I’d absolutely love, love, LOVE! To see some holiday events in Spacelords. With some limited availibility content like skins, weapon blueprints, or possibly even missions to give said blueprints?
For skins, a Grim reaper Doldren skin would be super dope for Halloween.
If we got “Santa Rak” where he kept his bugs in a sack, I’d buy it a heartbeat.
I think if reasonably priced, holiday skins would drive your sales.
Holiday Weapon blueprints would be super cool too. Give them their own rarity color and have them pop up once per reward refresh during the event time. Although, I think it’d be best if they were cosmetic reskins of weapons that already exist, but allow us to build them separately. You could make Alicia’s Novera shoot like firecrackers for New Years.
Ayana could have a Christmas magnet so she drops exploding gifts in place of mines.
Or for Valeria, (this might be too elaborate but sounds dope) have a re-skin or little girl for Halloween that could turn her gate red and demonic looking, and fire out a giant flaming skull. Maybe even some sort of dark summoner skin to go with it?
It’d be fun to have some sort of goofy one off missions for holidays too. Like a Christmas mission where the wardogs stole the toys for the children of the broken planet. Tie this in with the blueprint idea, and offer the holiday blueprint chance once every reward refresh.
Overall, I think holiday events would be a fantastic addition to the game. It would draw sales for skins, and get the community playing at the same time and improve our queue times for a week.

Good idea I'll throw in some skin ideas. For Ginebra hellhound. shae wicked witch, Rak Mayura Santa clause, and also think Valeria should get some sort of demon evil skin also Ayana may be able to pull off witch as well

I do not see this being implemented simply due to lack of developers to produce these events in a timely matter seeing how long campaigns, character, and new skins take. Unless they plan this in advance by approximately 6 months while balancing changes and new additions along the way. This is a marvelous idea and would love the see at least some implementation of a seasonal event. I just don't see much plausibility, but would love to be proven wrong.

No, please not! No santa or pumkin-head skins like in all the other MMO's, I'd rather have more skins that fit the story/history/universe of Spacelords.

Very true. I absolutely wouldn’t expect to see it this year. It’s more of a “pie In the sky” kind of suggestion. Maybe one day though.

Your point is fair. I love the effort they put into the lore behind every skin, expands the universe with ever skin release. I just like the silly stuff too.

no need to make it silly, maybe a ice theme skin or related to cold planets could fit for christmass.

Personally, I think that for the raiders we cant apply what normal holiday skins with the raiders as it will seem really out of place. Halloween being the exception as really anything could pass. What if we instead had holidays from the local culture and have skins based on them. Considering the past of the broken planet,many forgotten traditions could be there to explore, like how the mayans and aztecs are to us, a culture vastly seperated from our senses of normality.

Perhaps we're putting too much thought in the how and why. Whether this will be implemented or not, let's have fun coming up with ideas for the topic.
By the by I change my mind with who should be Santa for Christmas, It really should be Rak Mayura. It just makes sense, although if Rak is Santa the Loath and his Beast for should be Krampus, oh man just think about it, a scary demon santa running around with his hooves and horns.

With the knowledge of Raiders identity update coming some time im willing to bet seasonal effects or Raider ornaments to be added, like how "Old man lycus'" white streak hair. I feel like it will be plausible without having to find lore for it, like that lawn mower head peice for Alicia, just silly little peices for Raiders on the holidays. Rak needs a white beard red coat combo

Those are really creative ideas! Though we have no plans to implement the seasional events in the short term, we'll have all these suggestions in mind if the opportunity arises ;D
