Suggestions / Hi Karen - Please read this
 on: February 28, 2019, 03:54:38 AM
Hi, this is my second time posting and I’m just going to keep posting it like a petulant child until something is done about it.

As the experience progression boost is linked to aequilibrium meaning that those who do not want to antag are forced to, in order to retain a semi-decent exp boost, can we please at least make the amount required achievable in one losing game?

This would not affect those who like to antag. They will continue to level up in the same way they would, however it would allow those who do not want to antang but feel obliged to do it once to help their aequilibrum and in turn their guild without an overly detrimental effect to their gameplay experience.

Thank you.

Suggestions / Last Played Date in Guilds
 on: February 27, 2019, 01:29:37 PM
Hello.

For those of us with open guilds it would be good to see when the last time people played was in Order for us to be able to remove those players who no longer play. This housecleaning opens up slots for those who do still play to join and gives new players access to more guilds.

Thanks.

Suggestions / You Cant Spell Antag without F.U.N.!

Oh wait, you can. It's literally the only way to spell it.

Hi.

Can we please make this bigger or flash or stay on screen for longer as I feel many people must miss it.

Thank you.

Suggestions / Newbies vs The World
 on: February 17, 2019, 12:16:15 PM
Here’s a suggestion. Maybe make the game a bit softer on newbies? Just a bit so it’s fair? Just so they stand a chance. Just so they can enjoy the game, get a feel for it, get hooked, before it goes full hardcore, balls to the wall, your mothers watching and is disappointed in you Spacelords? And increase the rewards for people playing mentor matches while you’re at it, give us a light at the end of the slog to look forward too. Who knows, maybe this would increase the player count to the level where MMR wpuld be relevant?

Overall I doubt new players enjoy getting their faces smashed continually. It’s not fun for me watching it either, watching the teams lives slowly evaporate into nothing as an unranked player sacrifices themselves to an Elite who then rampages the rest of the team.

Gameplay Feedback / MMR is a poor mechanic
 on: February 12, 2019, 04:38:29 AM
MMR.

The bane of my life. I understand that it's supposed to match me with similarly skilled players but it doesn't does it? Because the player pool is so small you end up getting matched with people of all levels. OK, I would rather play than wait; but because the difficulty is set through some arcane mix of everyone's MMR, each players star sign and whether or not Mercury is in retrograde or ascending it means I have literally no idea how difficult a level is going to be.

Sometimes its a total cakewalk and I can fart my way through it.

Sometimes it's more difficult than embalming yourself while singing the Nepalise national anthem.

There is no consistency and that's the problem.

NONE.

It annoys the F* out of me. I don't always want to go up against enemies stronger than the Hulk. Sometimes I just want to have fun and play a game rather than constantly struggle to just breathe because even the baseline mooks are as strong as tier 1 Avengers.

When this game is fun - something that does not have a direct correlation with difficulty - it is a huge amount of fun! However at the same time I feel the game does its level best to avoid being fun far too often to be funny.

The option to set the difficulty myself, at the level I want to play at the time is the answer here. I'd imagine it would also help with keeping players too as they would have some granular control of the difficulty of the game as opposed to being thrown in with people who have several hundred levels more experience than them.

All I want is some semblance of consistency. I just want to know what kind of game I'm going to play.
