hi again every one

back again for some matchs.
but i have a question about sooma first :

i encoutered people launching up to 10 spheres with redeemer, and i find that beautifull <3
but i was unable to undrstand wich mods they were using to do so.

does anyone knows please ?

hi all.

back to try new things. wont give my opinion about it...
but, since sadhu seems pretty dead now, wich weapon/cards are you using with shae ?
all shae i have encountered until now (2days) ar just poor victims... and i felt pretty useless when i tried her too...
tried some of her others weapons but none seemed usefull for pvp.

please host, if you see you have a bad ping :

1) disconnect to force host migration (not when mission is nearly ended obviously)
2) after match go in your option and block hosting.

please mse, stop bullshiting us with "our game recognises suiciders and we are taking actions against them."

i have been teamed up 3 missions this morning with the exact same guy who suicided in EVERY 3 missions.
1 times with 0 reasons, 2time... maybe because of a bad antag who scared him...? and last time, we'll accuse bad ping who could have been an annoyance.

so we can guess he always does that for any shenanigan who cross his stupid mind, and he has never been and will never be detected by the game wich has certainly no function to detect people like that...

and by the way, wich is the link to directly report players like that to you please ?

pot :
3players and huey, invaded by a first tier shae who had lowered its mmr, so elite snipers (and monsters in general) were faaar more deadly than she was.
i was playing a new character with forge 0 lvl, to obtain a BP, unfortunately her default weapon was unable to reach the boss.
same for the second player apparently (nilben)
the third player left the game.
pot lost.

second game :
harec invasion.
match full of improbable cqc bugs and unregular ping going from 80 to 300.
barely won.
but 0 fun all along.

third game.
hanging by a thread invaded by a valeria.
playing sooma :
--> on first and last part, other players had NOTHING to do except waiting around me that time pass and we could move on.
but they passed their time dying against antag like nobrainers and match was lost by instant death while we just had to reach the extraction point.

forth game :
for rare BP.
so i was playing the same useless new character.
teamed with huey AND lewey on an insane difficulty mission (no reservation). this bug ALWAYS happen when there is more than a bro cort in a team.
we could barely move, explosions were everywhere and OS us. without talking about pack of 3-4 elites full of aleph roaming the platformes.
rare BP lost.

fifth mission.
no reservation again.
4 first tier players.
very high difficulty and... a frenzied suicider.
with no reason.
he start killing himself in the 2 last parts and emptied lives while we were around 300 meters to the objective.

5missions and just a strong desire to uninstal and forget this game.

so why am i describing my daily gaming session, wich is of relatively few interest ?
because, except for nobrainers against devs are powerless, most of the things who happened today, are common problems the community complains about for VERY long time.

problems who destroy the game reputation more than anything and who won't be solved by 6545 (unwanted) different aleph modifications or shiny new characters

so at this point, devs have the full responsability for not acting against them.
and if this game dies, because players can't stand all this bullshit anymore, they will have the entire responsibility of their failure.

that's what is said under submission.
no penalty.

so i guess we have to consider that a BP and 3 mmr points lost because of an unplayable 999ping match are no loss ?...

i understand it must refers to 5mn ban for quiting, but it's not clear enough imo and i'm always angry when i see it while i know there will obviously be loss but we have no real choices except submission.

Suggestions / infinite emote

could you make some emote infinite in time (except if we break them by moving) ?
like dancing or siting emotes please (or any emote like that) ?

that's all ^^
but sometimes you just want to sit and watch the world burning or dance until your kneecap jump off your legs.
and you don't want to spam emote for that.

pretty fckg please, players, this weapons is made for only one thing.
only ONE fckg thing : defending stuff against engineers.
that's all : defending fckg stuff against fckg engineers, turning boring missions into easy missions.

but :
1) nearly no-one uses redeemer's sooma in these missions.
2) when they do, they ALWAYS just throw spheres everywhere uselessly like drunk galaxy.

so here is a free sooma guide to all nobrainers on this game (no need to thank me) :
1) put a sphere in front of the console/lever/stuff to protect from engineers (you can protect up to 5 spots at the same time).
2) if you're a bad aimer, like me, avoid using your gun furthermore except to save your life or you'll have to do it again.
3) wonderfull that's all.

