Giving an Antagonist the same rewards as a Raider is a bit of a joke don't you think MSE?
It's 1 versus 4 in reality and the only time the game evens out is when Elite heavies get aleph and either bomb the area or get a shield and grab the raiders.

You should at least have triple the gold, xp and faction award. Even better, if a raider/s are playing for first pot/s of the day you should be getting a large percentage of that, at least 75% of total winnings. And if there happened to be blueprints: common/advanced and rare then they should be yours as well.

No one, in their right mind is going to play as an Antagonist on their pot and dailies.

I'm afraid I don't get your point of view here. Why is it you feel antagonists have less incentive to play than Raiders when they get similar rewards for the same amount of playing time?

And they shouldn't, you're already playing the "troll mode", the chance of messing someone's game should be satisfaction enough for you.

You gain nothing for fighting an antagonist, the last thing we need is more reasons for people to play this stupid mode.
It's only going to get worst with the master of puppets update. We'll probably end up with antags in every match due to the heavy emphasis this update has on the antagonist game mode. Now that aleph will be so rare all antags really need to do is get rid of any aleph they get their hands on and it will drastically slow down the raider's mission progress.

While Aleph deposits will surely need some post-MoP patch tweaking, I'd like to point that our initial approach isn't for them to be "rare" at all. During our in-house play sessions there was a remarkably higher amount of Aleph gems than it used to in pre-MoP builds, so that Raiders can get to share it with other team members and use it during combat as explosive, instead of using it just for mission completion.
That's one of the benefits of unlinking aleph boost poblation from elite spawning, we now have more freedom to tweak missions in fun way. :)

With the 2nd of July, dreadful update you nerfed Blueprint collection by about 400%. Your player base were rightly angry. To make matters worse we get 2 chances to win them in 2 days, angering the gaming community even more. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a VERY high chance the BP we win we already have. How on earth can you justify giving a player 3 duplicate BP's in a row with three new characters?

Remove RNG for BP collection and just fill up BP as you do with beginning of the month awards. This is the least you can do. Have you any idea how annoying it is to get duplicates constantly?

Blueprint duplicates as such will probably disappear from the game when the upcoming Heavy Metal update gets released. We're still working on the new system, so we'd rather go into detail when we get closer to its release.

On of the changes we'll be introducing in the Master of Puppets update (due to release on July 29) is that you'll get a much higher % probability bonus of getting a Blueprint if you lost the previous die roll.

At the end of the month players' missing weapon blueprints are automatically filled up with the beginning of month, score award. I presume the game checks the first player, on the left and dishes out blueprints until a character has all, then moves onto the next character and does the same.

MSE, is it really too much to ask that the same system is used in the acquisition of daily blueprints? Would you please only give out duplicates if said character already has all blueprints already?

Seeing as you've dropped blueprint award drastically, by about 80%, this is the least you could do. I'm finding and I should imagine everyone else is too, that if you have one blueprint already and are looking for two there's more chance of receiving a duplicate.

MSE, it's thing like this that really piss people off.

please as for ping problem, you really have to do somehing for that.
when a coward host, decide to quit becuse he doesn't even realise we have achieve 75% of the mission even if we are losing lot of lives and consequently you lose mostly because of him since you have everything to do again, you really want to find him and hang him by the balls (until these tiny things quit too, but his body).

May I ask which mission were you playing?

Have any of you played a match where Sooma has left a million spheres all over the place and actually managed to see just what the hell is going on?

Last game I played with her in my team there were so many spheres I couldn't see the enemy. Believe it or not putting a lightly coloured, translucent, circle on top of another of the same, doubles the strength of the colour and makes it darker and more opaque. Add some darker coloured symbols and where they meet you'll pretty much block what's in front, heavily distorting the image.

We changed some of the visual FX for Sööma's Redeemer weapon, so that it gets les occlusive, especially when you're close to one of the spheres.

The upcoming Master of Puppets (due to release on the 29th of July) should include these changes. :)

I suppose you are right about using the spawn time to play mind games. After a few more testing it seems only Destroyer of Worlds is the only missions I wish spawn points were more spread out.

Also thank you for giving more info on what the Master of Puppets update will bring <3 any idea/clues on when it may be released?

I guess we can try to update spawn areas for DoW once more, but we won't be able to broaden it much more. BTW, when you say "spawn points" I guess you're referring to the "anchor points", right? I suppose you already know you're not forced to spawn only within those, but on any point within the allowed spawn area! :)

I guess we'll be giving details on the new update soon enough, but shhhhh! I'd rather leave that to Karen! She's the one in charge when it comes to delivering hype. :)

I do not believe you can shield the inner sanctum guardians right now on Breath of Hope. I tried a few times the last match I antagged. Was a very fun fight even without being able to shield them.

I just checked it and there seems to be a visual bug. The Guardians can actually be shielded, but their shield cannot be seen.

Laughably, the highest score payout of 350 happens to be something like 1200 status points. Who, in their right mind is going to chase an impossible mission score of 34 perfect 10's with a couple of 10+'s in order to win an utterly useless status award that buys you diddly squat?

Seriously, it's just decisions like this that show how completely and utter out of touch, not just with the gaming community, with reality the MSE developers are. I will never, ever, ever in a million years purchase a stupid, pointless, jukebox.

Geez.....

Yeah, when it comes to the monthly rewards, we're working on adding more variety to them, but I'm afraid we're not ready to go into detail just yet.

It's high time your company started accepting responsibility for decisions they make regarding the game.
Ojuel, the jukeboxes are a complete and utter waste of time. I probably encounter one player, playing one in every 30 or so matches, if that. That means, on average, 119 people aren't interested!

As Tekato stated (and I also) giving us costumes, gear etc is far more beneficial.

(I edited your original post, so let's just forget about it and keep our focus in the subject)

Of course I read Tekato's idea and I'll keep reading everyones's ideas on the Status currency, feedback is always useful! :)

So, I've acquired over 6k in status (purple currency). At the moment all you can buy, with it, are utterly useless jukeboxes. About as useful as tits on a bull. Are you going to be giving more 'useful' goods for us to purchase in the near future?

The Status currency is not meant to be spent on "useful goods", since it has a more festive-like philosphy.
For the moment we'll be using it just for disco balls, so no need to save it for later, just let loose and start dancing. :)


This is a terrible decision, nobody is going to spend all their status coins on some disco balls. If they can't think of anything better just let us buy loadouts and temporary cosmetics. Like maybe we could buy a melee weapon for 3 days of use for 1k status, but if we wanted it permanently we would still need to buy it with mercury points. You can do the same with skins, this might even encourage more players to purchase the skin permanently if they really like it. I would prefer something more unique but it seems like that isn't happening.

These status coins feel like a slap in the face right now.

Back in the day, one would just keep leveling up to 999lv without any new sort of rewards involved. The Status currency works as a substitute of sorts to the level thing, it's just meant be a funny, non-gameplay-related way to show your status to the other players (hence its name).

Im not sure what mind game we talking about, there a skull near your name and a quck flash when you spawn.

What I meant with that is Raiders may be expecing you to respawn as soon as possible, but truth is I ususally wait a little longer, so they can't predict what I'm doing.

Sometimes I wait a little longer when I know some meaningful event is hapenning soon within the mission and go spawn frantcily when that  happens, so I catch everyone offguard. Other times I just wait until the Raiders seem to be distracted with a new arrival of AI foes...etc.
