Suggestions / Re: Plot and Character Design

Can you explain more what you are asking for. Give examples of other games so we have a better idea. Because the female cast of this game are pretty diverse. Just because there is a few you don't like isn't grounds for their removal or change.
I'm asking for beauty grounded in truth.
The best examples I can think of are the Mass Effect Trilogy, Halo, Ninja Gaiden, The Last of Us, Dragon's Dogma, Witcher 3.

You must be fun at parties.

And you chose the most bland western character designed games (though I do dig Aria from ME) and a JPN game with weird faces. I am absolutely appalled...

Who doesn't love Alicia's abs? Her design is one of the most uniques that I saw in a very long time, badass, sexy, strong, angry, everything... I started in this game just for her XD

*High five

Same here.  ;D

Eh, seems unnecessary to me. I always liked that you had to be super aware in this game and always moving the camera to watch your flank/blindspot. (them ninja elites bruh...)

Atleast it'll be helpful for newer players...

Suggestions / Re: Can we get more card slots
 on: November 28, 2018, 12:38:30 AM
May i suggest something? Now this maybe not be a drastic enough change people are looking for but here it goes.

When locking a card, it should be removed and placed in a separate holding area, so you can always shuffle 4 cards. Max cards you can lock is 4.

Both character cards and faction cards should have their own holding area with 4 slots.

I'd be happy with just 1 additional card slot honestly, but your idea would work too  ;D

I ll go to vote surrender but still play. Im not trying to promote the rage quit culture.

But yea man, I play as an Antag and i know that shit is cheap lol.
I always vote surrender on any antag match but ofc I'm forced to play through this 1 shot pvp mess with no real choice.

This is the kind of stuff that drives me crazy. I already have to tolerate the blueprint system as it is, putting together win streaks and then HOPING to get the right blueprint to present itself and then HOPING the % gods allow me the opportunity to receive and build it. Now we have weak-willed players that refuse to participate/call for surrender at the first sign of an Antagonist. Let's be honest, the Antag may cause you to get a 7.5 on a mission rather than a 9, and fighting them may net you 1k gold instead of 1.5k good (Major difference..) It is only occasional occurrence though, by surrendering your messing up my opportunity to receive a blueprint I have worked torward just because ONE other human player is standing in your way and you don't like it. I understand if your team is on their third set of lives and the map/antagonist is dominating your team and your only on the first section, but surrendering instantly especially with new/low level players in the mix can hurt other players in the squad who give every mission all they have and lose that chance and have to go back to the drawing board because you don't want to try.

Yep, totally there with you. I only really surrender when there are multiple disconnects. But yikes, we really have folks that are level 300+ wanting to surrender/quit at the beginning, come on ya'll...  :-\

Antags on (rare) blueprint levels is probably the biggest thing I dread in this game. The chance of "questionable teammates" and then the RNG afterwards is too much lol. But luckily I haven't had folks quit in those to the best of my memory.

I can only count on 2 hands how much times I faced Valeria/Whip antag, but I personally never had trouble with her. Although to note, I don't play every level in the game and queue the same 6 levels most times (with the exception for blueprints or helping people out).

On certain levels I can imagine it being a b****, yeah...

Sorry TC, you may not like it, but the female cast in this game is what peak performance looks like. It's honestly refreshing to see female characters in a video game that aren't freakin stick figures, so no thanks...

And while the game does have quite the lore too it, story wise I don't think they're trying to make anything that's deep. Just a crazy/crude/fun journey.

But I agree with you on the good/righteous angle somewhat, since only Harec & Konstantin are the only characters with those traits...but since every character is so badass and likeable, I ain't too torn up about that. This is probably the only game I actually like all the characters (that goes for non playable characters too). Glad you're on the Riaders train, but don't be a party pooper mate, and enjoy the ride. Beers on Lycus.

After grinding in the game for quite a bit, started to get going on the weapons. 2 quick questions:

1) Best build for Iune's Vortex & Mikah's Barrier?

2)Any reason to put points in caliber when there's crit chance/crit damage or hero killer/exterminate also available on a weapon. Seems like a waste, but I could be wrong.

Nice & positive topic and I agree with all of it. The game is awesome isn't it?
Only wished the skins in this game would cost less. I would love to fork my money to MSE, but alot of it is overpriced. Funny thing is, the skins would probably sell much more if it was lowered...But whatever, it's just cosmetics. The game is my new addiction and I can't wait to see what the future holds!

Suggestions / Re: Option for no antagonist
 on: November 23, 2018, 02:27:21 PM
Personally, I LOVE a good challenge from an antagonist. Now, before anyone gets carried away, I used to be challenged from the antagonists that populated the game when it was Raiders of the Broken Planet. The 'Spacelords' antags have been unbelievably mediocre. So Flowone, I hope to see you on the battlefield. I have all the blueprints and cards, I don't care about the "rewards", I like making antagonists quit the game, thats what keeps me coming back.

You do you ofc, but giving them a fight is exactly what they want, best scenario is imo if you manage to get the team to surrender as soon as possible, make them waste all that time they spent in queue, with basically no gameplay to show for it.

SMH...

Spacelords’ Advice / Re: Antag; self imposed challenges, anyone?
 on: November 23, 2018, 02:09:37 PM
Only thing that grind my gears about antag is them ruining my rare BP matches when I'm teamed with newbies or level 20+ who still don't know what they're doing. Aside from that, I don't mind the feature at all and I'm kinda neutral on it. It does keep you on your toes and forces you to play/approach the game differently, so I appreciate the challenge atleast.

But I know we all agree that antags shouldn't be in mentor matches. I mean it's been said to DEATH on here. If MSE require folks to be level 10 to antag, same should apply for being invaded. Don't know what they were thinking...

As for antags being optional, I wouldn't care either way (it would SUCK for folks that want to antag though, less chance for a match for them...). But since MSE insist on antag being a core of the game, folks opting out should just be penalized a percentage of their rewards.
I know the feature is made a huge deal here ( granted it's the same 3-4 people  :P ), but I just don't see that much people being outright against the feature. It be interesting to see a survey regarding it...make it happen MSE!
