MSE, thank you. For making hot, badass women who are both athletically capable looking and at the same time are sexy but credible looking. As with all your character designs, they're just badass and unique. You are your target demographic and this is why I can trust your artistic direction. It always makes me stare with surprise and then crack a grin.

I can't wait until it gets here and I hope it's better than the ones that we have now for her. After Javelin was nerfed it's pretty terrible. In fact, Bogus Bogan is better than it now.

The problem with Schleuder is that it was originally OP as hell back in the day and I thought it was just a rotten cheap weapon and I tend ti stay away from those, like R&R, and opted for more fun and engaging weapons. After the nerf of Schleuder I tried it but it seemed too gimickly, like all her weapons except Javelin.

I never liked Bogan because it was garbage unless there was a wall or another person behind the target. Many situations occurred that meant you we effectively weaponless, like Short Fused, and others the angle would not be just right, again too gimicky. Maybe with the new push card?

J-Wheel. yout of all her weapons this is the most situationally dependent weapon she had. I mean very situational. It's another weak weapon that depends on walls or enemies on the sides. Maybe in a corridor it is god, but it;s too situational.

I have all of her weapons max forged and currently use Schleuder as Javelin is now garbage, just "mindless shoot at the floor in front of their feet" weapon (I don't even bother trying to take bank shots, it takes too long and more enemies spawn to quickly to sit there and try to aim a perfect bank when you can just run up and punch the enemy quicker). I don't even mind the nerf to the distance damage, that's fine. But that's ALL it had before. If you are going to nerf the distance damage what good is it really now? They should have increased the close up damage a bit to compensate for the fact that it will no longer kill or wound at a distance with one shot. The fire rate is too slow for the damage it does and the next shots are all weak anyways.

Jinebra was my main for a long time and one of my favorite characters. I am not going to say that her existing 4 weapons should change because they are all circumstantial and you can make them decent if you card them. But she seems now to be one of those characters who is a weapon card slave and can't really be anything else because her weapons suck without cards supporting them. I just hope that her next weapon will be good. I hope with her next weapon won't be so situational and I have to fire it on a full moon whilst saying the name Krampus three times and have to aim at their shadow in order to do decent damage. I hope her next weapon is a more universally applicable weapon for more situations and does medium damage, not shit damage but also not really REALLY high damage under rare circumstances AND doesn't need card support to be good.

Are so amusing. I lurk and comment there all the time. It's such a mess. There is every objectional viewpoint saying the opposite thing for every character in the game. I can honestly say that we don't have the balance issues they have. We have a few, but they aren't glaring. And the imbalance fluctuates so often.

I think because the nature of PvEvP of Spacelords there really can't be as glaring an issue of imbalance. Our worst was R&R and Tolchock. but I am so sick of mirror matches with "Goats" at high level dominating and "dive" at low level dominating. People will say, "Overwatch has more heroes" but do they? If only a handful of 7 are used in comp EVER then what relevance do the other heroes have. The game for all practical purposes only has 7 heroes. I can say that EVERY character in Spacelords is viable and can be used. The map may dictate this choice a but that's it.

I just wrote this post to say watching OWL and patrolling the OW forums have and has made me so appreciative of this indie gem we're in. I'm so thankful. No controversy over Ginebras but. No outcry because Hive is "neked". No accusations of toxic masculinity because Lycus but or...well just Lycus in general. No complaining about character sexuality. Oh thank you Uras Beherit, thank you. *kisses the ground of the Broken Planet*

Gameplay Feedback / Finisher Animations...

Are the lengths of time for finisher animations different among the characters? I notice some seem very fast other very long. For instance, Mikah's Elite finisher is very fast, but Valeria's is very long. As far as grunt finishers from a grab, Mikah's is long and Hans's is very fast.

I only ask because it is kind of relevant when planing what you are going to do next during you own  finisher or against someone finishing an ally.

you know how you can grab an Elite right after they finish an ally? You can do the same against en enemy player, but the timing is more finer. It also depends on if they react at all. The game will make you golden and immune to all damage UNLESS you attack and then they can react. When an antag finishes an ally stand right there unafraid and the second they finish grab, they should react, even though they would realistically have no time to do so, and then you will grab them immediately. If they, or you, are smart, you will not attack while in immunity and merely walk away making all attacks bounce off. But the moment you attack you'r immunity only protects you against weapon fire the CQC if in full effect.

Suggestions / Lower MMR Spawn rate

Remove the zerging on MMRs of 25% to 35%. The damage and health of the mooks are NOT low enough to compensate for the HORRENDOUSLY high spawn rate. Unless I'm downing them with one quick burst a peice, they shouldn't be that high in numbers. Lower MMR is supposed to be easier, I don't know why it would have a higher spawnrate.

