hello.

i don't know if you did that on purpose, so i put that here.

the card kinetic drift sacrifice 40% of the shield, to punch 60% harder.
ok.

but it also sacrifice the shield when you grab...
and during a grab you "punch" twice, and so you sacrifice your shield twice for an attack who kill your opponent no matter what (except old man and shneider).

so if you did not that on purpose, maybe you should correct that, since grab is no punch, and moreover as no use with increased power attack (except for old man and shneider).

i fought an antag lycus yesterday while i was "counterantaging" with doldren, and the guy humiliates me all mission long XD

my too first attacks, he was lucky, first time, he had been saved by troopers around, and second he didn't saw me coming but decide to move when i arrived, so i strike the air, and then troupers noticed me, so he did too...

but then... since he had nothing to focus on except raiders, well he did that, and he was clearly waiting for me and was reacting fucking quickly in all circumstances.

killed him only once and it was not by surprise

first game of the day, boom, 350ping.
it was so fun.
i couldn't even use doldren's power cause the game didn't know where to put me on the map anymore when i was moving desincarnate.

i have mentionned it again and again...
and they should focus on that more than anything else.

but anyway, correct me if i'm wrong but except if you are doing it all the time, desertion penalties are of no consequence, so don't worry about them.

the game is balanced. well if you are not considering AI...
the only problem would be matchmaking.
and i figure matchmaking problems just comes from numbers of players.
so there is nothing to fix about, except removing th different pvp bonuses.

well i'm playing a pvp game, enjoying the pvp part. so i don't why i should leave.
in fact the pvp part is maybe the only one i like... when fights are not bugged or with insane ping at least...

and i'm not passing my day crying about antag who are mean and overpowered people whereas i'm in an asymletrical pvp games.
i'm crying (a lot) about games bugs, wich are intolerable in any games, pve or pvp.

just take a doldren to chase him too, or a hive with plague or spore, or a konstantin or anything capable of chasing/repulse him.

i have a video where a hans and i are destroying an antag doldren again and again.
wanna see if he is too powerfull ? =)

yup...
this game is unfortunatly more broken than the planets where it takes place...

and yet i still enjoy making antags spit their blood on it...

i must be a really bad person to endure such games bugs everywhere in game and fight, just to make people rage quit...

playing the same 17 exact missions you have already finished, again and again, while you have absolutly nothing more to gain or improve. and with mean antagonist who always kill you and make you cry about your lost time (if you don't want to lose time don't play video game by the may)
while there is true pve games, far more rich in content... =)
so excuse me if all this babling is not really convincing me. ;)

the rest is grinding to get differents character/weapon. (exactly like in WF... except you won't finish even all the campaign mission of warframe in two days.) ;)

well my opinion is, in pvp games, pvp, create a challenge who make us stay because we want to win.
that's why it's no use to make long games with tons of options in pvp games. because fighting each other IS the game itself. (that's why i'm pestering about all the fighting bugs who happens again and again in this game.
pvp games HAVE TO BE reliable to be really fun.
this one is not : 1/4 of times your character do random weird things in fights who make you fail.
and another 1/4 AI is openly cheating.
so there is nothing fun in that 2/4 of the fights.

anyway, if you think, no, this game could survive without pvp, good for you.
maybe you're right, maybe not, no-one cares and no one will never knows.

except for the random part, i do not share this opinion.
i still agree they should think about a non pvp mode.

but in all game you have to adapt your character, adapt to the antag or adapt to the mission makes no difference for me...

most of the time harec is no match for shae, and valeria to doldren, so i have no problem with that, though the old man's health should adapt to the antag lvl.
i encountered konstentins who could kill him in 5sec or so (really around 5sec). it's really not a lot of time to do something.

and for me this game is more fun when there is an antag.
moreover, pvp is always struggle, for both side.
the antag is struggling too, and against 4 humans, not only one.

damn, i'm gonna make video where antags are bashed to death during 15mn, maybe everyone will stop crying about that.
and yes you can blast away *1 antags too.

there is so much OP weapons, i don't see the point of nerfing this one more than any other, or you'll have to rethink mostly all weapons.

and as said before, in a good team, (thought to perform both mission and antag or at least worse antag situation), there is no real problem.
yes, you can always fight an impossible player who destroy you (that's the point of pvp). but IMO most of the time when it happens, that's because of a bad team and not so much because of the antag.

i remember a battle on beast' lair, against a valeria and shakura. none of us could pass through the first bridge. never.
fault is on us.
we had no one who could face that situation.
now i always take a character able to handle it if no one in the team did and that's all...

there is so much situation i can witness where even high grade players, don't even chose their character depending of the mission or the antag... or not knowing what there is to do on the mission...
i witnessed *1 players who didn't even knew they had to shoot the flowers in mission "double agent" (not sure of the name) and we lost because they did not shot it before shneider cut the antenna (it happens 3 fckg times, each time with *1 in the team, who all had weapons able to shoot the flowers what i had not).
now on that mission i always take a character able to handle both antag and flowers.
because i just learned, most of the time, you can't count on your mate in this game.
most are just able to kill grunts, cry about antags and ask for surrender when difficulty appears.

well it will be harsh, but all that to say, if no one in your team was able to handle her, it's mostly the fault of your team not of the weapons.
with time we'll learn what are the biggest danger on each map and think about ways to counter them, that's all.
for example, right now i still don't know how to fight against ayana.
but i'm keeping hope, one day i'll understand ! ^^

and remember it's a pvp game, it's not a "raiders will always win because we're nice people" game.

moreover everyone can buy valeria and obtain shakura pretty easyly.
if you think it's absolutly op, take her, and make those damn antags to spit their blood.

well, as far as i am concerned, i don't ask for them tu be punished.
so i take no confort of knowing that they'll be punished after breaking a game, i'd rather be able to get rid of them when it's needed =)

so still +1 for the kick feature.  ;D
