Suggestions / Re: antag desertion

Not gonna bother wasting my time to explain  anything to you. Seeing as you seem hard pressed that antagonists are limited in options lol
I've put him on ignore. I instantly skip past the crap he constantly states. Guaranteed, he'll reply to this. It's an obsession.

MSE, (Ojuel)

How about NOT putting BP's as a reward in the 4 dailies? There's a very high chance, thanks to your 99% probability of a duplicate, that people will be using new characters with no weapon upgrades, to try for the BP. Therefore the only time to maximise on gold & affiliation, by using bounty hunter and affiliation, is on the pot and 4 dailies.

Moreso, because of all the aforementioned, putting the lost BP in the pot, means most people won't be using a bounty/affiliation bonus on their weapon, therefore missing out on the chance to maximise their reward on the biggest payout of the day.
Remove BP's from the pot. If they don't win it, make it available to them next game and so on. People should be taking a BP, at least, once a day! Especially considering you've nerfed BP payout by 400%.

In the last 100 matches I've probably played in a team where someone has had them on their weapons about four times. And even then it's been a pitifully low percentage. People, however, who play with me, especially in the dailies, are getting a 36% Bounty % Affiliation bonus. And having sacrificed weapon power I'm still taking first place.

Gameplay Feedback / A Sooma sphere question to developers....
 on: July 24, 2019, 02:55:31 AM
Have any of you played a match where Sooma has left a million spheres all over the place and actually managed to see just what the hell is going on?

Last game I played with her in my team there were so many spheres I couldn't see the enemy. Believe it or not putting a lightly coloured, translucent, circle on top of another of the same, doubles the strength of the colour and makes it darker and more opaque. Add some darker coloured symbols and where they meet you'll pretty much block what's in front, heavily distorting the image.

Spacelords Universe / Re: Doldren is too OP
 on: July 23, 2019, 11:25:51 PM
One trick Doldren's do is hang around their body in ethereal form and the minute a raider goes for the grapple they materialize and grapple the raider. Another trick is to jump or slide when being chased by a raider and go into ethereal form then reappear and attack.

Doldren can't survive against more than one normally. If I'm playing against him I'll run with the camera pointing behind me. I also move onto a block as he can't move up to your level. Doldren is a tricky Antagonist to play against. In a noob team, game over.

You'd lost that match thanks to the terrible matchmaking. Doldren is a nightmare against beginners and teams who like to wander off solo. Sure he's going to go into ethereal form. Sure he's going to appear out of thin air, CQC or shoot you. That's his playstyle.
How to beat Doldren? The minute hi outline appears you head for it. You work as a team and attack his body.
I, at first thought he was OP then I learned how to fight him. Even with Valeria, every time he attacked I stopped his grapple and others grappled him as he'd just appeared and got into close range.

The prizes galore was all about getting more people playing Antagonist. It worked, just nobody really wanted it in the first place. More antags - more people leaving. Didn't work out very well for MSE.

Lol@Sadsloth

And it is precisely this reason that I end up quitting matches because I'm tired of carrying beginners, 150+levels below me in games that end, through sudden death, coirtesy of my teammates dieing because they're not equipped and skilled enough to defeat the enemy and antagonists.
I've been playing alot only to chase gold to get characters and weapons for PS4 trophies and platinum.

At least 85% of my matches are with a team of T2 R6 & unranked players. 100% are with T2 R5/6's, mostly two. And yes, I lost my pot yesterday as well because my team were all beginners.

Let's look at the writing on the wall; Spacelords is haemorrhaging players left, right and centre, 100% down to the July 2nd update. This has had a knock-on effect. Not only has it stopped players playing lots of matches but others have left. And in turn matchmaking has greatly suffered due to a drastic drop in player pool. MSE will not admit it, but constant match ups with T2 R6 & unranked players is the logical conclusion to very few people playing.

Added to that, because gold, xp and BP rewards been drastically reduced, leveling up has also been affected. New players take alot longer now to catch up to T1 players who will increase game difficulty.
MSE have done the classic 'ignore the player' situation and blundered on ahead, installing game obliterating updates.

This mission can easily be lost unless you follow specific mission objectives.

Stage One:

On the first stage of the mission, you must escort, the mind controlled, Schneider around while he unlocks terminals. He has a shield on him which the enemy will shoot. Once they remove the shield he'll snap out of his mind control and start trying to hack the terminals. If you allow him to, it's mission over. To stop him from doing this you have to attack him, drop his health down and then use an aleph to replenish his shield.
There are two icons at the top of the screen. You have to fill the left one up and not allow the right one to go up. The left fills up with successful Schneider programming of terminals. The right fills up when Schneider loses his shield and runs off to hack the terminals.
Not only do you have to protect Schneider by killing those shooting at him, but the enemy will send in engineers to hack the terminals he's used. Engineers show up as blue on the map. Shoot them or else a successful hack will mean losing one bar of the four bars you have to fill.
Upon completing this you move into the second and final stage.

Stage Two:

Schneider's mind hack stops and he will jump into a giant mech.
You then, obviously have to attack him.
***Late Edit***If you look around the level you will see big flowers on the walls. You need to load an aleph into the aleph root (as explained below) to make the flowers appear. Like the first stage, they can be destroyed making a large explosion (don't be near or they will most likely kill you, if not put you into wounded state). Lure Schneider towards them and shoot them when he's close. This will expose Schneider, removing the protective cover allowing you to do alot of damage.
Upon taking so much Schneider will jump onto a ledge and rain down explosions all over the place. This can be tough. Dodge them and try not to get wounded or you'll most likely get killed by an Elite sniper or Elite CQC specialist. He will eventually jump back down and start attacking. Rinse and repeat with the flower on the wall when he's close.
He will also shoot activate the crystal on the ceiling in the middle of the map which will send out laser beams that rotate anti clockwise. Don't get hit by them or you'll either be killed or go into wounded state.

