I have no clue if this was actually in the game or if it was just some sort of fever dream BUT whenever I started there was a mandatory starter mission where you, the player, played as Harec alone on a small short mission were there was a tutorial telling you how to play (grapples, ability, "stealth", etc.) It was short and helped me out. It started off with cortex dropping you off on the side of a base and you sneak in trying to get Lycus. You fail obliviously and you play "Hanging on by a Thread" to get Lycus on your team. I never understood why they took it out of the game and replaced it with videos? I always learn from doing. I was also blessed with high level people who taught me everything.

Honestly I think that's what the game is lacking. A community who is willing to take the chance of loosing a few missions to help better others. Instead of seeing them as useless meat shields feeding lives try to give advice. That being said newcomers have to learn how to receive advice. There are countless people I tell to use their ability and they take it as me telling them they played poorly. Its a give and take and no one is seeming to want to do either.

You're not wrong, there use to be a tutorial mission, but it was scrapped. The problem is people don't take time to read. The game also tells you how to accompmish the objectives with markers and people still fail to follow the objective. Even Cortez tells the player. MSE can't hold a players hand. Otherwise wed just need auto play feature lol

It's ironic cause said individual puts a lot of effort into trashing peoole in the discord, but yet is always there. Hmmmmm

Its all about the the attention. If they don't get it in the discord they just post on the forums.  The fact that this is even a thread proves my point.

I agree, levels were a testament to the time a dedication players put into the game. Now it just seems generic and cheap.

This is going to have to get broken down for me.

I just killed 106 enemies with Schneider, so not even including the ones killed with his drone as they currently don't count, refilled that old git's shield three times and saved the other Raiders multiple times/gave assists yet a rank 6 Kauzman beat me? Nah. I don't think so.

This might sound bitter as I am a bit. I totally owned that game.

So, MS, can you please give us some information as to how the MVP/Featured player is decided upon?

Title says it all. Please undo the the latest rework to the weapon. This change has made the weapon useless. I was cool with the previous nerf but now it's even worse. Its a Rare weapon, and its simply no good anymore. Please Make Whip great again. That is all.

This game is mere months away from dying for a fourth and truly final time. My advice to anybody still here on these forums, which really isn't many people at all, is to just walk away. There are barely any players left and the few who are still vocal/active post 95% complaints with suggestions that have gone ignored by the devs for nearly 2 years now. The devs have gotten to the point where they literally lie about their past statements/promises and delete the comments of people who try to call them out for it. Don't spend the next few months hating 90% of the time you spend playing this failed game until it dies and make yourself angry enough to waste time on these pointless forums. Just walk away. Go outside. Make new friends. Be happy. This game is done, it's time to just move on to greener pastures. I gained so much peace of mind from finally accepting that no matter how much potential this game has to be absolutely incredible doesn't change the fact that the devs will never let it be. I just hope other people can let go of all that stress Spacelords has caused them and find the same peace of mind.

Suggestions / Re: Antags. There must be a happy middle ground

The gold/faction reward bonus looks tempting. Right now when i try to get a blueprint on some specific (hard) maps and a rank 1 antagonist pops up, i automatically assume the match is lost (I'm low level with no forged weapons). And by that most likely a waste of time. it hurts even more when its a gold blueprint and i need to waste even more time trying to get wins back up.
I'm seriously thinking about just abandoning matches the moment antagonist pops up and not getting annoyed with it at this point. Not cool i know, but i stopped caring at last gold blueprint that took me over 5h to get...

I don't think you should abandon your teammates because of an antag.  Keep in mind that those players won't forget you and may abandon you while you're trying to get your precious rewards.  Of course in a Team based game, do what's best for you.

Shoot the faces with opened eyes, especially if you're having trouble getting Aleph in pig.  The main eyes don't take nearly enough damage as the eye opened faces.

Follow her around, Wound her, or stay out in the open so the pull want affect you. If your next to stuff then your screwed.

I agree, the wardogs healing becomes useless on higher mmr. They can take less dmg than the locals and die.

Hi guys,

The difficulty is something we tweak every weak (depending on your MMR) and it's always based on your feedback. The code you posted is dynamic and it changes almost everyday, so it makes no sense having it as a reference.

Please, remember our main objective is to make the game fun and challenging.

As always, thank you very much for your concerns :)

With all do respect, the game is not fun when you're wounded by every shot, or overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies. If theres a hoarde of enemies, fine, but can the firing rate and damage be reduced?
