I don't see the terrible harm in private matches and play but yes it can and will split the community. As for the rest, it just sounds like the game wasn't a good fit for you and your friends. Not trying to be snide about it but it's definitely not for most people. You have to really want to be challenged and actually figure stuff out because there's tons of things even Drow above had to work out before he enjoyed the game a bit more.

We actually go back to this discussion a lot on retention but honestly when people are ready to quit quickly I am not eager to convince them to stay. That's just a poor attitude in general. Can the game be incredibly frustrating? Absolutely, because they're trying to make an experience that is continually challenging and we keep beating the crap out of everything they throw at us. However, I think you will find people have stuck it out and continued to enjoy the game be it as a Raider or an Antagonist.

It's possible you need an 'Advanced Blueprint' because that confused me a lot too. I didn't know there were multiple versions of blueprints I thought you just kept using the same ones. However, apparently there are qualities within each blueprint now and you need the next best quality to do upgrades.

This is of course good news but I used a bunch of Gold (49k x 4 ) to rent these missions so I could play them yesterday. Is that tracked and can it potentially be refunded to my account? I am fine if not but I only did so because I wanted to at least try them once and I shouldn't have had to do this since I am a Founder.

As far as I can tell it wasn't fixed. I restarted my Xbox and the game to see if that might work with no luck. Only people who bought Hades separately seem to be able to access it.

I have this problem too. I am on Xbox. This is the same exact issue Founders had during its initial release. Back then you couldn't play the game unless you bought Alien Myths by itself.

I do realize this will raise a bit of hell by even suggesting this but I feel it's a reasonable request compared to asking Mercury Steam to host every single player. This is a highly PVP-centric game at times and the fact the 'villian' depends on their enemy's connection is a bit of a problem in more ways than one. If this game insists on maintaining a PVP atmosphere at all then don't punish Antagonists for playing the role that was invented by the developers. I do hope someday everyone can be hosted on servers and we can do away with the P2P nonsense because it rarely works as well as it should. Thus I emplore you, at least for now consider hosting that single player out of five that maintains the game's ideal of 4 vs 1. Also, this can and should be used as a step toward hosting everyone on servers and not just Antagonist. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Yeah, a lot of mobility tricks seem to get lost as people turn into little more than moving turrets. Many characters, especially Alicia excel at mobility and it should absolutely be part of how you excel with her because it just looks damn cool when you pull off some sweet moves! All I do with Daisy is paint since her shots appear to have penetration and spread... so it's almost closer to what you'd expect from a flamethrower than a shotgun. Thus, the more clustered and layered enemies are the more your DPS will skyrocket. Just shooting at a single enemy or player actually wastes a great deal of its potential DPS.

Well there are synergies and absolutely what I would call light builds since it's not an RPG. It's actually kind of amazing it isn't flooded with needless rpg elements. Dear lord, too many games were overly complicated by RPGness that just had to be there because it wasn't done better and in a less grindy way in Metroidvanias. I do worry this 'progession' just means more grinding and more like an RPG. I don't really want that... I want the shooter and brawler elements to be improved on and expanded... I don't want another RPG-like.

Is it possible this values will change over time? To be honest, 20% seems sort of low to override your affinity from Raider but maybe on average that seems just right. My suggestion, since there does seem to be some confusion is maybe to do a short video that focuses just on Affinity after a Raider, and an Antagonist match so we can what that will be like. Not everyone will make it over to the forum after all. Thank you for getting back to us so quickly!

I can't say I really understand the affinity system. Out of everything it confuses me the most. At first glance, it seems like a good versus evil scale we slide one way or the other on depending on if we pick Raider or Antagonist. So, does this mean playing as one is detrimental to the other? Otherwise, do they not interact with each other directly and the game merely looks at what you have 'more' affinity at any given time? Can you clarify exactly how Affinity works since this is a completely new system? I didn't see it properly explained in the video.

After watching that like 3 times I think he blocked your dash with a punch. Then he just followed up with a grab. If you waited a tiny bit longer it looked to me like he would have been done for because you and your team got him really low but not low enough for a guaranteed grab.