Again, depending on how much damage he's taken he will either jump back down to attack or this time, jump onto another ledge and try to 'drop' the crystal he previously activated. You will see the timer countdown which if it gets to zero, he succeeds and it's mission over.
Now this is VERY important what to do next. If you don't you will lose the mission as he will drop the crystal. Around the map you will see protruding outcrops that you can interact with. You will see an interaction icon by them. They will also be outlined. You MUST load an aleph into one which will activate the flower just behind Schneider, to his right (your left). Shoot the flower, which will then send Schneider falling to the ground to be exposed yet again. If you DO NOT do this he will drop the crystal and game over.

For leaders in the game, there is a command that says something like "Someone to load aleph in the aleph root". However, there isn't a command for 'shoot the flower'.

*****MSE, you need to put in a command that states: "Someone to Shoot the flower" and when the flower appears, make a big red exclamation marker (like with Marmalade's eyes and tentacles) appear above it. I have played in missions where people haven't a clue what to do.*****

If you succesfully do this you will win the mission, providing you can survive the elite grunts, elite snipers, explosions, crystal lasers and Schneider

With the 2nd of July, dreadful update you nerfed Blueprint collection by about 400%. Your player base were rightly angry. To make matters worse we get 2 chances to win them in 2 days, angering the gaming community even more. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a VERY high chance the BP we win we already have. How on earth can you justify giving a player 3 duplicate BP's in a row with three new characters?

Remove RNG for BP collection and just fill up BP as you do with beginning of the month awards. This is the least you can do. Have you any idea how annoying it is to get duplicates constantly?

Gameplay Feedback / Re: PEOPLE WHO DONT PLAY OBJECTIVES
 on: July 23, 2019, 04:56:15 AM
When you're a high rank, playing with absolut idiots quitting becomes more common.
You talk about mission objectives not being carried out? Try playing 'The Beast's Lair' mission where not one boss objective is being carried out? Everyone can see me shooting at Marmalade's right eye. Are they helping? Nope. They see me shooting at his tentacles, he's plunged into the ground and are they helping, while the place is being turned into an inferno? Nope. And seeing as I'm doing most damage the enemy turn their attention on me. Where are they? They've all grouped together to kill one elite in the top right of the map. I've been sniped at by two elites, in cover, unable to attack. They're not watching what's going on.
And in the final stage, with my weapon I've wounded and killed umpteen elites by the pig. Where are they? You guessed it, top right corner, attacking an elite. All they had to do was PICK UP THE ALEPH.
The worst of it was they were two high ranking T2 R2 and a T1 R4 players. The mission lasted 25 minutes.
This is why I quit games. No desire to play with idiots like this.

MeleeMaster,

Lowering my MMR isn't a problem. In doing so I'll not make matches harder when matchmaking lumps me in a game with T2 R6 and unranked teams.
With the prizes galore, all awards are the same regardless of MMR rating.
I've nearly got all characters and soon my platinum after that. When that happens I'll be deleting Spacelords for good.

When a game is lost it's lost. Take today for example. Excluding dailies I played about 10. Of those I quit about 5. I was in another, usual, 2x T2 R6 and a T2 R5 on final 5th Council mission. No Alien faction teammates and BOOM in comes a T1 R1 antagonist. The game started and it was Alicia. NO WAY ON THIS EARTH was I going to be target practice for her and able to do diddly squat to combat her. It's a maze. Plenty of obstacles to keep her airborne while she reigns death down. I proposed a surrender. They chose play on and I instantly quit. It wouldn't matter if the match level was 100 or 10, as they'd lost the minute the Antag was revealed. I went off and read a book. I checked back about 6 minutes later and I was in a game penalty. Either Alicia had destroyed them or they'd seen sense and surrendered. Nothing I could have done to combat her.
Until MSE sort out their utterly attrocious matchmaking, I will continue quitting bad matchups. This is my only form of protest. I'm sick & tired of going into missions with players 150 levels below me.

P.S. The daily pot is irrelevent. There's no guarantee of winning it and losses are far more likely with the dreadful matchmaking and antagonist thrown in. On average I've probably got 7-10k in it. If I lose, with bounty weapon equipped, I'll probably get a third to a half back.

Gameplay Feedback / Re: PEOPLE WHO DONT PLAY OBJECTIVES
 on: July 23, 2019, 12:50:37 AM
When I'm in a team that's not following objectives I ask three times to forfeit the match. If they don't I leave. It's that simple. You shouldn't be forcing people to do what they don't want to do. It's their game. However, that stated, I very well understand your umbrage. Yes, nothing worse that being in a mission with idiots. Therefore, what MSE should do is simply put in a block feature that blocks you from playing with these people again. The more people want to just run around and not follow mission objectives, the more blocks they'll receive until eventually a wait, for a game will take so long they won't bother.

There's nothing worse than a game going down the authoritarian route. I don't like this idea of reporting players. I just leave the game instead. When you're in a team, that's not PLAYING as a team, quitting is a realistic option because the non team are screwing it up for themselves, long before I quit and leave them to their lunacy.

Sooma's damage spheres are blocking shots from Valeria trying to shoot her Einstein-Rosen Bridge. The ERB projectile will pass through but can't be detonated. I was using her first weapon 'Little Girl'.
