This has been brought up repeatedly throughout the beta and it's baffling that it was never fixed. Competing for rewards is awful. As is the fact that you can get literally nothing after spending 30+ minutes in a mission just because you attempted to get a blueprint. This is also mentioned in every other negative Steam review for the game, which is sitting at 'mixed' and dropping.

Everyone should get the full amount of faction points, character points, and gold. That way if you guys really want to stick to the stupid dice roll for the weapon blueprint it wouldn't be so horribly demoralizing if you don't get it.

I just made an account to say this is why my friends and I will not be playing again after completing one mission. I can't fathom what you guys were thinking with this system. All I can say is WTF.
