So for everyone having trouble with the super-fast squid drone, and don't have a toasty Warm gun to melt it? Fear no more, Dr. Kuzman is here to save the day!

For the record we eventually failed this mission due to the later enemy swarm.... but at least we got further than 4 minutes, which is the average time it takes to fail now with the super-sonic-speed squid racing to the finish line.

Yeah, speeds up the more damage you do to it. Forces you to have Warm or everyone has to focus on the drone. Stellar job with the Kuz!

Really hoping this is addressed in a patch or a hotfix as there must be plenty of evidence by now to suggest this is by no means normal.

Warm is still the best way by far to deal with it, and I never expect that to change. But if you don't have Warm on your team, and no Kuzmann, you're screwed. Definitely seems like a glitch.

I've never beaten the drone without warm or kuz since the patch, except when an antagonist shows up. And I honestly hate that Hans players feel forced to use Warm on objective parts because it is a trash-tier weapon for dealing with enemies and players.

Hello guys,

It is a bug indeed. Thanks for noticing it. As you might have read in the patch notes, we adjusted the difficulty on A Weapon From the Past, but the drone's erratic behaviour is not what was intended. We have reported it to our QA department and we'll solve it as soon as possible -probably via a hotfix.

It's okay... sometimes the robots evolve... and find ways to kill off the humans more efficiently. What's hilarious is how ridiculous the community is in passing these missions even with the off the rails spike. I can't deny it is sort of fun playing when the game goes hyper speed as you feel like a total boss when you stop them from Zerging you!

Luckily we have found ways of adapting, but it took several failures to figure that out.... or always teaming with a Warm Hans, lol
