Not gonna bother wasting my time to explain anything to you. Seeing as you seem hard pressed that antagonists are limited in options lol

You'd lost that match thanks to the terrible matchmaking. Doldren is a nightmare against beginners and teams who like to wander off solo. Sure he's going to go into ethereal form. Sure he's going to appear out of thin air, CQC or shoot you. That's his playstyle.
How to beat Doldren? The minute hi outline appears you head for it. You work as a team and attack his body.
I, at first thought he was OP then I learned how to fight him. Even with Valeria, every time he attacked I stopped his grapple and others grappled him as he'd just appeared and got into close range.
The prizes galore was all about getting more people playing Antagonist. It worked, just nobody really wanted it in the first place. More antags - more people leaving. Didn't work out very well for MSE.
It's an okay weapon. i haven't really maxed it out and cant say for that it took a while to kill anything. i prefer the catharsis. it may not be everyone's favorite, but i love it still. i get it's q bit complicated with the whole damage bar fill up and pain bar optimization. But i have gotten use to it, with war dogs it melts through them like butter. hades division soldiers tank it a bit, and Council members are in between atleast imo.
Catharsis is an amazing gun once you get use to it. However, it doesn't fit my play style that much. I enjoy redeemer the most. It helps in cqc, great damage, and I can shut off certain paths. However I enjoy The last vial due to its radius damage I just wish it was a little stronger
I understand how you feel. it sucks because i encounter it every day. Yesterday i was playing tor a blueprint for one of my characters. unfortunately an antagonist was in my match and basically owned all of us. i lost would could of been alot of gold and cool weapon blueprint to nothing or half of what i would of gotten. it sucks because i worked hard too, sorry you had to go through that. it does suck when an antagonist comes along and ruins it.
Exactly. And yea, i appreciate what the antagonist does in MOST games. Creating additional tension and difficulty. But sometimes, I just want to *relax* and play raiders. Not always be on guard when I start a game cause someone wamts to Antag. It is its own thing and I appreciate that. But it ruins the experience for someone like me. Who doesn't choose Space Lords as their #1 source of PvP action.
Good going MSE...a few months down the line, it's only just gonna be me and Angeles playing this game lol if you don't get your s*** together.Don't count me out just yet. I still have 7 achivements to get on Steam so I'm not leaving anytime soon.I never get to play as a Local as much as I want to cause I usually see the lower level players all choosing them instantly leaving me to carry the team in some way which is fine but I miss playing as them. You should stop carrying newbies and play whoever you want, since you don't care about rewards, the losses should not impact you.The new Aleph system is awful. Why can't they just GIVE YOU the aleph on an enemy kill? Is that really too hard to ask? If there's anything that makes me instantly quit a game, it's team mates who hang around you and steal Aleph from your kills. When it does drop you're wondering where the hell it is and end up running around for a second or so to actually locate it.Right? Some people wait around you and steal the Aleph while you're unable to move due to the finish animation, and sometimes the Aleph drops behind you. What the hell?I really don't mind playing with new players. as long as they know what they are doing and don't get in the way I'm cool with leading a group of tier 6 players. however i will express my dissapointment in the aleph drop system. i do like you can drop one or 2 for team mates but it's also gotten me killed or down alot. enemies shoot these things causing an explosion that damages me. Leaving me open for enemy fire/elites to inta kill me/antagonists. it's a poorly executed idea and needs some revision mercury devs.It would be wonderful if all of them knew the routine of the mission, but sometimes they get grouped in stages they haven't unlocked yet, or lack the decision making that comes with experience, for example, when to engage in melee combat, shoot from a distance, or just run for cover. There's also the difficulty, I don't mind playing with newbies outside the daily rewards, since the MMR will not impact in 1750 rewards, but when the accumulated gold is between 7k or 15k, you want to get your score as high as you can.
Also, don't drop Aleph in the enemies' line of fire. lol You're asking to be blown.
