like to play Hans for hunting docs.

I hope it helps, and as always there is surely more than one way to play and win this map.
