We just need a pop up notification that says antagonist match , like how it does for mentor matches. You ether accept or cancel. Problem solve.

This would be better than what we have now (which is nothing), but ppl cancelling queues is already a pretty big annoyance, having a pve/pvp toggle somewhere would be more user friendly imo.

The spacelords identity section of the roadmap sounds awesome, I hope they allow for removal of accessories as well as adding, only reason I didn’t buy “space mechanic” was because of the cap and goggles… being able to remove those would be great. Emotes, finishers, fighting styles, it all sounds good, hope they also plan on adding auras.

The rest sound meh (space guilds), leaning on bad (the great clash, aurora specters), it seems the obsession with pvp is going deeper, MS wants everyone on the pvp bandwagon one way or another, I just hope they only give out more xp or gold as rewards for theses activities, and don’t lock up cosmetics and weapons behind this pvp/competitive stuff.

Exactly. Please do not nerf my baby to the ground. Don't give him the Overwatch Mercy treatment because you see the mess that made. People are leaving that game in droves.

Buff weaker weapons pls ^^

Don’t worry Ginebra seems to be the "Mercy" of raiders…

Running during survival would only be relevant in pvp… still like i said it doesn’t make any sense, it breaks the lore, she is a stealth/assassin cyborg, considering how much MS invests in lore and storytelling in their games it’s strange they would ignore that.

Also she is anything but a go-to for nerfs

I guess I was speaking from personal experience, I was not able to enjoy her for long in her original form, and after her initial nerf, its kept on going with the nerfs, money wasted... she is the only character I’ve bought with MS points because I didn’t want to wait and now she apparently gets less hp when she transforms into a form that further covers her in armor… and she is a non-stealth cougar…

Also in pvp, I can definitely see an enemy Gin's aleph as cougar, so the patch notes were a little unclear.

I guess it’s even worse than I thought then.

I think it's perfectly fair. I main Ginebra and I think she's balanced after the nerfs that were needed. Use her second form for escaping, it's very useful still. I run away from Antags all the time with her, but when you have a maxed forged Javelin it's dangerous to let you run away.

I’m not saying she isn’t usable or bad, but compared to what she should be, she is now underwhelming and weird, it goes against her character and it makes her less fun to play because of that (at least for me), all in the name of pvp “balance”.

Reducing her cougar form HP was silly enough, but having her cougar aleph signature visible to npc’s not only goes against her gameplay style, it’s downright lore breaking, so imo she is not in a good spot, how can cougar =/= stealth…

No point investing time on Ginebra, she seems to be the go to raider for nerfs, it’s sad, she used to be my favorite, I haven’t used her in a long time but when I saw her most recent patch notes, what you describe sounds about right, her cougar form must be almost useless nowadays, not sure exactly what MS wants that character to be…

There’s less indeed and I’ve finally been having more consistent fun with raiders again because of it, but there’s still the annoying tolchok Konstantin and the same old bullshit with the game giving out antags with 20%+ less mmr which is just a free win for them, at least I stopped trying on pvp matches long ago and prefer a quick loss… however  the consecutive win requirement and the fact blueprint rolls are based on match score make antags more annoying than ever and now its way more than just the one match that’s potentially being wasted by them.

Yea I’ve definitely had a good experience getting bp’s so far with the new system (enjoying pulse and shy a lot), however I know how it could be very bad and time wasting with a string of bad luck or interference from antags, so I can understand the complaints.

The new cutscenes and lore are great (the additional insight into the 5th council is welcomed), not to mention Valeria which I think has a great character design, plus is a lot of fun gameplay wise.

When it comes to the new missions I think some of them can drag on to much and others feel way to spammy with all the stuff going on, I’m not saying they are bad, just not as fun as previous missions imo.

Like I said, I don’t throw pve matches, pvp however that’s another story… as for competitiveness I see little of it in this game, and I find that to be a good thing, there’s no leaderboards or anything (at least not anymore), I’ve heard antags complain about that fact and maybe it’s something they should add back in if they ever divide pve/pvp, I have nothing against pvp/antags enjoying the game and doing their thing, however MS is wrong in thinking it should happen at the expense of others by giving no options and even more naive is thinking such a system will not invite a lot of toxicity and resentment between players.

Not quite, I’ve never seen a pvp selection screen on this game and no amount of caps is gonna change that fact, I’ve entered no pvp willingly.

Videgames are not sports, as their name implies, they are games, no matter how much this new age “gamers” want to think of videogames as their life’s accomplishments.

Two ppl deciding they are going to engage in battle or competition that is “gentlemen” behavior, nothing of the sort is found here.

Wow, Drow.  Stop holding grudges past one game.  That's called "Toxicity."  It kills gaming communities. And it's probably not emotionally healthy.

Well in this case it’s largely the games fault, its current system encourages toxicity, if ppl were entering pvp willingly, then I would probably agree grudges and vengeful attitudes would be wrong, but as it stands now, I think it’s almost inevitable, even for normally good willed players

Seems like cause and effect lol, I refuse to throw on pve matches but I can’t say it hasn’t crossed my mind and be an ass whenever I’m paired with some antag that wasted my time on a previous match.

That’s only part of the issue, you know how pvpers work, the vast majority are just trolling or exploiting, if one mission is fixed they’ll just move on to the next mission that can be easily cheesed, there’s probably always going to be a mission that’s pretty much unplayable for a few weeks because all antags gang up on it, not allowing them to pick a mission, was actually a good way of preventing some of the griefing.

Edit: well apparently this system was used before and the protector and Loaht maps were already suffering for it... maybe next they should just let antags see raider cards and weapons.

Allowing antags to choose is a terrible idea, bunch of maps will be unplayable, have fun extracting that protector… well good luck to any of you pve players that are going to stick with this shit, you’re gonna need it…