now all engineers will die in your spheres before they can do bad stuff to good stuffs you have to protect (except at very high difficulty where they have too much health) and you have played your character as intended to, and usefully for everyone.

a small feature inspired by paragon.
in lot of mobas, there is "war" at the beggining of the match to know who goes where and does what.
in paragon, you has icones to announce and chose your role in the team.
it was quick and clear and drastically reduce the roles conflict.

obviously in spacelords, there is no lane to choose.
but, it does not change the fact that players can have dedicated roles in the team and that teams works better when players assume them.

so you could make the same feature for your game.
during the character selection screen, you can announce the role you want to assume during mission.

roles who comes in my mind right now, but there is maybe more, are :
- counter antag.
- grunts clearer.
- objective defenser. (when you have to keep console safe from engineers for example)
- mobility unit. (for aleph recolt or reaching lever for example)
- dps.
- multipurpose. (when you don't want to be assigned to one exclusive job.)

moreover i think it will help people to have more complementary teams and understand better the game mechanics.

i'm taking the opposite side of most people on the forum, so, i'm waiting for massive rejection, but i'm used to it.

the facts are :
- sorry but your AI is bad.
- mmr system is broken.
- randomness of pvp can be annoying.

make your game a true pvp game with the same achitecture you have in all of them.

-> a full AI mode with drastically reduce rewards and no BP, but with AI antag to get used of the game.
-> an always antag mode with a permanent difficulty for AI (you can add some small variations, but that's not a good thing imo, players will feel their strenght grow better with stated difficulty and it fixe mmr and AI problem at the same time).

no match can be launched without 5 players, so :
- or the antag is choosen randomly among them.
- or you can keep the antag option but if there is not enough antag, you'll still have to to choose one randomly.
so the only ramdom antag is maybe a better choice.
if people KNOWS that there is always an antag and that the game is based on it and he has not chosen it, it makes desappear the first cleavage of the game.

it works like that for ALL pvp games and it wont be a problem on this one neither.
randomness is the problem.

and then fixe cqc and ping and your game will be fixed as well.
imo, all you are doing rigth now, aleph, master of puppets anything... good or bad, are just useless patch, since you are not fixing the real problems of the game.

and i don't undertsand why you don't just start working on them directly and seems just avoiding them.
are you afraid that a part of you community just leave ?
imo a lot already left and the one who stays with random antag will stay with only antag mode because, there will have no bad surprises about it.
it will really be the game core, as you are saying it is.

i'm bored of dumb teams and useless players.

just looking 2 or 3 mates to play with regularly.
but with some requirement...  :D
- if you are a quitter/surrenderer/suicider : no.
- if you are afraid of antags or don't know how to defend yourself : no.
- if you only want to kill grunts and let others do the real job (except if this is your role in this mission, obviously) : no.
- if you just chose your character only for your score and not the mission : no.
- if you absolutly don't know what to do, dont want to learn, but rage because others doesn't carry you : no.
- if you are charging again and again, dying again and again without learning shit and without even thinking you should change your approach : no...
- if you think missions objectives are not clear enough : no, because they are.

but :
i don't care of your level.
i don't care if you still have to learn.
i don't care if you are not a pro-gamer or even if you die a lot.

just don't be a coward or a burden and have a brain.
and just send me an invite ingame with this name.

and it happens again...
on a gold BP =)
so fun ^^

we were on short fused, first mission of wardogs. (problems on wardag campaign again...)
sorry i do not have video this time.

there was an antag, our harec don't let him breath, so he was always dead. we had all our lives except if one had died by mistake against a monster but i don't think so.

we had finished the first part of the mission, we cut the animation scene, and the moment we came back on the second part, "failed mission" appeared. out of nowhere.
and then the result page showing the antag as winner. while this poor shae didn't even had time to fire is gun once...

and i can bet we were all 4 raiders  :o in front of our screen...

it already happens 1 or 2times before, with one time on this exact mission.
the other time i don't remember the mission but it was on wardogs campaign too.
