Gameplay Feedback / How to match with guild member as antag?

I report an issue about slow network when matching with eu and south america raiders while im antaggjng in usa. I receive an answer telling me : the best option for dedicared players is to create a guild with fellow players to ensure you find games.

I dont have a guild yet, but do i get matched with guild members if im in guild?

The problem is, usually i cannot team  up with raiders abroad, but i find an antag match against raiders abroad. Usually, they group up with raiders kn the same region. As antag, i only have disadvantage. They have lag armor, cqc advantage, warp, rewind, etc.

I just want to have better experience as antag.

They just cant fix those laggy games because their core design assumes much larger player pool in a certain area. Their best comment is group up with your friends. This was given to antags, lol.

Dont raise any hope. Its better forget this game and try others.

It is not just A bad day but bad days. It is profitable for them to sell dances and skins than fixing the game. Also unlike other 4v1 games, raiders dont need antags to start a game.
There is no incentive for MSE to balance a game.

Hopefully they design and test something else for pvp.

So, this game has a new bug to report. I appreciate MSE fix issues so far, though.
It's X'mas and I do not have much things to do, so I play SL. (good news for you, MSE).

I have witnessed engineers have snatched a sphere in a distance, twice.
I was on PS4, a game with an antag. (bad news)

I feel like I am going to play Boarder Land PVP and COD combined, broken weapons /slash/ death upon meeting. I'm afraid I don't even need CQC, which one of the distinctive features, although it all depends on network speed.

When I play as Raider, team average MMR 45%+, I rarely see antag to join. Last night I played with my friends, all purple tier1, 5 games, 5~6 maps que, all PS4, 8PM ~ 10PM in the US West Coast, there was only 1 antag game.  So boring... Please let me help lowering his MMR.

Aw, Whatever the reason, your system match me and friends with someone from russia, eu, argentina, etc.
I know your advise is the best at this point. However, what do you guys try to improve the match making system.

You well know that bad network ruins a game experience.

I was matched with a pc while playing on ps4. 2 men with heuy duey. Phase1 and 2 were at 250-500 ping but ok to play. At the last phase,  it became unplayable. My position jump back and forth, sudden death due to snipr, couldnt use harec's stalk because i was down already, etc. While the host raider seems tobe ok. Why? Because of increase of fx???  Please do something.

I dont t know what you are talking about here, but hans is the most beloved character by the devs and he was kept being buff but not nurfed. He is good for both ve and vp. So what do you want to change about him? See destiny, there are 3 types of thrust systems, double/triple jump, hover, and somewhat conventional thrust.

I've been posting it for the past few days cause I haven't played since before the infinite ammo update and have found Antagonist mode is in it's worse state right now.

I doubt it. I rather think Antag is buffed because I do not have to find a chance of cqc kill to get ammo.


My idea is to give Antagonist the shield Kuzman has in the mission 'In Shock' where you wont take shot damage and are melee invincible until it's down. This way a Raider just cant rush you unless they knock the shield down.

All other 4v1 games give the 1 person buffs to compensate for being alone but this game doesent and relies on grunts to be effective which they cant since there undertuned badly.


MSE probably considers the buff to antag is the AIs. However, they are easily wiped in low difficulty game.

I like the shield buff idea. but I consider a trigger of the shield can be Aleph. This way, it gives more chance for raiders to scatter. Currently, it is very difficult for antag to kill raiders if they nest in one location. Like, weapon from the past, there is no reason for raiders to go after aleph in the map.

Balancing and tweaking of MMR/difficulty are endless job. It's time to find another approach to satisfy both parties.
I consider it is ok for antags to face challenge. However, currently, there is no space for creativity/tactics for antag to insert.

Thanks, TENKA. I appreciate your team's endless effort to make the game better.

I rather want to have distance restriction, especially when I do antag. I am in the US, and I hate to get matched with ppl in Japan, South America, and Russia because of high ping. CQC does not work, my shots do not land but theirs do, etc.
I do not worry about unbalanced compensation whichever lower MMR team gets, but I rather concern about absurd and unfair Host system with high ping. What usually happens is, I get matched with raiders in South America. So, the majority of the raiders have low ping when I have high ping.
Antagging is a challenge, but it should not be because of the network system. Currently, you do not have any other choice than p2p, then, at least let players to make a choice of the distance of matching.
