Gameplay Feedback / Re: Lower MMR Difficulty
 on: August 09, 2019, 12:36:20 AM
Still no Dev response yet, huh? Dang. I haven't played in a while. I got my MMR down pretty low, in the teens I think. But, if I play with my freind and we get randos with 40 MMR then we will get a game with an average MMR of the 30s. And as far as I know they haven't fixed anything with the difficulty yet so I still haven't logged on. Until we get a squad of 3 or 4 players with all insanely low MMRs it will be a shit show.

Sometimes I start to log in, but then I think, "Ah...I changed my mind, I don't feel like dealing with bullshit and stress." as I remember the last time I played the game and horribly unfun it was with the massive mobs, high health and high damage in the 30% range.

Remnant is around the corner, and it's basically a horror like Spacelords but with dedicated PvE. I like the characters here better than that game so I'm hoping they can improve things here.

You godda ask the question; How does MSE view new player experiences on these low MMRs? We're talking about players with zero to very low passive stats to mitigate weapon and melee damage or deal it. Players with incredible low to no forge level on their weapons. Who most likely don't have the more advance BP and just the basic weapons. And finally only a basic knowledge of the game coming in. How are they able to deal with the difficulty of these MMRs that are supposedly supposed to be at their level when tier 1 players with max passives and forges are having a challenge from it? Is this a glitch? A mistake? I'd like to hear what MSE says on this. And if on purpose then how they consolidate the idea of new players having to deal with these new difficulties. And if it overall healthy for the game.

Fourth, the MMR and difficulty. I never understood why enemies have to become bullet sponges and deal 30 damage per shot at 50% MMR or above. Shouldn't MMR be capped at about 60 then? Who are you making this game for - The Divison fans? The very same people that spend about 200 bullets to kill a single weak mob? How do you expect people with Forge Lvl 0 to deal with them? And how do you expect T5 players to deal with Status 5-1 players? Difficulty spike? You're digging your own grave with this matchmaking.
I think the difficulty spikes are one of the worst offenses. Sometimes Raiders and Antagonists have a diffenrence of 1%, but the difficulty scales to 20% for more or less. How does that even work?

Yea, I had the WORST day playing Spacelords because of them. All 5 games were consistently horrid and we were in the 30s for MMR. They need to fix this quick. Can't see playing a game I have no fun playing. Damn I wish they wouldn't have made these changes. I was wondering what all the anger was on Discord when I was at work. Then I get off and play the game and they were right, this is terrible. Unless you are antag, then the game is better than it's ever been. But MSE need to decide if they really want to make this game worse for 4/5ths of the players.

Cool thanks for teaching me about MMR. Im lvl 80ish and I keep getting Tier 1 rank 1 antags or w/e, purple with a 1 next to it and impossible AI. Each grunt takes like 2 reloads to finish off and the engineers complete objectives faster than me and my team can stop them because were to busy tip toeing around invincible elites and overpowered grunts.

You have to go WAY low now to have any semblance of fun. They allowed the harder difficulties to bleed downstream now. so it sucks even at lower MMRs, like 30% range. I'm going to go down to 10% or lower myself. This shit just ain't any fun anymore.

Gameplay Feedback / Lower MMR Difficulty
 on: August 03, 2019, 07:31:10 AM
You have WAY too many spawns at lower MMRs. I had 5 missions in a row that wwre absolutely no fun at and they were all in the 30% range. TOO many grunts, TOO many elites, TOO much health for low MMR and TOO much damage for low MMR. I notice it doesn't adjust these values much when an antag is present. The matches are 30 minutes or longer. And the rewards are not worth that long of a game and with no entertainment value at that.

PLEASE do something about your MMR difficulty. I am forced to lower MMR even further than usual now just to enjoy myself as a Raider. Keep in mind I don't active antag and have a clean reputation of never fighting against raiders when I lower MMR and so I am not one of those antags who lower MMR to have an easy time against Raiders.

But this is a HUGE problem. I had THE WORST time playing this same that I've had in a LONG time. I find it hard to say good things about this game or to even log on after todays horrid experience.

I'm not sure what you guys are trying to do exactly with this game and what the purpose of these changes was but it feels REAL bad.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Ginebra's ability is pretty crap.
 on: July 30, 2019, 05:20:52 AM
Yes it is. They nerfed it a while back because people complained that it was too strong in survive mode and she could carry Raiders through the survive mode. Now that they have sudden death as a mechanics they never bothered to revert the nerfs.

In case you were unaware, they nerfed her speed, health and armor and stealth. It's a pretty useless special ability, you have to card for it to be nominally useful.

I see desperate self destruct mode has occurred. We're getting nervous now, aren't we?

-> no argument
-> nothing to do in the topic
-> nothing to do with what i explained,
-> only criticisme
'-> a no-one ( ;) ) saying nothing, trying to be something. again.

next time try at least to be constructive.

This section of the forums is called Gameplay Feedback in which MSE describes, "Tell us all about your gaming experience here." not "Go and bash on others experiences." You can't have a "wrong" experience in gameplay. do you understand this "sonofoz"? This means there is no such thing as wrong feedback. This sub section is purely for the expression of people leaving their feedback for MSE to read and consider.

The other part I see you being a dick on is Suggestions, in which MSE themselves state, "Have any ideas to improve the game? We’d love to hear them!" no, however, "sonofoz, please com here and act as gate keeper of ideas for us, we can't think for ourselves as developers."

What this means is that there are no wrong suggestions or wrong feedback. If you would like to leave a post about an idea, feedback or suggestion you have based on your experience then go right ahead. But neither of these forum sections say the fucking word "Debate here". This means I owe you no explanation. No points, no argument, no criticism, no nothing. All we have to do here on these two parts of the forum is A. Leave our feedback for MSE based on our experience in the game and B. Make suggestion for MSE based on our ideas and experience. Not, however C. Debate sonofoz and get his fucking approval and stamp of "valid argument".

So, sir please kindly reconsider what section of the forums you are in and ask yourself if your actions are appropriate for Suggestions and Feedback. Again, this isn't a debate section. We will continue to report you so long as you keep harassing, attacking and goading people on with insults and trollish tactics. If you don't like a suggestion or feedback of a players experience then I would ignore it or post your own.

Seriously, he's like a puppy, following you around, pissing and pooping all over the place. Always has to have the last word and continues replying to me when I've told him, I ignore anything he has to state.

Just keep reporting him. Most of the time I don't even respond to what he posts, I just report. It's not really worth responding, he just keeps going and going with the toxicity and insults. I've been telling others to do so as well. He apparently has a LOT of people who dislike him. It'e very easy to see why. Just keep reporting him, over and over and over.

As a 72-78% MMR player in my days, yeah. The challenge is unfair, stressful and is not rewarding enough. I learnt to manipulate the MMR in my favor. The hard way.

So, if you are a loot player you want to be in the 0-20% MMR. It's another way to play this game. The boring part is to low your MMR once a while to just enjoy it. Some kind of difficulty selection would have been appreciated, but meh.

Yea, it's super boring. I wish there was a way we could choose a difficulty and just stay at that spot. At least for PvE. In light of there not being one I would like the ability to surrender as antag. It would make lowering MMR so much more quicker.

There this thing called challenge... thats why.

Not everyone plays for the same reason Serg. That't not to say people who play for challenge are wrong, just that there are more reasons than just that. And they have differing levels of importants to different people.

I highly recommend reporting this guy. He is incredibly toxic to this community. We don't need this type of person here.

sonofoz: Reporting is used against people who are acting like asses, toxic, demeaning, insulting, condescending, and insulting. These are all quality that you posses in spades.
