Title: Survives isn’t a good score category
Post by: Whatever on May 31, 2019, 07:19:40 AM
It doesn’t really make sense. If you don’t enter the survive stage you get a zero score for it when it should be 100% and go down with every survival stage.

Assists is a better measure of skill than survives.

In another post it was said that survives is a reward for those who manage to stay alive during the survive phase. That’s great and good players should be rewarded.

In that very same vein, players and teams who never enter the survive phase - probably because they’re good - should be rewarded.

The current system doesn’t reward players when they play a game so well they don’t use up all 16, or more, lives.

yeah especially since we only now have two survival phases to work with, we should have that score replaced with something more meaningful like the amount of damage dealt or  amount of time spent without dying.

They should add more qualifications for scores in general. Damage done to boss, heals, assists, deaths as a - , aleph used for missions, etc... a lot of time you get a guy who killed the most, but really he killed that much because you were assisting him with Iune, keeping him alive, the ONLY one putting Aleph in the generator, extractor, etc... single handedly killed the boss where as he did nothing to the boss. So it's weird how they value dead AI over all else. It makes you not want to play support or boss killers or run aleph, because your score is punished if you aren't doing anything else other than killing enemies.
