Bug report & Technical Support / Server Issues
 on: January 13, 2019, 11:31:58 PM
Having issues with invites on Xbox 1.

Any invites result in being told that the session is reinitiating, 1, 2, 3, then a black screen.

After that I'm told the servers are under maintenance & I have to force quit the game.

It's the same either end. If I send the invite, the other player runs into the problems, If I accept, I get the problems.

There' nothing wrong with either internet connection, or multiplayer connection & NAT is open on both ends.

If we search for a game individually, the game is fine & we can play, but not together as our levels & MMR are different, therefore the servers are fine.

Incidentally, there are no problems of this kind on PS4 as someone else in the house is currently teamed with their friends, so it's just Xbox 1

Bug report & Technical Support / Aequilibrium Dropping
 on: December 23, 2018, 01:48:47 PM
Hello, the Aequilibrium in my guild is dropping without anybody playing the game.
I took a video yesterday, just before I logged off, to prove it. The bonus was 23%
24 hours later, I log in & nobody has played since, it is now 18%.
It has been going down daily, despite my hard work & now I am losing the bonus for no reason, please fix it.

Gameplay Feedback / Aequilibrium & gold after update
 on: December 13, 2018, 07:45:06 PM
Not sure this is working properly since the update.

I created a guild & invited 2 people, who are yet to accept as they haven't been online.

I then played a raiders match & turned off as I needed to go out.

When I got back, it was down, from 40% to 35%, I played 1 more raiders match & the reward gave me a 32% bonus, even though it was 35 when I started the match. I played as antagonist & the bonus stayed the same. I searched for another match & it dropped to 31%,

What's going on here?

Before the update you had to level up before the Aequilibrium changed.
Increase level as a raider and it drops by 1%, increase level as antagonist and it raises by 5%.

As this was the case, I can't understand how 2 raiders matches and 1 antagonist match has lost me 9%, that's terrible & will only get worse when more people join.
Surely it's an error.

Now, to the gold.
This seems to have drastically decreased.
I played the above 2 raiders missions and got 800 gold for 1 mission and just over 1200 for another, while the level 2-5's I played with got 3400 & 5400 with no bounty weapons.
The levels were much much harder than before the update, in fact, hanging by a thread with 3 players level 5 & under was almost impossible & my MMR was only 37%, aren't they supposed to be easier?
We had elites dropping in & calling bombers, as well as ships dropping soldiers almost immediately after the previous ship took off, so we lost & I got just 800 gold while the others, who I had to carry as they had no idea what they were doing, got a much better reward & that's totally unfair, I did the hard work, killed the soldiers, blew up the ships, all they did was constantly die, but they get over 4 times the payout that I do?

My failed antagonist mission got me just 640 gold after 25 minutes hard work.
I am really shocked at the difference & TBH, that kind of reward isn't going to be worth the 25-45 minutes effort anymore, why is the reward suddenly so appalling?

I took out plenty of raiders & wasted nearly half an hour for a paltry 640?

I played another antagonist mission after typing the above, and the Aequilibrium then gave me a 31% bonus after the match and immediately dropped to 30% while I was in a queue & not playing.
Since I played as antagonist, if anything, that should have gone up, not down. There's definitely something wrong here, for sure!

Gameplay Feedback / Hanging By A Thread
 on: December 12, 2018, 12:24:53 PM
Just played this level with Valeria.

No idea if it's intended or an oversight. During the last phase, when you automatically respawn & have to rush to the end, we were given just 40 seconds to escape.

Valeria is a slow runner & if I stop to shoot, or assist, or even if I get shot, just once, she can't escape as there is not enough time since she had spawned too far away at the start of the escape phase.

There's absolutely no allowance for her to do anything else but run, in order to escape, including getting hit or shot just once.

I'm sure that it won't just be Valeria that runs into this problem.

I think the timer needs to be extended slightly, she needs a little more speed, or she respawns at the place she was originally at before the cut scene & the automatic respawn.

Gameplay Feedback / Aequilibrium
 on: December 07, 2018, 12:54:12 PM
Can you make this system a little bit fairer please?

Myself and 1 other person managed to get our group from nothing to 30%, after which I logged off.

When I came back, the leeches had already dropped it to 11%, so I decided to play & get some of the rewards that I contributed half the effort towards.

Before I levelled up, it was down to just 1%, and still nobody else is playing as antag.

I just don't think it's fair that they can all just leech the bonus without adding to it at least once per level up.