I took the time out FAIR and fucking SQUARE to lower my MMR. I took my losses as peaceful antag to lower it. I don't see why you have to gate us at lower MMR with high spawn rates. It's incredibly annoying and aggrivating.

I'm honestly thinking of taking Poht's advice and lowering it all the fucking way down so I can actually play the game without getting killed with random difficulty spikes and zers mobs of FIFTEEN fucking mooks or more. It's ridiculous.

I can't seem to get a break in this game. I just want to play the game without cheap ass mechanics and design ruining it.

And why on earth would you think lowe level players would be able to do this? Level 1 to 50? Really? I watched them get SLAUGHTERED in MMR 30's. Why is this happening?

I think that the rate at whcich she can launch her orb/octopus needs to be looked at. She can hide behind cover while spamming endlessly into a choke. This means she is unreachable and in complete cover and those going against her cannot take cover let alone get past the choke.

This has to be the most brain dead technique in the game while also being the most aggrivating and un-fun to go against. I get antaged by Harec I know it's skill. Konstantin with Tolchock can only fire at one target at a time so there is some counter play.

The only way you can do anything against this is if you happen to have a character that has specials to allow them to get around the choke without damage. But keep in mind you cannot see what the antagonist chooses and he can see what you choose. Are we accepting that there is a set meta of characters that we must ALWAYS choose becuase there might be an antagonists? Why make other characters if there are only a handful that are practicle against the cheaper antagonist characters?

If the rate of orb fire from her special had some small CD, say just 2 seconds, this would allow more counterplay and cause her to ACTUALLY play the game instead of spam a point.

I, of course, experienced this first hand and our entire team was chocked out. Not only did we have to worry about the enemy AI, but we literally could not progress forward. It was a complete waste of time since it offered no entertainment value.

Please think about lokking into this MSE. Test her out in your office as antag. Use her on Low Blow, she's horrible on phase 2, 3 and 4. Try out different weapons on her. Notice the tiny handful of characters that can get around this and think how often you think players will choose these characters. OR, make PvP optional so those of us who never asked for this sort of cheap antagonism don't have to deal with it and those that love it can PvP til thier hearts content.

Again, this is for the developers. I've no interest in talking to other players about this as they have no power to change the game themselves and only offer pointless debate that has no practical gain.

Please make PvP optional. Playing as a Raider and dealing with antagonists is getting so tiresome. I causes me to stop playing. It causes me to lose progress. It puts me in a horrible mood. It's absolutely no fun, not even when I win.

I'm just bringing this up again to remind you it's still an issue that hasn't gone away. And it kills momentum. As I, and many others, have pointed out this would make it so everyone could play the way they enjoy. PvPers and PvEers.

This message is for you and this thread is not a duscussion thread designed for me to discuss with other players. I will not be responding to other players as doing so is completely non constructive and they aren't the ones designing the game, so they won't be able to change anything. If they want to discuss the matter with eachother I don't care.

Players: If you are a player and want to tell me something please think about how productive it will be, what your trying to accomplish and if it will even make a difference. I asure you nothing you will say as a player will change my mind or cause me to go against my own interest so please refrain from engagement, it isn't rational. If you persist after what I've explained I can only imagine you are engaging me for malicious reasons only, as I've declined any interest in unproductive civil debate.

If you dissagreee with optional PvP I suggest creating your own thread to the devs and express to them how much you like it and all the reasons why it should be forced on others who do not like it. This would be a healthy and productive way to leverage your own power, but please no squabling.

I'm getting depressed with all the controversy over Antagonists, Rewards, MMR Difficulty, Mentor Matches, etc... So much so that I forget how much I fucking love this game. Even ME the loathsome DROW has limits, that's right, I said it. And I still think this game is in my tope 10 list.

So with that said; are you making a guild? And if so, what will be your guild name? What will be your Banner? and what will be your guild philosophy? Will you guys be on the side of Herec and his raiders? The 5th Council? The Hedes Division? The Umbral Wardogs? Uras Beherit and the Aurora Specters? Or Shamash and his ancient Locals?

I will not be making a guild, because I am burnt out of  guild making and running them from World of Warcraft. But if I was going to make one again (which I'm not) I would adopt the name from my WoW guild from the Doomhammer server, Hellfire Society. I was Morlum the Orc Warlock back in Burning Crusade days. :)

Please stop penalizing squads with hidden difficulties. I'd be nice to make squads with players I enjoy playing with, but I have to turn them down because they're a liability.
