Spacelords Universe / The Elephant in the Room: AFK Players

@TehMud and I were talking to Syrneth(sp?) in discord last night and he said there is an AFK system in place and a player should be booted after a time. He said any player that is AFK over a few maps is still there all they have to do is move the camera.
My question is; Why do they AFK at all?
Are they stuck in a loading loop? Having connection difficulties?
Syrneth assured us something is being done about AFK players in a game. I for one am happy about this. Every time I get in a match with a AFK player I feel like its a huge waste of time for me and the rest of my team.
@Sayoos(sp?) and I were talking about vote to kick, and having another player joining a match in progress. Syrneth said this would be exploitable, however I think it would be a welcome addition.
I know I would join a match in progress rather than sit in the queue waiting for a game to pop.

Join me in a Aw Yiss! for a new map and new blueprints coming this weekend! The new mission is called Breath of Hope and we get to meet a Protector! More story line to be revealed.

Bug report & Technical Support / Group member went Antagonist

We were in Hanging By A Thread coop with an antagonist and one of our group members suddenly went red too. We had two antagonists! Scared the heck out of me, lol

Bug report & Technical Support / Survive Screen at end of Match

We had just successfully completed the SHOCK coop match. As I went back into the matchmaking lobby the Survive Screen 69.9 appeared on the bottom for a moment.

Gameplay Feedback / New Tester, Hello!

I have had an absolute blast over the weekend with this game. I can see it becoming popular with its randomness and difficulty. Who needs more games with faceroll PVE? This game is not for the faint of heart.
My issues are as follows:
1) Beat Alien Myths, Shock solo, did not open up the Shae character. Shae ironically is the only character I want to play. Well.. I find Alicia fun too.
2) Matchmaking is terrible on PC.. waiting and waiting. Please for the love of god someone add me to their group: SlinkyLemure on Steam.
That's it for issues. The game ran fantastic with no bugs, no stuttering, no graphical issues. I played a few coop matches and the game was smooth as silk.
