Yeah I thought that at first too. It's not op it just makes you have to be mindful and act deliberately. Ideally you'll have a team who can communicate when a charged elite is on the field and give it space. Also the strategy with them is to lay down fire and get them into wounded state so you can eat them.

Just wait till you get to the high mmr and the elites can spam you with a shot that staggers and pulls you. Now that is bullshit because you can't avoid, shield against, or stop it.

I'm down for more fun, but I don't really think the grind is too extreme. Meh rewards are just the base experience, you should be tricking out bounty Hunter as stated above and affiliation weapons. Consider how much content is on offer here, all that is available is a handful of guns for a handful of characters. If they cut the prices too drastically a player could eat up all the content in a week or two.

That said 180k per character is a bit extreme.

I love how new players are always willing to dissert but will never vote to surrender when a match clearly is too far gone to win. Possibly because it's not clear that it's an option like you seem to be saying.

After this update I feel like the Melee combat is extremely clunky. I even miss attacks on enemies standing still...Was something changed? I never had issues with melee strikes till this update dropped.

Yeah I see a lot of people who might have been on the fence uninstalling the game if that's the case. Don't get me wrong disserters suck. But put yourself in the shoes of a newcomer. Real time would be more reasonable.

I tend to bounce guilds regularly to find good aequalibrium, and I'm not getting the result you're mentioning.

Yeah I enjoy the increased spawns. Though if you're going to do that, shotgunners should be tweaked in some way to balance it out. Like maybe apply the reaction system to raiders so they can have a way to deal with multiple shotgunners without getting stun locked.

So is there any mechanism in the program that can distinguish an intentional dissertation from one caused by server/system failure.

While I like that people are discouraged from bailing it sucks to get locked out because if a blackout or disconnect.

Also, is the 5 minutes only counted down if the app is open?? I got cut off last I played and 2 days later I'm turning it on to stare at a screen wondering to myself if it's worth it to wait. And also wondering if I just turn it off now, will I have to wait another 5 minutes if I eventually forgive the game and come back to it.

Cool, I'm glad you like it and hope you stick around. And, it's good to see some positivity. I can admit saying this game isn't play tested is insulting and is uncalled for. That being said, the problems I've mentioned in my post above have not been addressed and don't show signs of ever being addressed.

The "they're an indie dev, trying thier best" argument I see so often  isn't applicable to all criticisms. A lot of these problems could be very easily fixed but they just aren't a priority and that's not good for the long term health of this community. There's a reason this forum is so salty. It's because the devs are more interested in adding new content than polishing the core end user experience.

Additionally, I can assume with confidence that the majority of posters giving negative feedback are players who have spent money and are disappointed. No one is criticising the graphics or visuals. They're criticising a system that they gave slack to expecting improvements over time and all are in varying states of fed up after seeing multiple patches that add unwanted features while outstanding issues go un addressed.

This is not a bad game, no one would be this mad about something they didn't admire.

I like where you're going. But, no bp's in pve? The biggest problem with antags is that juggernauts come in and ruin win streaks for rares.

That's the reason we see tiers instead of levels now. Its an official admission that they have no intention to fix matchmaking. It's not happening. As for the experience of being an antag, still mostly joyless for me.

I don't think it's the system as much as it's the players at this point. So many times I make it obvious that have no intention of fighting, I'm just here to lower my mmr, get affinity or help you get good time. But, there are always pencil dicks who don't need the aleph trying to flex. Or people straight killing me while I'm clearly trying to give them aleph for the objective. Yeah you're real tough mercing a vegitable for no reward.

I used to be okay with there being no point to competitive play because I could still get what I need and meet cool ppl. I used to have fun helping out and making mischief now I don't even bother spawning. I can't get the thrill of competition, I can't get the joy of forging unlikely alliances. There's just no draw, it's just, queue up if you wanna have a bad time.
