Spacelords Universe / Re: Antaganist question
 on: October 03, 2017, 05:02:40 PM
It works as this:

You win a game, you'll be rewarded Stigma. The amount depends on your performance.
When looking at the antagonist league in the main menu you'll find yourself in the list with the rank (Icon with a number to it) you will be rewarded -at the end of the season (a week)-.
Check the timer on the upper right on that screen to know when the qualification ends.
This timer resets every week and so does the league.
The first 20 Stigma you gather will be kept, no matter how often you lose but everything above 20 Stigma will be cut if you lose. The screen at the end of your mission gives more info on how much Stigma you (would) lose.

IMPORTANT:
Once you are rewarded a rank, you'll only get to keep it for one week!
In other words: You will be rewarded a rank -every- week, even when you haven't gotten a single Stigma.

"buy" what characters exactly? Do you mean the needed gold to unlock Hans?
You should have access to Mikah due to owning the founder's pack, given you've installed the latest patch (because there was an issue with the pack on Xbox afaik).
If not: Please give more detailed info so the devs can figure out what's going wrong.

All credits to Mafer, she made it. :)

There are a lot of annoying things in this game that make its majority lol. Too bad the devs do not talk about solutions and only say "sorry you feel that way".

ouch ,reminds me of  battleborn forums.

Don't you crack my old wounds open. T-T

Bug report & Technical Support / Re: Antagonist system
 on: October 02, 2017, 10:45:37 PM
Hey there!

Fear not, it's not a bug.
The system works as this:
At the end of every week's timespan (let's call it a season) of the antagonist league qualification, you'll collect the Stigmas to get ranked.
While you surely were expecting to keep your gained rank (...so did I), bear in mind that you will be ranked -every- week.
Not taking part in the antagonist league meant not having a single Stigma and therefor being rewarded the corresponding rank...
I find this system unfortunate in regards of the requirement for weapon unlocks but I like the hard reset it makes with every end.

TL;DR: You always keep your gained rank only for -one- week and you have to re-qualify for a new rank every week.

After the several posts I have placed on here and messages I have sent to mercury steam, I have been contacted by the studio today. We talked back and forth for some time. Points were made on both sides and I know have an actual belief that the Devs are in fact hard at work to make this a game that they and us as the founders and fans can all be proud of. They have promised to answer all questions and deal with all issues in more of a timed manner as well. The conversation has restored my hope and faith in this game.

Hey, that's good news!
A little less drama would have done a long way imho but I am still happy to see you've come to the table and talked about things. :)

I am not sure that the way you're making your latest posts helps communicating in a mannered way, you know?
(No, I am not related to the studio in any way if you're wondering)

But...I am quite sure you have no real idea how a studio of this size has to organize its workload and accusing people of stealing doesn't help much either, mate.
At the end of the day you paid for a running game and I am sorry to tell you that this is the case for the majority of the time at the majority of all players.

Back to topic: All you actually want to report is a crash and server downtime while watching the antagonist rank timer reach 0, right?

Kuzman or Mikah!   :D

I'm kinda thinking of pulling out the sketchbook and seeing if I can do something interesting with one of the raiders. Question is, which raiders haven't been drawn yet? Mikah? Shae?

+1 for Mikah.

Gameplay Feedback / Antagonist spawn locations
 on: October 01, 2017, 03:41:37 AM
Hey there! (aaagain)

In this thread I'd like to discuss the current spawn locations for antagonist players with you.
Feel free to discuss all aspects of it.
NOTE: When taking part in the discussion, please always mention the mission name AND the phase to clarify what spawns you are referring to.

My input so far:

Prologue (Phase 2):
I find the spawn locations to be placed unfortunately to the left of the Raiders in their favour.
It's easy for 2 of them to suppress the antagonist at any time by sniping said corner and camping the one spot behind a crate nearby the stairs while one is at their turret and gets the job done.

Gameplay Feedback / Menu navigation on consoles / with gamepads
 on: October 01, 2017, 03:21:07 AM
Hey there!

I noticed that the shoulder buttons of the controllers are rarely used in menu navigation (if at all).
It would be nice to be able to navigate all tabs where used via those buttons (L1 and R1 on PS4 controllers and LB + RB on xbox controllers) as seen in other games. :)

Let me know what you think of this and if you have more suggestions regarding the navigation of the menues on consoles / with gamepads.

(Please keep in mind that this is solely about said navigation on consoles / with gamepads. If you have other feedback, please post it elsewhere to keep things focused and easier to track)

#HansIsBae

;P

Poor Hans needs some love in the skin department - let's kill two birds with one stone.

On a related note, I really appreciate that the skins are all believable within the context of the world, and aren't just ridiculous and goofy to fit the F2P model. If you can write up a backstory giving us a Hans with butt-jiggle, I'd be in all the way.

I was thinking pretty much the same!
I love the skin for Alicia before the "thing" happened to her -because- there is a backstory.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Hans is OP
 on: October 01, 2017, 01:37:47 AM
In before the Mikah is OP thread pops up.

But seriously, I would say Konstantin is the strongest Antagonist in many situations. Hans is definitely a nuisance as Antagonist, but a good Konstantin can ruin his day. I find most of the Raiders are quite balanced with good counters, and I've encountered some frightening antagonists in many different forms.

I second this.

Considering the amount of grinding and required time playing Antagonist to use them, I don't think one can consider rare weapons an assumed element of a character.

You'd be suprised, mate.
Plus: It actually does make sense to expect an antagonist to have a good weapon due to good antagonists being the ones who actually have access to said.
So when you get a beating, you might just have met one of them.

You might want to tell people what platforms you play on and what region / timezone you are in.
