agreed, they should just make it so you can buy the characters with the currency you buy with real money (forgot the name of it) so you can keep those prices separated and reward failry those who decide to pay with money.
also i hate how they are hitting the casual player and the dedicated player at the same time, casual players will have it hard with getting enough money to buy anything. Meanwhile players with more time will have to deal with these 12 hours cooldown rewards, those real time waiting systems were made for facebook games for fuck sake. In other games it might work but that its because those games are way bigged and you can do stuff while waiting, right now it feels like the game doesnt want to be played without paying, wich i would like to but my country's currency isnt in the best state and everything cost too much for me to invest.

I completely agree. A friend and I played In Shock last night and we are both level 20. We were paired with a level 1 and a level 48. The 48 dropped instantly and the level 1 made it about 2 mins before quitting as well. Needless to say my friend and I finished the entire mission with only the two of us and what did we get for the 40 minute mission, 300 extra gold per desertion so 600 total. I could have finished that mission in 15 mins max with a full party so I lost gold. I just couldn't bring myself to fail and lose my 1-time reward.

The game is fantastic but the time gates, forge/weapon progression, and reward structure are all poorly designed. I want Spacelords to succeed and will teach all of my friends how to play but the rest of the game needs some serious help.
yeah, if there is anything i really hate about people going afk is that they didnt do anything to help cope with that, if the host leaves the stage of the current mission restart except the amount of lives left, and if anyone leaves all you get are 300 gold and 300 reputation, absolutely worthless with how much everything costs, the game doesnt even try to make it easyer since you have less people or give you bots, invincible but very dumb bots could work.

had the same issues you did, what is frustrating is that it seems they arent adressing the issues with this relaunch, i get that they are busy with xbox problems and who knows what else though, the only advice i have for you is to join steam group chats, you will more likely find people who liked the game and are willing to play enough to join a group chat.
the groups i am in right now are SPACELORDS and Raider chat, sometimes you wont find people to play but that is an issue with the game population itself.

angeles is right tho, yeah there are characters that are suitable for many maps if not all of them, but if you pick a character that is strong in the current map you might do better. in every online game there is a op character or weapon, no need to be a crybaby and ignore the main issue the post was trying to discuss about.

i got into the game with the news of a conversion to free to play and 1 of the developers (long haired one) said that you would get more rewards when loosing against an antagonist than you would get when winning without 1, i dont get why they didnt aply that, it would also somewhat help with the gold problem and you wouldnt feel so frustrated when loosing and you can focus on having fun.

We already don't get enough gold for the things we need, lol. I have so many BP to forge and not enough gold and obtaining that gold at a turtle's pace, I don't need MORE things to buy unless we have more ways to make more gold at a faster rate. But, hang in there, they are going to have an arena mode.
what is this arena people talk about? wasnt able to find any info about it.

agreed, also wish they would fix what happens when the host left, i was playing a mentor game so it was already hard, then the host left (level 20 btw) and we had to start over again but without the lives the new players lost(not their fault, they are new).

i have read that it was because of cross-platform issues but i really dont care since i have yet to meet 1 single player from consoles.

not a fan of the low mobility of some characters but all i can say is that it depends on the character you use and it makes sense that someone like kuzmann or konstantin move slow, i used to think the same as you do until i got hive who can be much more agile.

maybe you are right, compared to other online games i have played (mobas and other pvp oriented games) i didnt feel much frustation  so i didnt though there would be much toxicity, still i wish there was a way to speak to in any way to new players to encourage them to shoot certain objectives wich i may not be able to do myself because of my weapon being short-ranged.

seriously, i dont get it, why you make a coop game where i cant speak to my teammates? its just awfull that i dont have any way to comunicate, and the quick chat that you use with V is simple awfull, just 4 options and only 1 usefull, your companions cant give you ammo, only 1 or 2 of them can heal you and the ok option is meh.
