I’m in US as well. Depending on the map and if I wanna’ be Antagonist, I can sometimes wait 10-15min for a match. In queue to Antag now, surfing forums while I wait. :-P

I would think that it helps to add a level of communication between Raiders without Voice Chat so they can coordinate moving on the objective. Thankfully the Antagonist can select both Where and When to respawn so there is still a level of unpredictability and strategy involved.

I was quite happy to see Alicia get a new card, but I'm a bit confused on the phrasing of it. It says "vertical downward shots," but does that mean STRAIGHT down or can they be something like a 45 degree angle while hovering?

Nothing wrong with that! I've started to prefer going against Antagonists rather than straight PvE matches. Not only are the rewards WAY better and the difficulty better balanced, but it adds a refreshing wild card to the proceedings.
And yes, I like to stir the pot a bit as an Antag from time to time as well, though I usually feel at least a little bit guilty killing innocent players.

Very helpful suggestions, thank you! My team had our first run-in with a high-level Hans and it was a nailbiting experience. Sticking with an ally is definitely advised.

Anyone recommend playing as one of the Broken Planet Locals?
I've been playing for a month or so now, and I enjoy a little bit of every character and faction. However, I have a hard time playing as both Harec and Shae, potentially due to their low health pools and sniper-based weaponry. Shae in particular eludes me, as I just can't quite wrap my head around her guns (I unlocked the Focus for her). Anybody have any tips or suggestions for how to potentially get some added enjoyment out of these two?

I believe one of the patch notes mentions decreasing the spawn amount, which is a Godsend. Those frickin' porcupines are rough!
