Would be great if the gestures in the game would be interruptible, or make the character immune at least (which woul be the worse decision).

If we do that, you would be able to avoid any kind of attack... so it won't be fair!

Yes, but you can't move at all during the animation. It would just be great if moving would cancel the animation.

I agree that'd make sense. Like if you used dodge to escape the emote. Dark Souls does the same thing and it works fine.
And god no not invuln during emote that's silly

Yeah, invincible during emote was a not well thought-through idea.
Just make it possible to cancel them with any movement. Otherwise people just won't use the gestures at all.

Exactly. And this makes them rather useless.
It would be a good idea to sell some special animations, but before you could do that, people actually should want to use them.
Now making gestures only has bad consequences.

I have a bind on my mouse on the 'v' key because I use it on another games.... I died a few times doing an emote in the face of the antagonist or some grunts.....
Some way to cancel that animation would be really nice.

Or instead of actively interrupting it, receiving damage could cancel the animation.
Nobody would stand around cheering or playing air guitar while being shot.
