Hi Level9Drow,

Long time no see. I have seen you have replied in different threads, so I'll try to answer to all your concerns in a single one since you are addressing the same issues in all of them.

We have been clear since the very beginning about the nature of the game: 4 Raiders trying to complete a mission while, occasionally, an Antagonist prevents them from doing it.

We never said we wanted "misery and trolling" as you stated on another thread. Toxicity is not tolerated and when we say there's something we answered on Discord, we are always open and explain things again. There's not such thing as favoritism on Discord, it's simply quicker and immediate. We always read the forums and reply to your doubts as well.

As we have explained before, separating both modes would result in higher waiting times, impacting negatively on the experience.

We know there are a lot of players who love playing as Raiders and we listen to your concerns, but, as our data reveals, there are also plenty of people that enjoy Antagonizing. Saying it's a minority only present in Discord is not accurate.

We are actually planning on doing streamings in our Twitch channel and that includes playing as both Raiders and Antagonists. We are experiencing the same issues as you and learning from them. Truth is we keep improving the game every day and proof of that is the Spacelords Roadmap, which is based on our players' feedback and will change the game drastically. In fact, there will be a new progression system called Adventure mode that will add new rewards for both Raiders and Antagonists.

We really appreciate your enthusiasm and passion to improve the game, but we encourage you to keep playing accepting Spacelords is a different shooter because the Antagonist feature makes it unique.

That being said, rest assured we'll keep listening to the community here, but also on Steam, Discord and all our social media channels.

This might have been caused by a bad connection. As you know, we are always recording data to improve the experience, but if the issue persists, please contact us on spacelords_support@mercurysteam.com.

Regarding the waiting times, it shouldn't take that much to find a match. This depends mostly on your geographic location and the time of the day you play, so we would recommend to create or join a Guild to speed up the process. Dear Raiders and Antagonists,

It has been a while since we published our latest State of the Game Address, but there’s been a really good reason to this delay: We are working hard to bring you the next big event in the Spacelords Roadmap: Spacelords Identity. We cannot give you a definite release date right now, but we are confident it won’t be a long wait.

We are burning the midnight oil to fix the last few bugs before sending the update to the Console systems’ owners for approval -the final steps before release. Spacelords Identity is a huge update, full of new features, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Including all that content is taking us longer than expected which, as our beloved Lycus Dion says: “…that sounds very uncool”. So, aiming to give you new content more frequently, we have reworked the Spacelords Roadmap adding some serious items that will come right after the Spacelords Identity update. Have a look at it!



Having new milestones in the Roadmap doesn’t mean you will have to wait longer for latest instalments to arrive, only that you will enjoy new content before we get there! Of course, we will be continue to release new characters (Sööma will be just the first), weapons and cosmetic items along the way.

We are looking forward hearing what you think of this new Roadmap. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know in our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, in the Spacelords Official Forum or in the unofficial Discord channel.

Please, have in mind matchmaking times can vary depending on your geographic location and the time of the day you play, so the game will group together the players who are already available to shorten waiting times.

Regarding the other issues, I'll let the design team know your suggestions so they can evaluate them with regard to future updates.

MercurySteam reveals today the first images of Sööma, a brand-new playable character for Spacelords interpreted by Dutch actress and model Stefanie Joosten. This new character will be available in Q2 2019.

Working in conjunction with MercurySteam’s artists and animators, Joosten has lent her image and voice talents to play the role of Sööma, a member of the Umbra Wardogs faction, born in the Cydonia region, on distant Mars, as part of a seclusive cult devoted to helping those who suffer pain and oppression.



"Sööma is a really interesting character to play with,” said Stefanie Joosten. “She can absorb the damage suffered by her allies, but that power comes with a price for her to pay. It is really exciting seeing my character coming to life, and can’t wait for Sööma to be released!”

Hi Poetpix,

As we have explained several times in another threads, we are going to improve the shuffle system eventually. Right now we are focused on the Roadmap, which includes a new progression system (the Adventure Mode) mentioned in the video, the Space Identity update and a lot of features meant to improve the game (and Sööma, of course).

So please, be patient. Big changes take time to apply.

Hello Whatever!

Sorry for the late reply. Please have in mind if you level up (not winning) as an Antagonist, you move the Aequilibrium bar faster than playing as a Raider. And remember that you only need a 20% experience of the total when leveling up to have the Antagonist affinity (2 matches aproximately).

If you are in a Guild with other players, maybe they prefer to play a few matches as Antagonist so you can balance the Aequilibrium but, please, don't suicide at purpose since it would lead to a penalty.
