Gameplay Feedback / Strong LOVE/Hate relationship with this game
 on: September 06, 2018, 06:28:41 PM
*Not a hate post, I'm still a loyal member, I just have some strong feelings about my favorite game.

I feel like I need to put this in words again, because I really really want this game to succeed and grow, but the systems are just really frustrating me to where I don't want to play anymore (I've got 79 hours logged in game from the past 2 weeks).

*First off, how do you not have any voice, text, JUST CHAT IN GENERAL in your ONLINE MULTIPLAYER TEAM FOCUSED GAME. That is inexcusable and puts a really really bad taste in my mouth, and not just the fact that you can't communicate during a mission, The fact that I can't make any sort of bonds with anyone in game is a gaming sin and should not have been looked past. So let me end this by saying you really really messed up.

*The reward system sucks, just gonna put that out there. I hate the timed rewards, 12hrs, 8hrs....it all just sucks. It makes playing the game after a bit feel old and repetitive and worthless after you get or lose your reward.
Just the fact that the rewards reset on a timer sucks, it should be based on playtime and skill, not your BS timed rewards system.  It's aggravating and has made me stop playing after the first hour (because then Im stuck waiting 12 hours or 8 just to play again). I shouldn't be playing like that in an online multiplayer game, SIN

*Another issue I've noticed, whats with the pairing for the matchmaking?!?! I played with levels 400+ and 200+ against a lvl 60 antagonist. That guy was smoked till he just stopped spawning. THATS NOT RIGHT EITHER, why would a low level get paired like this?

I've got more to vent btw, I'm just going to take a break and play more till I see something else that sparks my memory and then I'll be back to vent about it.

Till then, I'll see you all ingame, if of course the community sticks around, I know I will be staying...unfortunantly, This games hooked me like no other. Really really hope it improves.

If I could add something, rewards should be unlocked through gameplay, not through a time limit. I wanna play now while I can, not later when I'm having to work, care for my family, etc... This is not an Asian MMO

Spacelords Universe / No "Chat" Function and .....Reward System
 on: August 31, 2018, 02:16:39 AM
So I've been playing a ton, almost Tier 3, so far really really enjoying the game...but I gotta ask, how does this game not have a chat system? It's a multiplayer focused game that is trying to build a community. It's really really annoying not being able to help out newer players or even plan out a strategy with my team. I honestly see this as a huge gaming sin and it frustrates me to no end.

The reward system I have a problem with as well.  Though I like it for the most part, I feel its a little unfair when you lose a round. Most of my matches are mentors, that you can't help (because of the lack of a chat system), and about 90% of the time that match is a lose. There goes 12 hours of my time...I honestly wish you guys took the shady route and charged $$$ to reset those timers, because this system you have going on is just making a great game frustrating and a total turn off...Which sucks because it's been a long time since I've had this much fun in a game.

So I plan on continuing to play and support the game, because its honestly touched me somewhere deep and I hope this games population and content expands....but please do something about your games systems...

Suggestions / 40+ Hrs Suggestions
 on: August 28, 2018, 06:36:15 PM
****PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMMENT OR DEBATE MY SUGGESTIONS, OR TO ADD IDEAS TO ALREADY EXISTING ONES I'VE CREATED****

These are a list of issues I have with the game, as well as, suggestions and ideas I feel should be added.

1. If someone leaves mid game and doesn't come back, and the party loses the match, MMR score doesn't decrease. (Or add more lives or something, Losing because of a quiter really puts me down on playing when it happens so frequently, especially with new players that can't use common observational skills to figure out how to complete each task.)
****A. MMR doesn't decrease upon fail if mentoring. Suggestion****

2. Some sort of method of communication other than the " B or V" method. This is a team game that requires cooperation. it's difficult to organize plans when you play with random people and have no way to communicate. This would also really improve the mentor system as well as engage newer players and old.

3. Character locks on specific missions should be removed after unlocking that character. There isn't an overlly large mission list to choose from, and locking certain characters out of specific missions kinda limits gameplay where it doesn't need to be. Sure it goes along with the lore, but seeing it the first time is enough I believe to keep the immersion.

ADDITION 1.) So after more playing I've come to the conclusion that the games biggest sin (in my opinion) is there is no chat function in this game. This is a multiplayer game built around the community yet it doesn't have any voice chat or typed chat at all. This game NEEDS communication. I see a benifet of this while playing missions as well as out of missions during downtime. There needs to be chat.

ADDITION 2.) After playing a bunch as the antagonist, I've felt that the MMR rating is unfair towards it and should be removed as statistic when playing antagonist. There just isn't really any appeal to it when playing as a group is more engaging and rewarding. It should be as a side activity and nothing else. Now if there was more to it then, yes keep the MMR change, but as of right now, it's just not worth even diving into.

ADDITION 3.) So previously I've stated the game needs a chat system, I now partially disagree. How the game is set up with the antagonist feature, a fully functioning chat would really hurt the win chance of the antagonist. To combat this I say reduce the number of lives the protagonists have to the defualt (without an antagonist). Or instead of implementing a voice and typed chat system, expand on the options of the command wheel. For example, add commands like "I'll defend" or "Antagonist is near". Even an option to allow custom replies would be great.

ADDITION 4.) The grind in this game is very heavy. Like extreme. It would be nice to see a "Quest" system, or just additional bonus objectives to complete, or daily goals to accomplish. Anything to make the grind alittle more rewarding. Yes you level up a lot, but the rewards aren't as worthwile as they could be.

ADDITION 5.) I would like to see a "Random Event" type of system thrown into the missions to spice up the gameplay. Such as Mini boss encounters, Bonus goals, Enemy reinforcments(Horde of Enemies), Optional Stealth Objective completions (Sush as the ability to stealth through parts of a mission for possible bonus rewards or to possibly change the encounter to play in your favor or possibly against).

ADDITION 6.) I would like to see an update to the effects where the npc's go into "ragdoll" when killed. I would also like to see a gore system implemented. I feel the nice red colors would compement this adult themed game. We get colorful humor, now I want colorful gore.

ADDITION 7.) Fix the grouping option to allow different platform users to group together. (It would really help bring the community together, as well as allow people to play with their friends on different consoles.

I'll be sure to update this as I continue playing. I hope to see this game grow and improve. Props to the developers to making such an engaging game.
