Gameplay Feedback / Re: schneider is OP
 on: September 19, 2018, 03:39:28 PM
Hi all!

We have read all topics about weapon balancing. In the next patch some weapons will be rebalanced.

Thanks to all to your feedback!
Please don't nerf weapons for pve just buff the weaker ones to be equally as strong. As much as i would like to see Schneider nerfed I rather not risk him becoming completely useless.

Gameplay Feedback / Everyone Relax

I deleted my previous Thread because it was becoming too toxic and it was a mistake. We all have our reasons to hate/love the antagonist system so lets just try to respect each other's opinions.

The system is perfect salty people just need to git gud.

Or they could invest in their own interest instead and see if they can convince the developers to change the system to separate PvPers and PbEers. They could ignore toxic people like you, who are bad for game communities, and show devs they don't enjoy it. This is WAY smarter than some neanderthal solution of "git gud".

People like you are hilarious, you rely an a fucking MEME as a solution while everyone else is coming up with ideas, possible solutions, new information, feedback, etc...and here comes the fucking troll with "git gud". We got Mensa material here people.
I know i was being sarcastic I'm honestly just fed up with the whole thing.

I know this might seem like a salty thread but I'm genuinely concerned and would like to see more examples/feedback from the community.

Gameplay Feedback / PvP time to kill is too quick

Since you guys probably want to keep this whole antagonist bs I'd like to see some adjustments to the damage players deal to each other. It's pretty bad to be honest many characters are just broken and can down you with 1 shot from full HP and this is without any cards in mind. Just from the top of my head ginebra if she pushes you with her shot into an object its gg, schinider with his laser turret explosion, valeria with her quantum explosions, ayana with her mines/tension cord and many others. I personally wouldn't want to see any of these weapons/characters nerfed in pve but something needs to be done if you want to get rid of some of the pvp cheese going on. Honestly things get pretty ridiculous once you add cards into the mix.

I will try to stay positive and hope for the best since I would like to see this game succeed. Even if it has caused my salt levels to go higher than I've ever seen.

I might be hyped for the new weapon if it was actually obtainable.

They could add special elite units that drop temporary long range weapons you could pick up and use until they run out of bullets similar to the turrets in the mouse and snake. This would easily solve the issue.

It goes the other way around too you know , lv 1 raiders vs lv 100 antagonist , and thats a lot more unfair that what your having.

This comment consfuses me. You're saying it's unfair for 1 experienced player to go up against four lower levels but it's not for four experienced players to go up against one low level? I agree that it sucks to go up against someone far above your level, no matter whether you're a Raider or an Antagonist. But this Antagonist bias is a little bit much.
It depends on the team but most random squads won't be well coordinated. In that case the antagonist has way more advantage specially in high mmr matches where the Ai can be ridiculous. Antagonist also has unlimited revives and troops to help them out. Either way the entire system is a mess for both sides.

They should have at least 1 common blueprint guaranteed on every reset. We need way too many of them, every character has at least 2-3 common weapons. And that's not even getting into the forge level issue but i won't go into that.

There's already plenty of threads about this issue, I myself have made at least 2. All we can do at this point is just wait and see what they'll do.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: Surrender for antagonist

Do you honestly feel good about this? You're just bothering these people, wasting their time/gold and possibly blueprint for what just to try to show off? Idk maybe I'm just weird but i don't see the appeal in pvp where you just need to be as cheap as possible to win.

lol.... let me break it down for you:
Do I feel good that I can overcome the odds and pull a win from what feels like a hopeless fight? YES!

I already stated that I play for the fun of it and to push myself. I am disappointed in the rewards either way, might as well have fun while doing it.

I already know and am friends with about half of the players in those videos. And half of the ones I'm not, I have messaged to tell them it was a GG.

I am playing my role as intended. I am sorry that it impacts how we get rewards, but that is not my fault. You sound like someone that would get angry for being the first survivor to be sacrificed in Dead by Daylight, or a killer angry at a survivor for surviving, or someone who would kick me out of their lobby for using Grabs as Astaroth when playing Soul Caliber.

The players I have fought and messaged are hardly ever salty. They exist, but overall not prevalent. The final video I posted, which was a stupidly long fight, was even on a Blueprint mission. I could only message 2 of them because 1 was on PC and 1 couldn't be found due to his name, but of the 2 that I did, they were really cool even though they lost a BP and paid 40k for lives.

I didn't post them here because not relevant to getting steamrolled, but during the Shy BP hunt I antagged a *lot* and encountered certain players a ton of times. I finally got it by just stomping a team so hard they surrendered. Messaged 2 of them after because I knew they had faced me so many times, and they both added me as friends.
Good players recognize good players.

I'm motivated like Goku or Akuma, to fight other strong players.
Thank you for explaining.

"When a game is lost you can know it."
Nope. I'm sorry but I respectfully disagree. There are plenty of games I KNEW I was going to lose.... until I didn't. I play antag to push myself and for the fun of it, and if I'm getting railed, it just pushes me to change, adapt, and overcome.

I did not mean to pick this weapon. Warm is awful in pvp:

By all measurements, I should have lost this. The mid point of this video I finish killing them all on Survive.... but the finisher animation takes too long and they get their lives back, and Uras is pretty much on his final health bar.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH5wsbNUOtY

I had 10 MMR higher than this team:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr9kJJr5roQ
(I actually play a BUNCH of matches with my MMR being way higher and thus giving me a huge handicap. I don't record them all because it happens so much, but my biggest difference so far was 18 friggin %. It was on Mind Over Matter and I won in the final phase when Ginebra sprinted into a minefield)

Another hard Enemy Within win vs. a good team. I consider this mission the hardest for antag to beat against any semi-competent team. And this one included Schneider:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSMo5b8pebo

And finally, my hardest antag match ever played.... I have a limit to my recording so only can capture 15 minutes, but I had to have at least been fighting for 30+ minutes by the time this video starts. I was getting steamrolled every time I spawned. Konstantin is on PC with an insane aim. This was the first time I have ever had lives bought on me, and within 5 minutes of them buying lives, I finally won.

Suggestions / Re: Antagonist system
 on: September 14, 2018, 03:23:41 PM
The problem is the rewards, you earn less in an antag match  …

Exactly, it's just dragging things out and it does not bring the slightest benefit to the end result.
And that raises the question, why should somebody play against an antag? Unfortunately somebody have to, because it's not optional. Make it optional or change something in the reward system.
The only issue with just adding better rewards is that it will cause a lot of players to become antagonists, which will only increase the forced pvp on more people that don't really enjoy it. This also doesn't fix one of the biggest problems with the whole antagonist system matchmaking. With the way it currently is you could end up with extremely high lv gaps in the team. Like a lv 12 antagonist could end up againts a team of lv 100s or a team of lv 30s against a lv 200 antag. It's completely broken and unbalanced so imo the best thing they could do is make it optional and focus on increasing the player base by fixing/adding better pve content.
