I have used it quite often and really like the Whip now.  My biggest concern is the size and proximity of the thing. You have to be so close, that you can't see anything when firing at it.

Damage seems to be fine, and it moved pretty slow so you can keep up. I have to use cards that cause the downtime on portal timer to be lower otherwise the tactical effectiveness of it goes down the tube. It's strange that the ability cool down on this weapon is the longest of all her guns.

You would think the harder to use, the shorter the cool down, but with Valeria's guns that's completely the opposite.

I believe it is the same button for every single character. On Xbox it is the Right bumper (R1 for PS4 I think). On PC I have it set to shift but I do not think that was the default.

Some of the abilities you have to target an object or enemy, like Harec you need to target an eligible wall and hold and release to active it. Konstantine you just press the button, Lycus you need to run a bit (to build charge) then you can activate the shield.

That should cover all the default characters. You mentioned Hive. To use her ability, shoot an enemy, leech essence from them, then you can use the ability.

I would love custom matchmaking. Even if you eliminate rewards, or make them less (like the minimum rewards on your extra daily matches). It would be great to be able to practice as raider or antag in certain situations.

I just finished a match. I was MMR 31 now, Raiders were average 34.  Mission Difficulty was 24.

I know they debuff enemies and make less of them when an antag is there, but now they are also throwing in a handicap. Really strange. Once I figure out how to post screenshots I will

As for the rewards part of it. They should standardize the rerward system. There is no reason we should be penalized so bad for losing to a team that has such a large handicap bonus. Same goes for Raiders, there is no reason a raider team, should beat a very very tough MMR match and get no rewards just because the Antag was super low MMR.

I have played a bit the last few days (20 or so matches) and the handicap system is really confusing me right now.

the match I just finished I was MMR 43 and the team I was against was MMR 31 average. So it gave them a mission difficulty of 9.  (also had a match where there was no difficulty, and where they were at 21 these have to be  boring for the raiders and make the antag system a joke) I enjoy  playing Antagonist but 4 vs 1 with no AI help and Bosses with 10HP are boring for the Raiders, and pure frustration for Antags.

Is there a plan to fix this? I try to stay as high of an MMR as I can, but this handicap system basically says "Ok, it's time for you to play a 4 on 1 game, where the raiders can kill a boss in the time it takes you to respawn once"

Out of 5 antag matches today, 3 were this horribly handicapped, two were sorta ok but still pretty bad. Never once did I have the mission difficulty within 10 of my levels.

Sorry it's just getting worse and worse every week.

Rewards used to reset up to every 8 hours based on your level, but that changed with the Prizes Galore update, so they don't reset anymore.

Not sure how that increased the prizes, it sure doesn't feel like it.

I agree we should be able to mute Uras Beherit.

I actually will get up and leave my TV after a loss, not because of the loss, but because I don't enjoy the ridiculing afterwards. And sit back down, and que up to get ridiculed again.

This suggestion has a lot of depth to it.   There is the main portal fire rate and the ability use cooldown.

This is really a gun specific suggestion. Little Girl and Whip have fairly long ability use cooldowns, and Earthing and Shakura are very short cooldowns. I feel the portal spawn cooldown could be lengthened for Earthing and especially Shakura.

Though on Whip it maybe needs to be lowered just because of the proximity changes now.

As for portal fire rate, Shakura has a little bit of a default cooldown because it doesn't damage on the outgoing shot, only on the return. Even just a delay on how often the orb could switch direction. This one change would probably be enough to balance that gun.

Most "Fixes" i see to guns actually go too far but I could stand to see a little tweaking to Shakura.

Aura Mortis kills in one shot, and will even kill with head shots without charging it up with certain cards.

Shiver is the damage debuff. I really like it for many situations and it seems to effect all kinds of different damage sources. 50% reduction to anyone close to you, 75% at 5 stack.

I use shiver a lot as Doldren and that seems to help counter those quick downs from spores and other counters. Only prevents one shot so if I screw up I still die, but that's the life of a Doldren anyway.

Your post overall is pretty good though. A lot of times the new players are much more concerned with learning their character then the overall strategy of the map.

Heck, even I am sometimes, the single player maps just don't cut it for testing out things.

It's good you are putting these up for new players, I would also suggest letting them know these things nicely while you are playing with them. I have met a ton of people in game just by helping them, even when I am antagonist I will help lower level guys who are trying but just don't get it.

I love playing as teams of all locals, or all wardogs, etc. it's kind of fun when we get an antag and we have to really work together to use our strengths and limit how our weaknesses have an effect on the battle.

Friends I play with will do this and in solo que sometimes if 3 pick a faction, i will pick that same faction for an interesting match.

I don't have to win to have a good time. I have learned a lot in matches that i get my butt handed to me.

I do not believe you can shield the inner sanctum guardians right now on Breath of Hope. I tried a few times the last match I antagged. Was a very fun fight even without being able to shield them.
