We need some detail from the devs about the algorithm of match making, though, is it done by the system automatically? Like, the system looks for ppl close to your mmr, and gradually expands the searching.

Match making system may need more polish, but more of that, I consider the player base is decreasing. So, what he suggests is actually, the best option for now. Meanwhile, they will present a new MMR system. Hopefully, it makes your experience better.

This game requires at least 2 decent players to win, one clears minions, one interacts with gimmicks.

MSE, please make Cortez brothers much stronger when there is only one left in the team.

Brothers cannot deal with gimmicks, but at least, please make Brother can kill a few minions before one dies.

If a game can ended up a losing game, what is the point to start a game with 2 people?

Both raiders and antag were tier 1 so that was why difficulty did not drop.
I believe mse wants to make antag’s game very hard for new raiders, so if you have low tier raiders in your team and the antag’s mmr is high, difficulty drops significantly. So, as a consequence, decent skill but low mmr players can ruin the game without showing up.

By the way, I thought we were taking about usefulness of redesigned elites in antag’s game. Alex, why do you complain about compensation to low mmr antag in raiders games? Should I tell you the words?

I'll admit I am not an amazing antagonist but the problem isn't my skill.
It's fair when you can win, lol.
The raiders happened to be just too efficient to kill elites and minions??? Can you upload some videos so someone can do an analysis?

I played against 50 something MMR antag while ours were almost the same, and the difficulty was around 50. It was at Weapon from the Past. Minions were easy to kill (2 puches), but they appeared a lot. But Elites took a lot of shots before going down. They went immune to cqc as soon as I got close to them, so it was not easy kill.

At a soloQ, I met Ayana antag at the stage escorting Urugal (I forgot the story name.) Her MMR was higher than ours, so the difficulty dropped to 25. But the game was difficult, and we almost lose Urugal. To me, Elites just did fine and were annoying as always.

“Come with me”, please. This is used to be very versatile and trigger a team up.

Don't waste your time posting that she should be nurfed. They don't know how to balance characters. I do not know what they are working on, but they are busy doing something else. They do not have any intention to balance the game for now. You use the strong in the current meta, and you are golden. Forget about your main and your favorite. She is the dev's favorite. You cannot beat it.

I know it's hard, but as you wrote above, you know what is wrong already. Then, try to look around sometimes. You can check raiders' positions before spawn. Attack one overextending, and run before surrounded.

Feeling accomplished to see Level's long post after eating his team raw and chew their bones last night. My activity does not go in vain and effectively reduce newbies.

Dude, what do you mean by "true pvp"? pvp is pvp whether balanced or not.


To me, I am ok with pvp optional. Whatever the concept is, the system cannot accommodate it because of unstable network. I rather wants MSE to develop and nurture new players. Player's learning curve cannot catch up at this point. Occasional hard games with antag presence can ruin the newbie's experience but rarely strengthen by the challenge.
(The games grab my heart from the start, but this is the minority, telling from many salty posts. Newbies should be nurtured kindly.)

I see MSE tried a lot, training mode, lowering the cap, comm system, give strong guns for the starting/inexpencive characters, sudden death. From my perspective, i cannot know whether the player base grows. I still see people quitting when I join as an antag.

For now, MSE better put the pvp optional so the fan base to build up. Yea, the antags may quit the game, but MSE can earn the remaining 4/5.

As Kuzzy says in the other post, we do not have big fan base like COD, that can afford to lose newbies by rewarding veterans. Without newbies, the game is going to die in anyway.

Make the pvp optional, increase more game modes. Randomize the cards and perks like Destiny and Borderlands so people can grind. Reward less non-pvp games, but reward pvp games. Develop the system so people want to contineu rather quitting in the middle of the game.

CQC is one of core systems of this game, though, it can be ruined by unstable network between players very easily. I do not know about EU countries, but in the US, the broadband infrastructure is not very good. with $60, I consider the decent, I can buy 150Mbps DL, 60-80 usually. Fiber Optics are only available in limited cities. If you live in some rural areas, you do not have much choice than Times Warner Cable, who rips your ass off.

Shakura is op for sure. It has minimal risk to kill raiders, especially, when she can camp.

One of strong things in this game is something that can damage you even in cover or kill you almost instantly.

Guns that can kill you in cover:
Hive's skill, especially plague+explore card
Rak's shepard
Ayana's legacy
Schneider's all guns
Kuzz' licht bogen
Aneska's default and special
Val's all guns

The most effortless, low risk, and high dps ones are Shepard, Shakura and Licht bogen.

Low risk means, you can damage your opponents while you take cover. All other guns requires you to be exposed (you have to aim and shoot.)

In addition to it, Shakura has the highest dps if she uses her guns along with the skill. If she camp, almost no one can kill her. Good Harec is not in your team when you need him the most.

I do not think he is underpowered although only viable gun is the pepper pot. He can down a raider from miles away if crit and usually it crit in one or two shots.

Is it just me who can’t penetrate his shield with hive guns?

Alicia is totally biased by the dev. What was the daisy buff against his shield? I consider daisy is very similar to pepper pot, 1 shot down capability, 3 magazine, mid range, similar hit box, but yet pepper pot got nurfed instead of the daisy.

MSE, please improve his gun or just revert it back. I do not know why he gets nurfed while alicia and rak are kept buffed in almost every updates. (her daisy can now penetrate Lycus shield while her gun is already the best gun in the game. The recent Rak's skill nurf is good, though, Rak's hatchet's buff in both damage and range was unbalanced.)
I suspect Devs are biassed. Anyone ever check and test the balancing before releasing patches?

I want the "come with me" command back. The command was very versatile and useful in many situations. MSE, your original designs are well considered, actually. All I wanted was to add "No" and "Elite/Antag Here!" in addition to "Come with me", "OK", "Help", and "Ammunition".

By the way, currently, I do not even use the comm system. There are too much information to me. I always pass the party leader to someone else.
