Gameplay Feedback / The game have issues but...
 on: October 21, 2018, 08:14:35 PM
I really have fun playing it, I often have problem playing "online only games" for some reasons but Spacelords, to me, is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever experienced.

I really enjoy the Angonist machanic, even though it can really be frustrating (I mean playing as an Anta) and I also like to help new players. The problem is they often quit (Idk if there's actual consequences if someone "ragequit" but I believe it would be a good idea) because they do not understand what the objective is, or what the mechanics are even though I think this is pretty well explained but yeah.

I have very high expectations/hope for this game because it really have potential.

See ya' on the Broken Planet !

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Good luck with your game.

They actually listen to the players but the game is supposed to be hard. If you do not enjoy playing it, well maybe that's because that wasn't your thing and there's nothing wrong with not playing it anymore. But the game will not change because you want it to change.

Also, the objective is easier when there's an antagonist (enemies and bosses take more damage) and mentor matches are meant to help new players to learn the basics. It can be hard and frustrating but hey, explaining something to someone new IS hard and frustrating.

I don't have any problem of being a mentor, they're mostly the most enjoyable games tbh

A lot of high level players I've met (by that I mean 30-50) are not really good, let's be honest, they just kill things, not pay attention to their allies, etc. But I do not and I will never rage quit because of that or anything else. I had so games that were pretty frustrating like a host with OVER NINE THOUSAND ping, that was just impossible to play, but I kept doin' what I could. If there's a new player, I'll glady help him or her, because that is our duty as veterans.

Spacelords Universe / Re: Come on Guys....

The problem is that a lot of players (in all type of games) are crybabies that complains all the time about little things and making it huge. They want all their games to be the perfect game for them, which doesn't exist.

Now that Spacelords became more accessible, the community is growing so inevitably, there's gonna be more "crybabies". Of course the game have some issues, but let me tell you that this game have waaaay more potential than any other online games that came out in the past two years. (of course it's my opinion, you don't have to agree with it)

On that, I wish you to have fun on Spacelords, cheers !

Well, maybe this game is just not made for you then. I really like when there's an antagonist in the game, it makes things more interesting. Also, the objective gets easier (enemies and boss take more damage), so I truly believe it's pretty balanced.

Also, we should not forget that we were noobs in the past and the veterans of this time had to deal with us too. So I will encourage all of you to keep helping new players so they can also have fun with the game

Bug report & Technical Support / Re: Map glitch abuse

(just another reason I love when Raiders are forced to push against a timed objective, like In Medias Res ;) can't just waste time to win)

I agree with you, even tough I am mostly a Raider player, I like a bit of difficulty when the Antagonist is good and we are running out of time, playing Anta can be very frustrating in some situations so I'm clearly not against a more "fair and square" type of game, if you know what I mean

I believe he was an Antagonist and he couldn't kill the last Raider because of that glitch. Last time, my friend and some random guy played on the same map and they happened to be stuck down there without having the possibility to come back. And if I'm not mistaking, that Raider was cheating by using the same glitch (or kinda) to escape the Antagonist
