Not gonna bother wasting my time to explain  anything to you. Seeing as you seem hard pressed that antagonists are limited in options lol

Yup, sorry but antagonists need some form of punishment. they already have too many benefits, infinite lives,  enemy AI,  and now with a upcoming update that allows them to give orders to enemies. people who say there shouldnt is obviously those who love the overwhelming options an antagonist has. which i see as too many lol.

Yeah,  my team  consisted  of a rank 6 ginebra and a rank 6 shae. too me Valeria is freaking slow,  i played as her in solo and still couldn't get over her tank like movement. even i have much more appreciation for Konstatine or rak's movement.  I'm use to fast and agile raiders like aneska, alicia, sooma, harec, and then characters like rak. another thing that bugs me is antagonist Alicia, the smoking Daisy is pure hell and i absolute can't even counter it effectively.

You'd lost that match thanks to the terrible matchmaking. Doldren is a nightmare against beginners and teams who like to wander off solo. Sure he's going to go into ethereal form. Sure he's going to appear out of thin air, CQC or shoot you. That's his playstyle.
How to beat Doldren? The minute hi outline appears you head for it. You work as a team and attack his body.
I, at first thought he was OP then I learned how to fight him. Even with Valeria, every time he attacked I stopped his grapple and others grappled him as he'd just appeared and got into close range.

The prizes galore was all about getting more people playing Antagonist. It worked, just nobody really wanted it in the first place. More antags - more people leaving. Didn't work out very well for MSE.

Yeah i usually go for his outline. thing was, it's like he was waiting for this, he ambushed me a couple of times by going after his body. i got him once, but after that he just kept getting me and my team did nothing to stop him. so i left, sucks because most likely he was laughing his ass off at how easy it was to get me and the others.

Spacelords Universe / Doldren is too OP

Okay so i got back from getting something to eat.  decided that i wanted to get valeria's rare, so i start the mission hanging by a thread. cool,  i get paired with two rank 6 players and a huey,  then it hapens. a rank 4 antagonist joins, should be no problem right? I'm tier 1 purple 5. it's a doldren but here's thing, he's rank 4 and yet owning me and the other two players. keep in mind my strike percentage is at 82% so i should be owning him not him owning me. his astral ability is too cheap imo,  he can literally sneak up on you while distracted and get free kills. I am able to react when he tries, even then his hits take two thirds of my life before being downed.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Sooma's gun (The Last Vial)
 on: July 22, 2019, 03:30:36 AM
It's an okay weapon. i haven't really maxed it out and cant say for that it took a while to kill anything. i prefer the catharsis. it may not be everyone's favorite, but i love it still. i get it's q bit complicated with the whole damage bar fill up and pain bar optimization.  But i have gotten use to it, with war dogs it melts through them like butter. hades division soldiers tank it a bit,  and Council members are in between atleast imo.

Catharsis is an amazing gun once you get use to it. However, it doesn't fit my play style that much. I enjoy redeemer the most. It helps in cqc, great damage, and I can shut off certain paths. However I enjoy The last vial due to its radius damage I just wish it was a little stronger

yup,  who knows it might get a buff like the hatchet.  Been using that  one and boy does it eat through some grunts. btw i have tried the redeemer and so far I'm going to stick with the catharsis. the reedemer took forever to kill anything and i found the damage sphere placement weird. sometimes it would place one down, and then another would not. it took 4 shots before i could put down a hades division grunt. to me that's very bad,  especially when you are surrounded by enemies. you need a weapon to pick off the pack before melee the rest. catharsis while is a bit complicated, i can demolish groups of enemies with it.  redeemer isn't just for me i guess.

Suggestions / Re: You need to do something about Host Migration
 on: July 21, 2019, 09:07:03 AM
Well it's happened again, now on two separate missions for me. first one being hanging on by a thread and  a low blow. now the first one it didn't seem to occur until half way into the mission. as we began to fight off war dogs pouring in,  the game stops and suddenly says "host migration in progress" then does it again and again and again until everyone except me was left. Everyone ended up leaving the match, that's how annoying and frustrating it became. then for the second one, a low blow. i only took maybe one or two steps and then it happened again. only after migrating two times it then crashes and says as usual "an error occured" blue ps4 screen. This is bad, real bad and it's gotta be looked into,  it's very annoying when this happens.

Happened to me too,  was on the destroyer of worlds mission. and it kept migrating between the team. we were down to 3 lives and it kept doing this. i said forget it and asked the others to just surrender. They didn't want to so i left,  it sucks too because before we had aneska down to nothing and then it restarted.

