I wanted this game to be good but now it’s just a pile of bad decisions and poor choices played out over the same 17 levels.

New wound state is so short it may as well not be there.
Picking up aleph - not fun
Picking up ammo - not fun
Same 17 levels - boring
Unnecessary difficult spikes - not fun
Weapons that are not viable in any scenario - pointless
Matchmaking - grotty
MMR - perhaps the worst, yet most persistent bad choice made

I can’t be arsed with it.

It’s not anywhere near as much fun as it should be and this is a result of a selection of wide decisions and changes made to the game that, frustratingly, are not the correct changes that should have been made.

Honestly, if you still get some modicum if enjoyment out of this game then good for you but I would rather spend my time on something that actually isn’t antagonising, irritating and unfair.

I can see why it’s been implemented in PVP for those outlier matches but it doesn’t add anything to the game as PVE.

Secondly, outlier matches are exactly that. Outliers, why are we making major changes to the core game for matches that youve said aren’t very often?

It doesn’t really make sense. If you don’t enter the survive stage you get a zero score for it when it should be 100% and go down with every survival stage.

Assists is a better measure of skill than survives.

I understand that it might not give the best impression when new players are destroyed by a level 377 but can I at least see my level? Or the people in my guild?

This whole “Max” malarkey doesn’t do it for me at all. What’s the point in levelling up anymore? People (especially gamers) like to see a number increasing.

Hello!

I just played a game where I didn’t die nor entered wounded state and the end tally gave me a zero for survival.

Shouldn’t it be 100% if you don’t die at all, thus never entering a wounded state? And a fraction thereof for when you do enter wounded and recover?

Hello,

I do understand why starting a level with two players (& Cortez Bros) was implemented to reduce waiting time however can I please have the option to turn it off? 60%ish of my Raider games start like this. The chances of a successful game with me, baby Harec and the Cortez Bros on MOM is zero.

I think the concept is good but I’d like to be given the choice of playing now or waiting for two more people.

Hello!

I quite like the new MVP thing and how it factors into my overall score, this is a great idea, thank you.

If possible can we be told how it’s calculated? Is it purely on kills? Do all kills carry the same weight? If not then how is it broken down?

It would be good to see how scores compare between the raiders though, for a sense of perspective.

Also, can we please just cut Cortez? I’ve seen him so so many times and now all I want is just a one pager with the info and scores, I don’t need to get his opinion nor watch things tally as I’ve seen them thousands of times already.

I appreciate others may enjoy that so I’d only ask for the option to turn it off.

It should be automatically collected, like before, but with the excess left for others to pick up.

Leaving excess is helpful, leaving it all is annoying.

My MMR is 46. That is not high.

The others on the team are two fours and a five. They're not great. They're reasonably new.

There are ELEVEN MOOKS on this level here AND A TIER ONE ANTAG. At the spawning point. Honestly though, WTF? What kind of balance is this?

Why do you think this is fun? Let me answer that for you. This. Is. NOT. Fun.

Why do I, and the other people on the team have to sacrifice any enjoyment we get out of the game so that someone else can troll players on an unbalanced game?

I feel I have tried really hard with this game, given it a solid shot but it is utterly disrespectful of my time. Why would I buy skins for a game that actively goes out of its way to stop me from having fun? Why would I spend money on something that doesn't care a jot about my time as a player?

I'm told that the difficulty is tweaked weekly. Now, I'm no game developer but even I can see that whatever you're serving now needs to go back to the kitchen because it's f'ing inedible. You try and swallow this and see how well it goes down.

I want to play this game for fun; yet fun is the one thing that this game seems to try its level best to not be.

I need a breather from this game. It's not fun. This is the saddest part of it all, the waste of potential.

Suggestions / Antags. There must be a happy middle ground

Antags aren't going anywhere, for whatever reason, but there must be some way to mitigate the annoyance factor a little with them surely?

I've played 9 games today and there was an antag in 7 of them. I'm not totally against antags but that ratio is just a little bit much and feels a touch like I'm sacrificing my enjoyment of the game for someone elses which isn't very fair.

What about a scale, that we choose ourselves so we get input, as to how often we're happy to have an antag invade the match? Say every match scaling to one in five or one in ten? It also mitigates getting a run of them as I experienced earlier.

Or like MMR scales so does the likelihood of getting an antag? That way those who operate at higher levels and should technically be better equipped to deal with them are more likely to do so. I don't think this is the best solution but at least it would give the new members time to get up to speed.

Or, you only get an antag once you've won XXX games, the same mechanic as the rare guns? Or only when you're in a team as solo queuing and getting an antag is probably the worst.

Or not having an antag whose level is higher than the average level of all players? Or the top two players?

Or just have some reward at the end, say 5000 gold/Faction when you lose to an antag, tied to RNG like the BP's? That way you're not guaranteed to get anything but there's a chance you'll get something making a loss more palatable.

As far as I can tell only the people who antag a lot like antags (understandable) but the feeling of pointlessness you get when your loss as a raider is driven by someone trolling "checking their skill" that's what needs work.

Suggestions / PS4 - Teaming up in different regions

Hello,

I'm unable to team up with guild members who have a PSN from a different region (i.e. I'm NA they're EU).

I'm not sure if this is a Mercury Steam choice or if it's some artificial wall that Sony has put up?

I would be great, if there's anything that can be done from your side, to allow us to team up cross regions.

Gameplay Feedback / Things that could make the game more fun

Please can we have less engineers, especially on Low Blow.

It can turn into a war of attrition sometimes. Maybe have a set amount come out with each section? I appreciate that there might be a different requirement if there's an antag but when it's PVE it's not fun running around the map firefighting for 2/3's of the match.

Miners and Mines. Why do they have so much health? They're annoying to begin with but part of the game, ok, fine. But why do, especially, the mines have so much health? Who enjoys unloading full clips into mines? I'd wager no one.

If we have to watch three different screens at the end of the game (Cortez, rewards and XP) can we just condense them down into one? Or if we have to keep at the same amount can we at least have some stats in there? e.g.

Most damage done
Most Taken
Most Kills base
Most kills Elite
Most Assists
Most Aleph gained
Most lost
Most put into reactors etc.

If you want to throw some rewards to the winners - 50-100 Gold or factions that would probably go down very well.

Stats on weapons would be nice too. Maybe with faction rewards on hitting XXX kills?

I know the weapons have bounty and affiliation already but having them as other rewards for completion, like the EXP boost, would make a nice change and give people a bit of variation.

Being able to chose the time the rewards refresh would be useful. I'm in Thailand so the timing isn't great (for me). Not a major thing admittedly.

Hello,

Can we please implement a system whereby we choose which matches we want the 1.5/2x XP boosts to apply to? Rather than it just being the next four.

I could be missing it but I don't think it's an option?

Hi,

Can you please tell me the reasoning behind the requirement for 1800+ EXP in order to level up as antag? It seems arbitrary and forces people who want to just play raiders to play more games as antag unnecessarily.

Can we drop this down to 1000 EXP? This way we can help our guilds with the aequelibrum boost without being forced to antag in multiple games thus reducing the fun we're having with the game.

Hello,

I blocked someone on the game yesterday and today they are in my game? I have the option to unblock them too.

What does blocking actually mean/do?
