Title: A pro scene?
Post by: Poetpix on February 27, 2019, 05:58:58 AM: I feel like a pro/ competitive mode for spacelords could help it grow, but as of now it doesnt support any kind of competitive aspect. It would need a new mode.

If it did, what mode would you want to see? Or think would be fun? Or nah keep that stuff away from my spacelords?

Also, it can't be true PvP if there are passive stats (the 50/50/100% you get from levels) and weapon forge levels that give you more damage against lower ranks. The only way to have a truly fair PvP match to merit a pro scene would be to have all players max stats and forge or to remove passive stats and forge levels.

Would be great for testing, for streaming and so on.

Yea, we don't need the woke blue hairs gunning for this game. Pro scene would just bring it under fire by them. totally agree.

Like Drow said it would require a pure balance which would disturb the PVE side of the game making weapons less effective and for a game direction the devs are going towards.

Perhaps if there was a separate 4v4 PvP mode with no character stats and generic weapon damage you could achieve this. Truthfully though outside of those that stream and love this game already you really don't want the mindless minions of the pros to kill this game in less than half a day.
