People concern about Sudden Death, but I rather consider short wound time becomes a cancer.

MSE plans to implement not only Sudden Death, but also short wounded state, from 5.5 sec to 2.5 sec in Patch Note 15.

I thought if sudden death is a buff for the game and antag, the short wounded state is a buff for raiders. However, I quickly realized, that's not true...

This is buff for Harec and Locals. However, antag benefit from this patch mostly.


First of all, MSE should remove abnegation card if apply this patch.

2nd idea is, MSE better make skill unavailable to use for short time after recovering from wounded state.

3rd is, MSE do not have to make this universal, but a feature for certain divisions, like wardogs or hades.

4th is, MSE can make this patch applicable to Raiders only. (I prefer this. So, sudden death can balance it out.)



The key to win as antag is a skill to disengage before and during a CQC(Because you won't survive if 2 or more try to grab you.) and cross fire(each shot can cause 30+ damages while you only have 60-140 life usually.).

Now, which raiders have this ability? Harec, Alicia, Hans, Rak, Ginebra, Ayana, and Konstantin. Especially, Harec with Executioner, Alicia with sassy/acrobatic, Hans with any card, Rak with speedy time cards, Ginebra with some healing card, Ayana with Makillium, and Konstantin with Tolchok are difficult to deal with.
(Mikah is removed because she still rely on CQC to take down enemies.)

For those who shown above can be even more difficult to deal with because you need to take them down with shots, but at an instant moment, they recover and they run away.


Since Antags are minority, I consider it's risky to add some change to favor them.



From Patch Note 15:

WOUNDED STATE

The wounded state has been reviewed to be more forgiving:

- It takes 2.5 seconds without receiving damage to recover from wounded (from 5.5 seconds).

- Character control is increased overall (faster turns, shorter animations when entering wounded).

- The amount of health with players recover from wounded has been decreased to 25% of the character's total health pool (from 50%).

Short fuse is used to be sudden death. Raiders are given 36 lives at the start of the game. In phase1, Cortez is available so he can fill when raiders run out of 36 lives. In phase2, his ship loses ability to fly due to an accident, so raiders can lose to the game when they all die.

Actually, they are trying very hard to make this game afloat. Please pay attention to their characters' videos, in-game instructions, and tutorials. I think they are doing great in the current state.


However, what prevents this game from making the majority happy is not the MMR (because this is an commonly utilized system to match people within a similar skill range.), I consider, it is because of network connection. One of raiders has to be a host of a game, while his/her internet is not necessarily reliable. The majority of failed punches, missing shots, and loaht bugs come from this connection problem in my opinion. They cannot fix this issue without getting rid of this hosting system and install servers. Unfortunately, it looks they cannot afford a server for now.

Tough card, huh... I missed the party.


I hope the bug where he cannot transofrm again after de-transforming during some matches is fixed too, that was making him barely unplayable since you can only use the beast form once per life

I really wish MSE can fix this issue also. He becomes not only no-skill but also cannot use any levers and aleph mechanics.

As a legacy player, I like the faster reward report screen implemented in the last update, though. Sometimes, I do not even look at Cortez's score screen, so it helps me figure out what I get from the last game.

However, I do not mind getting rid of the reward report screen completely.

partially true, if Shae is a raider, she is very good against antags, but so is focus and Aasi Dagan as well. Aasi Dagan can wound antags in one shot. It's difficult to kill if he then takes cover.

The Sa-Dhu can kill in one shot, however the weapon has to be fully depressurized and the antag has to be alone or else the shot spreads to other mobs.

Focus’ focus is instant, but each shot is not much damage. Usually, it does not kill your target in time. Also, you have to keep your target in the center of your reticle to keep shooting or the gun can  clog.

ASI dagan is much more resemble to sa-duh, but you need to keep focus on a target to charge up the gun to give meaningful damage.

Both guns are almost useless when you have your enemy close because either focus or damage is not enough.

Again, sa-duh does not need to focus or aim. Focus is instant with significant damage.

The other way around. You antag, any, and i will show you how she is unbreakable. Or you can teach me a lesson. Sa-dhu antag has been no issue to me.

Her shots can scatter when the team is in one place. She can down a few, but usually she cannot kill.

Dear MSE, by the way, I admire your creativity. Your team does great job bringing unique weapons and characters. But I consider sa-dhu gives way too much damage with little to no risk.

Dude, i don't think you ever play this game recently.
Harec has to aim. Doldren has to get close to you / aim. Iune has to aim.

She doesn't have to. In addition to it, unlike her other weapons, as soon as she aim down the weapon, target is acquired instantly. too bad, 2-3 shots you are down, full shots you dead for sure.

By the way, she can disappear from your sight and get angle.

Currently, there is no way to remove antags from pve games. What you can do is to antag and kill all the guys grinding golds and turn them all against MSE. Also don’t forget to kill newbies repeatedly so you can make MSE to realize they have to do something before young player base disappears.

Sa-dhu is not balanced. Seriously, instant lock-on with insta-kill damage?! Someone tell me how to counter her. Her single shots even have significant damage.

I leave an investigation to MSE, but it works fine to me.

Workaround:

My friend from other regions send me an in-game invite, I receive an exclamation mark on the top left corner next to the search menu. It asks me whether I want to join his team.

Else, I just join his team by pressing Square button when I receive an invitation.

Use search located top left corner of the main screen. Guild members in game should appear. Search by name if needed.
