Spacelords Universe / Re: Let's have a chat about Antagonist.

My idea is to give Antagonist the shield Kuzman has in the mission 'In Shock' where you wont take shot damage and are melee invincible until it's down. This way a Raider just cant rush you unless they knock the shield down.

All other 4v1 games give the 1 person buffs to compensate for being alone but this game doesent and relies on grunts to be effective which they cant since there undertuned badly.

I actually like the Idea of the Antagonist Only abilities, make it where each faction has a unique blessing of Uras-Beherit, instead of a faction themed ability, to make Beherit more prominent. It should also take 1 aleph charge to activate the blessing. I'm not good at game balance, but I thought that these would be cool ideas for the blessings.

Beherit's Cunning (Locals): Vanish into another plane of existence, invisible and untouchable for a period of time.

Beherit's Ferocity (Wardogs): Temporarily increase movement speed, fire rate, reload speed, and health regeneration speed.

Beherit's Strength (Hades): Temporarily gain a boost in Health and Melee damage

Beherit's Resilience (5th Council): Pretty much the shield idea just make it a green bubble shield with Beherit-themed effects

I dont t know what you are talking about here, but hans is the most beloved character by the devs and he was kept being buff but not nurfed. He is good for both ve and vp. So what do you want to change about him? See destiny, there are 3 types of thrust systems, double/triple jump, hover, and somewhat conventional thrust.
Yeah, but in destiny you can use those movement options again as soon as you touch the ground. We're just saying that we don't want to wait 20 seconds to use like 3 seconds of jetpack time. I suggest making it where instead of the long cooldown time as soon as you stop flying (and resetting the timer if you use it again when you still have some fuel), make the fuel slowly regenerate when not in use, similar to the jetpacks in the Halo games.

Spacelords’ Advice / Re: Tips for A Breath of Hope as an Antag?
 on: November 28, 2019, 07:16:31 AM
I know Ginebra can be a solid pick for this mission, the Schluder or J.Wheel can be your best friend especially in the first  part since there are so many walls and narrow corridors, and Cougar form can help you traverse the map or make a quick escape by climbing up walls that normal raiders can't the second section may require a little more hand to hand combat if they get to that part, but people tend to huddle up near the spawn point so there's a chance to knock one raider into another.

Suggestions / Re: Character Viability
 on: November 24, 2019, 07:37:49 AM
Not everyone needs to be a "boss killer" or an "object carrier" Some Characters when they aren't that effective at doing said objective can  become what I call enforcers. Whenever they aren't really effective at doing the objective they can instead be useful clearing out any threats (soldiers, elites, antagonists, etc.) to your teammates who are actually good at doing the current objective, allowing your buddies to focus more on the objective instead of having to stop what they are doing to deal with somebody who's shooting or punching them.
For example: in "Short Fused" Harec is very squishy and the map is very long and open, he's the worst choice at carrying the cannister in the first part, and shouldnt be getting close to a hoard of wardogs to get Aleph in the second part. But I like to use him for this mission. He is still a viable choice if you use him to cover your teammates.
In part one he can stay near Loaht's hideout, take some cover and pick off the gunners on the tanks, taking out the cannon fire of of your friends for a while, and then pick off any more wardogs attacking the guy holding the cannister, so they don't have to drop it for as long...or not at all. Plus if the carrier puts the cannister in a spot that Harec can see, he can quickly speed up the detonation.
In part two he can stay on the side with the extractor, and can destroy it when the team needs some extra time while they gather aleph. He can snipe the mad dogs (the armored ones with rocket launchers) as well as the elites before they snatch the aleph gems (If they do get Aleph he can soften them up with body shots so your friends can easily beat them down) and then he can provide cover fire for his teammates when they run back to deposit the Aleph in the extractor.
Some people may call out that all you are doing is killing the enemy and not helping the objective, But you are helping them preform better by keeping the baddies off their backs.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Elite invulnerable
 on: November 24, 2019, 06:41:13 AM
It's not just that, I also believe that people are also just really dumb as I have seen many people try to punch a invuln heavy, over and over and constantly bouncing off and not realizing that it's not working until they die, and even then they don't learn anything.
But in all seriousness maybe give them an Aleph themed glowing effect or an energy bubble surrounding them may help make it more obvious that they are using their Aleph and can't be harmed by melee, but also show newer players that they can still be shot.

Yeah I hate how you aren't aloowed to use the jetpack for 20 solid seconds until it's usablle, Why couldn't it have it regenerate fuel like in most games with jetpacks, I don't want to constantly land near an enemy and punch them in the face so I can get back in the air over and over. Gets boring after a while. and there are other talents I wanna try to use like the increased Jetpack speed and combine it with the USU-21 for even more damage

Sounds like a nice blend behind Cookie and Popcorns, I had the same Idea execept that the first grenade splits into two nades and then those two nades split into two more, and the first grenade hurts  more than the smaller grenades

Spacelords Universe / Sooma can take away our physical pain but...

Can she endure our emotional pain as well. Could she relieve a man of his crippling depression but experience it herself?

Suggestions / Re: A new raider idea for Fifth Council
 on: August 08, 2019, 05:12:36 AM
I actually had my own idea for a 5th Council unit who uses incendiary weapons that can cause Damage over Time. Haven't decided on an ability yet.

They just moved it to the right side of the main menu, above the tutorial videos.

Gameplay Feedback / Clueless Newcomers
 on: May 14, 2019, 10:58:45 PM
Is it just me or does almost every match with an unranked player they dont seem to know what they are supposed to do? They do one or more of these things...

Shoot elites to death
Melee the elite when they have aleph especially heavies
Not grab aleph...AT ALL
Trying to overload objectives with Aleph..but they don't have any
Ignore engineers/looters
Charging head first into enemy hordes without a plan or even realizing what the objective even is (the amount of times I had witnessed the noob(s) charge at the slicer tanks as soon as the mission starts is to much
Not using their abilities
Not taking cover
Complaining about not having ammo
Rage quit after dying 3 or more times

I know that MSE has put several tutorial videos up on the main menu but apparently no one watches them (I always watched or played tutorials and read manuals with every game so I don't suffer as much) so they go into a match thinking that it's just going to be another spunkgargleweewee shooter. Something needs to be done about it.

I have also gotten use to the drop system very quickly, I always tend to adapt to new mechanics quickly. Also Englesgarrd, sorry for all the deaths as shae on double agent, i didnt equip the right cards for my asi. Also I rarely play as the locals so I am not used to getting downed by lasers.

Spacelords’ Advice / Re: Ayana's Hook
 on: April 25, 2019, 12:50:20 AM
I'm pretty sure if you wound her the hook will detatch, also since it's powered by tension if you can keep it low by following her line it wont be able to be able to snap
