Hi Laura

thanks for giving this a go but I am still getting the same error message & can't logon
To put you in the picture, I have 2 XBoxes an X and S
The X is set as my home console & is in preview
The S in not set as home & NOT in preview

On the X no one can play Spacelords as I guess the Live access is routed through my Glasgow Guy gamertag
On the S everyone can play Spacelords EXCEPT my Glasgow Guy gamertag

Despite deleting my account on your server I still think there is something server-side blocking me - is there a blacklist of blocked accounts ?

Hi Laura

I've just tried after the latest update & still get the same XBox Live error message

I did download the PC version possibly about a year ago & played it once while logged in on my XBox live profile, hoping it might get my account to "unlock" on the XBox, however as Its not a gaming PC it was unplayable

I've only ever played it under my Glasgow Guy XBox Live gamertag (once on PC and a few times when it was in Beta as Raiders of the Lost Planet)

If its even possible can my account be deleted server side & I can start from the beginning again?

I have exactly the same issue as you - played when it was Raiders.. went to play it again about a year & a half / 2 years ago & had the same issue
I've never got it resolved
Pretty sure its an account issue as my mate can play fine on his Xbox, but when I log in on his console I get the same message, he can then log in again & its fine again
The best the developers could come up with was to give them my XBox login credentials to try & see what the issue is logging in at their end - no chance !!
I have power cycled, uninstalled game, deleted gamer profile, reset machine to factory settings, changed open ports - no joy

I've had this problem since the game changed from Raiders of the Lost Planet to SpaceLords - I even managed to play when the game was in Beta; I have been on XBox Live Gold since the OG XBox.

I have tried to play on friends XB1's which they can play SpaceLords without any problems, but when I try to log on I get the issue of being unable to  contact microsoft servers

I'd suggest the problem is with my account not being recognised somewhere in the login process - there is no issue with my MS account, so I would think the problem is at the SpaceLord server, even though the error message says it is a Microsoft server issue
I have even changed the default XB1 ports to open & reinstalled the operating system & my Live profile without success

Any help or comments would be gratefully received

I have the same issue on my XBox One X & S

Ever since Raiders became Spacelords I cannot start the game with my main gamertag- when initialising I always get a message saying there is a problem with Live & to check its status

However I can log in with my alternate gamertag and play the game
Switching back to my main gamertag it relaunches the game & again get the same unable to connect to Live

I have tried everything I know of to fix this - resetting console, deleting profile & re downloading it,redownloading the game, deleting save locally & on the cloud, deleting the reserved space, power cycling - nothing works & am now thinking its a Spacelord account issue
The fact it happens on 2 different consoles seems suspicious to me; my X is in my routers DMZ and the S has its ports forwarded
Any help much appreciated