Bug report & Technical Support / Unable to connect to the game
 on: July 21, 2019, 12:41:25 AM
So i just completed a mission. afterwards i left to go tale care of some personal stuff. when i came back it said the the following.  "looks like the PlayStation server is not responding, check the status of the PlayStation services" okay so i go do that,  everything seems to be running fine from what im seeing.  then i try again  it works albeit slow than usual.  after that i try to join a match,  ends up saying "the connection to the Mercury steam servers was lost" so I'm a bit stumped as to what's going. i have screen shots,  just don't know how to attach them to this post.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Sooma first impressions
 on: July 18, 2019, 05:43:17 PM
Been playing with her for two days. make this day 3 of launch,  so far i like her playstyle. I like the pain/damage mechanics. it. Makes her different and stand out from the rest of the other raiders. It took to some getting use to her,  but i took her in a few solo missions to get a flow and rhythm of her weapons and special abilities. First base weapon; the last vial is interesting, you have to shoot walls and floors in order to get damage out of it. it's not my particular favorite but it's not terrible. think of it as a cross between the Invicta and rak's Shepard. shooting the floor or walls like the Invicta, and a spread shot like the Shepard. second weapon is her rare; the carthasis.  you basically have two alternate firing modes,  one fills up actually damage bar.  when it does,  you can mow down up to two or 3 enemies at a time. keep in mind, that doesn't even include the pain bar which really eats them. you have to alternate back in forth between both modes, keeping the damage bar full is a priority and her pain bar.  Overall my favorite weapon of hers and I'd recommend to get, but that's a personal imo.  haven't tried the redeemer yet but I'm interested in it once i rebuild my gold back up.  overall i like her and i think she'll be one of my two mains,  the next being aneska.

I understand how you feel. it sucks because i encounter it every day. Yesterday i was playing tor a blueprint for one of my characters. unfortunately an antagonist was in my match and basically owned all of us. i lost would could of been alot of gold and cool weapon blueprint to nothing or half of what i would of gotten. it sucks because i worked hard too, sorry you had to go through that. it does suck when an antagonist comes along and ruins it.

Exactly. And yea, i appreciate what the antagonist does in MOST games. Creating additional tension and difficulty. But sometimes, I just want to *relax* and play raiders. Not always be on guard when I start a game cause someone wamts to Antag. It is its own thing and I appreciate that. But it ruins the experience for someone like me. Who doesn't choose Space Lords as their #1 source of PvP action.

Yup i like the antagonist system and options are always good. but i find myself too,  hiding behind cover for minutes because of a sneaky antagonist. a bit frustrating when i just want to have fun and get my gold lol.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Doldren is still too powerful
 on: July 16, 2019, 03:29:48 AM
I owned two doldren players nonstop. he did get me a few times, but i started focusing on him. watching out for where he hides behind, looking for his vulnerable body while he goes astral. and waiting around corners then another where i took advantage of him going after other players on my team.  i quickly run towards him then grappled him.  or as before, shot my gun towards him to drop him to zero then finish him.  there is strong doldrens, but for me it's about staying on the move and looking all around you. as well look for his vulnerable body, he's most likely in astral form looking to attack. i always look for this and quickly grapple. it's also about being just as patient as him, wait for him to strike in the wrong place and wrong time then punish  it lol.

Spacelords Universe / Re: Where are the experienced players?
 on: July 15, 2019, 03:27:33 AM
Good going MSE...a few months down the line, it's only just gonna be me and Angeles playing this game lol if you don't get your s*** together.
Don't count me out just yet. I still have 7 achivements to get on Steam so I'm not leaving anytime soon.

I never get to play as a Local as much as I want to cause I usually see the lower level players all choosing them instantly leaving me to carry the team in some way which is fine but I miss playing as them.
You should stop carrying newbies and play whoever you want, since you don't care about rewards, the losses should not impact you.

The new Aleph system is awful. Why can't they just GIVE YOU the aleph on an enemy kill? Is that really too hard to ask? If there's anything that makes me instantly quit a game, it's team mates who hang around you and steal Aleph from your kills. When it does drop you're wondering where the hell it is and end up running around for a second or so to actually locate it.
Right? Some people wait around you and steal the Aleph while you're unable to move due to the finish animation, and sometimes the Aleph drops behind you. What the hell?

I really don't mind playing with new players. as long as they know what they are doing and don't get in the way I'm cool with leading a group of tier 6 players. however i will express my dissapointment in the aleph drop system. i do like you can drop one or 2 for team mates but it's also gotten me killed or down alot. enemies shoot these things causing an explosion that damages me. Leaving me open for  enemy fire/elites to inta kill me/antagonists. it's a poorly executed idea and needs some revision mercury devs.
It would be wonderful if all of them knew the routine of the mission, but sometimes they get grouped in stages they haven't unlocked yet, or lack the decision making that comes with experience, for example, when to engage in melee combat, shoot from a distance, or just run for cover. There's also the difficulty, I don't mind playing with newbies outside the daily rewards, since the MMR will not impact in 1750 rewards, but when the accumulated gold is between 7k or 15k, you want to get your score as high as you can.
Also, don't drop Aleph in the enemies' line of fire. lol You're asking to be blown.

Yeah you misunderstood what i said.  i don't drop aleph in the line of enemy fire. what happens is, another player is killed right next to me and before i can dodge in time before the explosion. it's too late,  keep in mind that I'm already distracted by group of wardogs heading towards me,  and a elite shooting at me.  Then all of the sudden "boom!" I'm down to zero and i hear "all the prey are down! roll them war dogs!" lol it's insanity but oh well.