Now I have to go and earn it all back again or just tolerate the soon to be 0%, as it looks like the other person has somehow moved from the same tier1 room as me, leaving me to do it all on my own now.

Gameplay Feedback / Hosts bad ping ruins antagonist matches
 on: December 05, 2018, 05:51:23 AM
Please sort this out and stop making the host the person with a really bad connection speed.
My internet is fine, & my ping is always between 19 and 24 whenever i test it. However, I keep losing antagonist matches because I can't reload weapons due t being unable to win any melee fight at all, as you keep making the host the person with slow internet, which is dropping my ping to anywhere between 160 and 450.
As a result, it makes no difference at all how i fight, even noobs of level 2 are getting the better of me, every single time, when this happens & when you're level 120 it makes them think they're awesome & i'm rubbish.
It really needs sorting so that this kind of disadvantage stops happening as it's started to spoil the fun. I can hold my own against any level whenever the connection is fine, but this is getting old now. Please get it sorted, it shouldn't be happening.

Gameplay Feedback / Robbed!
 on: November 27, 2018, 09:05:04 PM
So, I was playing as antagonist on The beasts lair.
I get killed & there's no timer.
20 seconds later, the raiders are on a 30 second countdown to survive.
Still no revive timer for me.
They get all their lives back, still no timer.
About another 20 seconds after that, my 15 second revive countdown appears.
Needless to say, they end up winning.
Talk about daylight robbery!
That's just not right.

Suggestions / Minor Annoyances
 on: November 17, 2018, 02:49:16 AM
So, thought I'd start us of with a few minor annoyances that could use a revamp, tweek, removal or something else. Feel free to add to the list, if you think that changing something would make playing this game much better.
As a relatively new player, here's what i'd like to see changed.

Matchmaking.... mostly one person cancels, especially on mentor matches, or fails to accept a match. The 3 people left waiting then have to start their search again.

Why can't you just remove the person that cancelled, or failed to accept, and replace them with somebody else, instead of making everybody else start over again?

Cut scenes... 3 people (in the same room) press skip, 1 person, outside the group, chooses to watch. We all have to endure the same scenes we've watched several hundred times already. 3 votes overrules 1 vote, why do we still have to watch?

Either use a vote system, or just have us press and hold a button to skip, where the majority overrules again.

Rewards... We know what rewards we're getting already, we've already seen them. Why do we have to waste 2 minutes being shown them again, and then having to accept them on top of that?

Show us the rewards, all at once & allow us to move on with one single button press & no time wasted. Some of us don't have long left, in this world, you know. Game time is precious to us.

Disconnects.... Some players are taking advantage of this. I've seen people disconnect several times, and sometimes just once, only to appear again at the end & claim the rewards that the rest of us worked hard for, a man, 2 or even 3 down, which has actually happened to me.

If they're not back in 2 minutes, don't let them back & certainly don't reward them for doing absolutely nothing. It's bad enough our score suffered & we had to work even harder, without having to see leechers getting the same reward for logging back in at the last second, sometimes. The game doesn't get easier when we suffer a desertion, and it doesn't give us extra for all the hard work we put in when someone leaves at the start & returns at the end!

Griefers. Punish them, all of them. 3 of us were happily playing with a 4th random & an antagonist in short fused, when it was taking a while to complete the random wanted to surrender. The rest of us wanted to continue fighting. The random logged out, several times, & came back, several times. We were still doing well, despite the loss of a player, and then he returns to continually & deliberately head for the cliff edge & promptly commits suicide over & over, at every respawn. We still managed to hold our own against the antagonist & overcome 2 survival rounds, before the inevitable defeat due to the griefer killing themselves repeatedly.

All 3 of us reported the player, but our experience was ruined & tempers ran as short as the levels fuse.

I think that deliberate suicide runners should be removed after a handful of deaths, i'm sure there's a way to determine if someone is getting killed, by any means, purposely.

Blueprints... need to be clearly labelled. When searching for a level to play, they're either blue or gold & seem to be normal & rare, yet the weapons screen shows blue basic & blue advanced as well as gold basic and gold advanced. That's 4 types of blueprint on the weapons menu but only 2 on the level select.

How are we supposed to know which character to send in, for the blueprint they need, if there's 4 to use but only 2 that ever get displayed?

Just label them up more clearly so we don't have to waste time, effort & hair loss through stress, finding out that the character we sent in doesn't need the blueprint type the game has rewarded us with at the end.

That's my tuppence worth, & i'm sure that those changes alone would vastly improve everyone's experience within the game.
