Yes Tekato, so a high level player is getting, pretty much, the same awards as a beginner. No incentive to get a high MMR and as you imply, low or high, you're going to get teamed with beginners regardless.
Well kinda yes and no because a higher level player will have an easier time getting high scores due to the difference in forge levels and passives. Also a beginner probably won't have maxed out bounty hunter weapons and such to boost their earnings.

Mmr only has a small effect on your score and your score is what affects your final rewards. So it doesn't really matter since getting a score of 10+ isn't too hard to achieve with the personal score boost. MMR is useless since you still get paired up with 20% mmr players even if you have over 60% and you don't really get better rewards for dealing with a higher difficulty.

so shae is OP  but smoking daisy who can OS behind cover while you are dancing in the sky pretty untargetable, it's ok for you ?

learn how to fight against shae and wich raider is best against her, and she won't be OP anymore.
I don't care for nerfs, at this point pvp is too broken to balance. But your suggestion to counter pick against a shae doesn't work as a raider since you can't actually see who the antag picks until it's too late. Also a shae has aim bot so she can easily take out a flying alicia.

but at least, if you think you don't have what it takes to play with grownups, you still can have your AI mode. like in any moba.
and you shouldn't despise it, it's pretty usefull to get use to the game.

once you have a forge lvl 10 you're at max strength, there is nothing more to gain to be better except skills, wich you deny to the game...
so progress in what ?

you can't win against cheating AI no matter what and regardless you forge lvl.
and when AI is not crazy you can easilly achieve mission without a max forge weapon.
so the forge lvl is mostly only usefull against other players...

consequently, if you just want to play the game in coop, training mode like in other mobas should be enough, since you don't want to play against other players and therefore doesn't need as much forge lvl.
Forge levels are overkill in pvp if anything those stats should be completely removed. Maybe then pvp would actually have some form of balance instead of everyone just one shotting each other. The only reason why anyone would need these 300+ dmg crit weapons is for the Ai, when they start getting over 400 health in high difficulty matches.

Antags just need to fuck off right out of all my matches. It's getting ridiculous how many of them pop up in my matches. I'm not interested in your 1 shot weapons and 99% mission difficulty because you lowered your mmr to 10%.

Blueprint or not just fuck off.

So I don't know if I am the only one or not but the card system is a little...annoying to deal with. Even more so with the change of faction points into talent points. I do enjoy talent points because now I don't feel so restricted whenever it comes to playing the game. However, there are a ton of cards I have been trying to get. For example: Ginebra's card "Thrusters". I haven't even gotten the common version. Sense there are SO many cards with the so many characters it is difficult to actually get desired cards. I find myself getting the same exact cards way too often as well.

I think a good way to change the card system is making the cards purchasable like the guns in the games. Say rare blueprints are a 80k talent points while the commons are like 12k. The numbers of course not set in stone MSE can change them to whatever they want, the point is rares cost more than the commons. I don't believe this would break the game because it gives more wiggle room with experimenting and it will make getting cards less of an annoying chore.

We've been implementing a rework of the card adquisition system, since people in the community have been asking for it for a while now. We remained mysteriously silent because its release date its yet to be confirmed, but we're trying for it to be included in the upcoming Heavy Metal update:



We'll get more into detail as we get closer to release day.

No one, in their right mind is going to play as an Antagonist on their pot and dailies.

And they shouldn't, you're already playing the "troll mode", the chance of messing someone's game should be satisfaction enough for you.

You gain nothing for fighting an antagonist, the last thing we need is more reasons for people to play this stupid mode.
It's only going to get worst with the master of puppets update. We'll probably end up with antags in every match due to the heavy emphasis this update has on the antagonist game mode. Now that aleph will be so rare all antags really need to do is get rid of any aleph they get their hands on and it will drastically slow down the raider's mission progress.

(they also need to add the "someone needs to shut up" command, when you encounter a leader who barks orders every 3seconds and who should try to act more and order less.
not telling this for you, but i just end a game with a guy like that.)

I would like a "fuck off" command. Sometimes players stay too close to each other, most of the times to steal your aleph and ammo.
Looks like you won't be needing that anymore since aleph will no longer drop from elites unless they've already picked it up from one of the aleph deposits on the map. Now everyone will be fighting for that one aleph that randomly appears on the map lol.

Same, I had a really scary low blow match where at the end I had to sacrifice myself so the iune could extract. The wardogs just kept spawning faster than I could kill them all and swarmed the extraction point. It makes no sense for there to be these many ads in a 34% difficulty. I don't mind the difficulty myself but I doubt the low levels in that match were having a good time.
